Astro Dude
Then: Now: Ducktales is back in a brand new way. Popularity, Easter Eggs, etc. The list goes on. [spoiler Episode 1]It's a normal day in Duckburg. Donald is getting a new job but his babysitter is lost so he has to bring Huey, Dewey and Louie to his uncle Scrooge's mansion. There they meet Webby and get into trouble. They explore his garage and nearly get in all kinds of trouble and help Scrooge save the day. So impressed he invites them to his expedition. [spoiler Episode 2]Scrooge and the boys, along with Launchpad, head to Atlantis but they are followed by his rival Flinthart Glomgold, who hired Donald to try and beat him to Atlantis and get the treasure. Donald allows Scrooge to look after the triplets. [spoiler references to other series from way back in Disney's animated past]When Dewey tries hotwiring the houseboat, he mentions Cape Suzette. A reference to Talespin, for anyone who remembers it.The board of directors mention Spoonerville and St. Canard, references to both Goof Troop and Darkwing Duck respectively.Arnold the Android's head from the original series.Genie's Lamp from the original movie. The character designs are great. The triplets get more personality and now we can tell them apart. Dewey wears a t-shirt over his shirt, Huey still has the same attire and Louie wears a hoodie. Beakly looks like she was doing pilates, Webby gets a look more suited for her age, and Glomgold looks like King Dedede in terms of girth. The only ones retaining their original styles are Scrooge, Donald and Launchpad. We'll have to wait and see with the other characters. The full series will start September 23rd but we in America are getting a sneak peek now. Hurry, you guys got 13 hours encounting left. Still, what a way to take a trip down memory lane... Did I mention the voice cast changed? Anyway, discuss.
KatnissGod
This wasn't a part of my childhood, but I like anything that includes REALLY large numbers. So Scrooge's wealth.

Astro Dude
I CANT DEAL WITH YOU ANYMORE LMAO I missed "Ducktales" so much, and this is a welcome return. Looking forward to more. Now all I need is more "Darkwing Duck" and "Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers".Actually, they referenced Darkwing Duck, somewhat, in the first episode when the board mentioned St. Canard. As for Chip N' Dale Rescue Rangers I think it should take the same approach as Lupin season 2: A reunion of Chip, Dale, Monterey Jack, Gadget and Zipper on a toy of a cruise ship set up by one of their old enemies, Fat Cat, who got the Lawrence Limburger workout, you know from Fat Cat to Fit Cat. Monty: It was nice of you guys to invite us to this reunion. 5 years is a long time.Dale: We invited you.Gadget: Didn't you send these invitations?Chip: Sorry, thought you guys planned the invite. We got the same letter.Gadget: Let me see. "Every night I think about you in my dreams, come to the Luxuria and we can make beautiful music together." Guys, this doesn't sound anything like me.Dale: Doesn't smell like you either.Dale sniffs the letter and Chip restrains him.Chip: Yup, not a smell of Giga Clean motor oil. The moment Dale saw your name on the letter he practically whorked it up his nose.Monty: So this is a trap?Chip: It would have to be. Something like this. Also: A new voice cast from the old, makes since considering the voices of the original Scrooge McDuck and Ma Beagle are dead.
