[EDH] Samut and her Angels

Here's something I'm planning to build soonish. It's like Boros Angels except with lots of r a m p. Samut is chosen over Mayael because her + Oderic makes all your Angels Double Strike which gets ridiculous if you have Gisela or Aurelia.

Since you are already running Karmic Guide, I highly recommend Reveillark. It actually has some pretty good targets in your build, even outside of the combo.

I opted to skip Reveillark cuz most of my targets are just ramp or Thalia, so I didn't really see that much reason to play the birb.

Deck seems surprisingly solid, so congrats. One thing to be aware of is that you aren't running too much ramp: you already have 37 lands and lack a ton of ways to draw additional cards, so you may end up just getting flooded in the lategame. Other random thoughts.

• If you can get it, Skyshroud Elf is strictly better than Druid of the Anima.
• If Somberwald Sage doesn't end up working for you (as you only have 30 creatures), Knotvine Mystic is another consideration.
• I would include something like Defy Death or Miraculous Recovery, as a one-shot effect to bring back a big dead angel. Also makes your Faithless Looting that bit better.
• From experience, Decimate is never as good as you want it to be. I had a game where I had to snipe my own Sol Ring in order to get it to resolve.
• Akroma's Vengeance also seems bad in a deck where you want to be keeping all your mana rocks around. I would run Hour of Revelation over it in this deck anyways.
• Check out the C17 spoiler thread. A few cards there (namely Herald's Horn and Summoning of Kin) seem made for this deck.
• Lastly, Mirari's Wake is always clutch to add in.
