I want to run Toons, but I want to exploit their capabilities to bring out ED monsters like most decks out there. How do I manage this in Link Format? I would suggest you focus a build around using the Black Stone of Legend to bring out Red-Eyes Toon Dragon and then use its effect to Summon a Toon monster from your hand. The main one you want to Summon is Toon Dark Magician, who can search most of the cards in your deck. If you can tech something like a Glow-Up Bulb, you can make PSY-Framelord Omega and use its effect to clear your EMZ. If you then use Toon Dark Magician to Summon another Level 7 Toon (could even be another RE Toon Dragon to use the effect again!), you can then Rank 7. When Omega returns to your board, you can use it to start putting cards that were banished facedown by Toon Kingdom into the GY, if they have uses there. I'd recommend not going down a Link Summoning route, since most of the good Link Monsters we have right now require a lot of dedication. For example, Firewall Dragon firstly requires 4 monsters as material, but then for it to get its main effect you need to Summon another Link Monster, so it's really 5 or 6 monsters. The secondary effect is probably the most powerful part of Firewall Dragon, but only in the context of semi-infinite (or infinite) loops. Neither of these points are strong suites for Toons, so I wouldn't bother with Links for them right now. However, if you really want to, you could tech a Blackwing - Gofu the Vague Shadow or three and use it to make Decode Talker without requiring any real investment and you can then use Decode Talker's effect to protect your Toon Kingdom. Tomahawk may not be able to make Decode but surely can open linked zones in other ways, right? That or just wait for the Bladefly link retrain xDYou can make Firewall+Proxy dragon off just Tomahawk, with 1 bounce and 3 zones to Summon from the Extra Deck into. (Make Gaia Saber in the EMZ, then Proxy below it, then use the final token + Gaia Saber to make Firewall in one of Proxy's linked zones). It's decent, but not nearly as far as it can go if you have things to abuse Firewall's other effect with. And of note is that Diablosis is the 2017-2018 YCS Prize card, meaning you won't be able to use it in Toons until at least 2019, unless you have a grand or so to throw away. If you want to go down a Link route you could make Number 42: Galaxy Tomahawk, but I wouldn't recommend it. Number 89: Computerbeast Diablosis is a good Rank 7 that might be being imported in the 2017 Mega Tins, since an Xyz that was released in the OCG at the same time as Diablosis has been confirmed to be in the Mega Tins. In the meantime, Red-Eyes Flare Metal Dragon is good for ending games, but that's about it. Toons can probably Rank 4, right? So your Castel, Utopia+Lightning, Tornado Dragon etc are all good picks. I don't know the deck too well. Once Circuit Break comes along, you could tech a Destrudo to make Power Tool Dragon (I know it's not an Xyz) and search Comic Hand.
