Any idea for Yugioh Wii?

Recommended Posts

Good plot, obscure dating-sim elements, each monster has zomg attack motions, good audio, enemy AI is similar to human players and they bluff, gun fights, car chases, includes all cards up to the latest set, capability to edit and tryout different ban lists, good graphics, ALL the monsters speak in some way during the duel, a comprehensive character creation system, different difficulty settings, duel over the interwebs, world domination using children's card games, duels is space, mini-games since it's the Wii, utilizes the WiiFit mat controller in some way.

If they want to make a YuGiOh game for the Nintendo Wii and still have the motion sensor ability capable, the only way I can see it happening is if you:

1) Make the game an RPG format. You are a character, roaming around finding duels and battling against your opponents.

2) It be in a capsule monster format, or dungeon dice monster format, otherwise movement of the wiimote will be minimal if left in trading card game form.

3) They update the cards, the programming (instead of severely splicing up certain moves and abilities of the monsters).

4) THEY INCLUDE THE GOD CARDS, LEGENDARY DRAGONS, and all those good cards :D

5) Increase movement of the monsters. Don't make it like another Pokemon game where the monsters just stand there and take it. Make a video sequence out of it or something!

Make it interesting!

the wii remote will only be limited to select cards with a pointing cursor...

and if you think that god cards and legendary dragon are good, think again... also the fusion of the dragon with almost any card will create a LOT of game glitches and bugs, not mentioning that their use will waste a lot of MB and that would make that some cards, effect, animations or BGM won't be in the game ... think again...

What if we get the reverse effect, and its like a first person Dueling thing. Gotta move your arms around as if your drawing from your duel disk. EWWW... makes me sick just thinking about it. Also haveing to wave your arms around to shield from temporary blindness of a direct attack and slamming your 3D cards to activate em. URG! plz no wii yugioh, i cant stand it!

1 yes

2 yes but if cards make so that you twist the wiimote to flip the card etc.

3 yes

4 gods only with effects or banned thus useless/ not worth having like most of the yugioh games now

5 mmmm maybe but that would end up with over 10,000 animation sequences (error information overload/lack of memory) oh and they stand there and took it in the show

ender4449,

good point on the last one.

However, World of Warcraft has found a way to coninually fix the glitches and etc. I think if nintendo of america puts enough effort into a Yu-Gi-Oh game, it will take off just like world of warcraft did. A TON of people would be more interested in buying a decent Yu-Gi-Oh game if the creators put in enough effort (look at how world of warcraft took off) into some patches for the game.
