Ideal situation is to have a large amount of lands on the battlefield, specifically the uncommon Deserts, achieved via Splendid Reclamation of cards milled with your own Ipnu Rivulet. Among those cards should be Dunes of the Dead. Using these, and a Ramunap Excavator to keep your engine online, you can control your opponent's creatures with Ifnir Deadlands, and with Hashep Oasis, make your Ramunap Hydra immense. In the event combat is not the most efficient method of winning, Torment of Hailfire offers a flashier win condition.

Hapatra's Mark protects your Excavator, and Hour of Promise and Shefet Monitor help to search out your land needs.

I'm considering Simic Nissa but am unsure, as blue is really just a splash for the Ipnu Rivulet, and I don't know what would be taken out for her.

Sideboard is also something that needs to be worked out, but I'm really bad at building sideboards.

Forgive me, as I don't know much about Magic, but I do have a question that I can ask based on my own experience of the game.

What's the ultimate end goal of the Deck, other than making a lot of mana?

More specifically, what are you getting all of those Deserts on the field FOR?

The Deserts all serve utilities, as I attempted to describe in the OP.

Generally, the Wincon is some combination of Ramunap Hydra attacks, with Desert(s) on the field and in the Graveyard to make it a 5/5, and +3/+3 each turn with Hashep Oasis (A Desert) -- ideally sacrificing Dunes of the Dead (Also a Desert) so I also produce 2/2 zombie tokens -- and sinking all my mana into a lethal Torment of Hailfire.

The "Desert of the" lands have cycling, making it easier to keep Deserts in my Graveyard for the Hydras, even after a Splendid Reclamation.

Apologies, I did think this line was sufficient but evidently, I was mistaken.

Well the biggest creature is only a 4 drop, as you don't actually cast Shefet Monitor, only cycle it to search more Deserts into play. But no, you don't need many creature spells beyond the Hydra or Excavator, as Hour of Promise and Dunes of the Dead (with aid) produce Zombies.
