Yui
[spoiler=Steals Your Heart, Steals Your Gold]"We're not getting any younger, hon."Personal InformationName: Cassia FalcoAge: 21Gender: FemaleBirthplace: Enta, Aeora[spoiler=Appearance]Height: 5'8"Weight: 146 pounds[spoiler=Personality]Cassia is the kind of girl to warn people about bandits and pickpockets, act friendly and give them a warm smile to make them feel safe around her, then run off with their wallet the second they let their guard down without a moment's hesitation. Greed is by far her strongest trait, evidenced by her love for money and material wealth. She wants to always be the person in a conversation who can say "My things are worth more than your things", and doesn't care what she has to do to get her hands on the next bag of money. Which is great for her, since Cassia is also a pretty devoted and hard-working girl. When she does something, she commits, and can't stand people who half-ass something or want to do something without committing to it. This devotion and hard-working nature makes Cassia an expert at rounding up coin from others. A talent she needs, since gold leaves her pockets just as easily as it enters them.As greedy as she may be, Cassia's never been one to turn down a bet. She's quite the gambler, always willing to throw money on the table for the chance to get even more money based on a roll of the dice or the cards in a deck. If she isn't sure about a decision, she'll even resort to coin flips, dice rolls, or other luck-based forms of decision-making in order to make up her mind. Of course, since she uses loaded dice and trick coins, she'll most likely just end up doing whatever she wanted to do in the first place. And for her, that means living for more in life.Cassia wants it all. Money, power, a loving partner, all to herself. She strives for a life of excess, and doesn't really care who has to suffer so she can have more. It would be an innocent desire, even if her lack of concern for others stains it, under most circumstances. After all, who doesn't dream of living a glorious life of excess? In Cassia's case, however, this can be a problem. She's a relentless pleasure-seeker, taking the big and small joys of life both whenever she finds the chance. Just about the only thing she loves more than gold is indulging herself in whatever she wants to buy with it. Even people. Especially people.Cassia loves people in the sense that she likes to toy with them and make them do whatever she wants. Of course, it's not uncommon for her to love someone in more direct manners. She doesn't want to just be naturally loved back either. Cassia wants to make people love her. She wants to charm them, win their heart, and see them dance in the palm of her hand. Once she's got them, Cassia does whatever she wants with her new partner until she's bored with them, before abandoning them and moving on to the next. She'll always say her next partner will be the last - that special someone she'll settle down with for the rest of her life - but she lies every time. She knows it, but she's not about to tell that to the next person to fall into her hands. They might ditch her before she's had her fun, after all.[spoiler=Biography]Cassia grew up alone from a young age in Enta. Her parents were ship captains who ran deliveries of goods in and out of town, and it wasn't uncommon for them both to be out once Cassia was old enough to take care of herself. Everything Cassia knows about taking care of herself besides the absolute basics, she taught herself. For example, how to pick a lock if you lost the key to something. Or how to get out of a tight spot, like being caught cheating at gambling. Cassia wasn't a good kid.Eventually, the money coming from her family's work started slowing down. When she was forteen, it stopped altogether. The ships they were running never showed up at Enta again. No money brought new problems, like losing the house and ending up in the less desirable parts of town. Problems Cassia solved by teaching herself new skills. Skills like using a knife to defend herself, or taking things from somebody without them noticing. Thievery became her life. At first, she regretted every action she took at another's expense, but eventually, she grew used to it, and even started savoring the thrill of taking someone's stuff and trying to not get caught. Once she got hooked on the rush of taking someone's things, material possessions or money didn't satisfy her anymore. She wanted to find her targets and steal their hearts, their influence, or even their pride.Of course, such an active thief can't stay in one place for long. Once Cassia began chasing after others for more than just their money, it didn't take long for her to get caught, too distracted thinking about stealing a blacksmith's heart to worry about being caught taking her money. Around the same time, loan sharks came knocking for her to pay up on gambling debts. Cassia was met with two options. Go to jail, or get out of town. She did the same thing anyone who didn't want to waste time would do, and got out of town.Cassia laid low in Faeus for a while, before catching wind of a new up-and-coming mercenary group. The Iron Falcons. Cassia smelled a chance for vast riches and adventures being laid out before her, and - after consulting the trusty dice of course - decided it was best to join up with them and see what all the fuss was about. Of course, she waited for talk of her mishap in Enta to clear up first. She's been with the group for a bit over a week now.Combat InformationClass: ThiefAffinity: Wind[spoiler=Stats]HP: DStr: CMag: ESkl: BSpd: BLck: BDef: DRes: D[spoiler=Inventory]KnifeIron DaggerVulenary
King K. Azo
[spoiler=Lord of the Lizards]Name: RaynorAge: 27Gender: MaleBirthplace: Sanzar, Jouruun[spoiler=Appearance]Raynor stands at 6'3 (190.5 cm) and weighs 238 pounds (108 kg). Under his shirt are three giant jagged scars across his chest.[spoiler=Personality]Raynor is a confident person, believing he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to. He doesn't like when people look down on him, as if they were superior to him; it's one of the fastest way to anger him. He is very laid back, often pausing to smell the roses, have a drink, flirt with a woman. He likes to tease people, and has a smart remark ready for any occasion. The more he likes a person, the more he will tease them, as he finds it a fun way to bond. He is a bit hotheaded, a bit too much for his own good, and constantly will have to be reminded to not let insults get to him, or to calm down before he makes a bad situation worse. He cares deeply for his Salamander and always makes sure to take care of it, sometimes placing its own well being over his own. He also is proud of his family and history, and will tell the stories he memorized to anyone willing to listen. [spoiler=Biography]Raynor grew up in the town of Sanzar, located in the country of Jouruun. His family wasn't a poor house, but they were far from nobles. What they did have though, was stories. Raynor heard grand tales of his ancestors riding Salamanders into battles, winning battles and becoming legends of the battlefields. Raynor knew he wanted his name written in the pages of history, riding a giant Salamander to victory. There was one issue, though. He didn't have a Salamander, and for the longest time, it bothered him, so at the age of 15, he traveled out into the Dragon's Valley against his parents' wishes, determined to find the biggest one and wrestle it into submission. It took him around a week of searching the Dragon Valley, but he found what he was looking for. A giant Salamander, one covered in scars of past battles. That was what he wanted. However, the rash teen was too eager, rushing in without a plan, getting giant scars across his chest and losing his eye over it. Still, despite all this, the delusioned teen pressed on, doing is best to tame the giant beast. However, it was at that time, a wyvern flew into the Salamander's territory, doing its best to steal an egg. The Salamander broke away from the fight to protect the eggs. Raynor, angry that an oversized bat would ruin the chance, went to attack the wyvern, managing to leap on its back and gouge out its eye, distracting it long enough for the Salamander to kill it off. Raynor gained the respect of the Salamander, and he took it home to become a Draytter. He trained long and hard with the Salamander, now named Minerva, learning the ways of mounted combat and the spear. However, what he didn't realize was Minerva was old, and five years later, died of old age. She did, however, leave behind a gift for Raynor, an egg, which Raynor took care of. It hatched into his current stead, Gojira. Other than a rough teenage rebellion phase, Raynor had minimal issues raising the young Salamander. When he felt it was ready, the two left his town, looking for adventure and glory. mitchermitcher
[spoiler=The Noble Confidant]Maizuru Chitose23 Years Old, FemaleAeoran[spoiler=Personal Information][spoiler=Appearance]157 cm tall, 50kg. Her armor looks heavy but it's actually a fairly modern replica, made to prioritize both looks and priority and is lighter but also sturdier than it looks. Of course it is still weeaboo armor so it's not really enough to qualify as armor so she's still as squishy as a normal Myrmidon wearing something more practical.[spoiler=Biography]The Maslows are a minor noble family that rule over a few nearby towns and a portion of Enta, serving as allies to the Rakall greater noble house. They oversee a portion of the trades to and from the neighboring Yon'Lou and although mostly insignificant amongst the noble families, the Maslow house became infamous for one peculiar trait relating to this. That is, they are rather passionate for Yonan culture, well beyond a simple fair fascination. They habitually import unhealthy amounts of cultural products from the various Yonan tribes, especially fiction, they organize inter-cultural festivals and encourage immigration, they adored every aspect of Yonan culture. and are by far one of the leading houses for the pro-Yon'Lou movement. Many Aeoran houses were very much against this but the Maslows cared little. To say the least, they are a stubborn and very eccentric noble house. They hold a second, unofficial name Maizuru that they use to make communication with Yonans easier, that has become as widespread as their Aeoran name that they have began to name some of their children entirely in Yonan. Maizuru Chitose, second child of the current Maslow generation, is one such individual. Chitose had to move very often in her childhood, along with her mother and older brother, about once every two or three years alternating between the main Maslow mansion and one of the many Maizuru abodes. It was to prepare her brother, as well as herself, for the Maslow life that naturally required familiarity with both Aeoran and Yonan customs. Her parents were kind, but strict. They had a very hands-on approach to her upbringing and education, in various fields that most girls her age aren't able to access. This period of childhood felt somewhat uncomfortable for Chitose, who was a native Aeoran but did not fit into Aeoran society, and as a non-native Yonan, naturally didn't fit in there either. What her family didn't understand was that she came to feel she didn't belong anywhere, whether in Aeoran or Yonan society, and that troubled her greatly the more she grew up. On her 19th birthday Chitose ran away from home. Being an untrained young noble however, she didn't last very long and was found starving on the ground in three days. Upon capture and inquiry she merely told them she wanted to see the outside world on her own terms. Throughout the year, more of such escape attempts occurred and they would all never last too long, but they showed her tenacity. Eventually her father gave in and allowed her to travel alone, on the condition that she spent a year in training for combat and survival. It was an awkward decision that perhaps did not leave anyone in the household better off aside from Chitose herself. Their beloved second daughter was defecting, after all. A year later she was off, leaving whatever sentiments she built up over the years behind. Her swordsmanship skills were workable, she could perhaps survive a bandit encounter, but they were not amazing. Her immediate future seemed grim, but the girl ignored that (a trait she's perhaps inherited, not that she would be overjoyed) as she traveled the war-torn continent, looking for a place to call home. Amidst her travels she came across the Iron Falcons, a mercenary group comprising people from many nations and backgrounds. What began as a small encounter with a few of its members in the same inn once eventually led to her deciding to join them (although the exact details were a little messy), as least for a while.[spoiler=Personality]Chitose's desire is to explore the outside world, to find somewhere she could feel she belongs to. To her, neither Aeora or Yon'Lou felt like home as she moved between them so often. In fact, she barely knows either and would only fare slightly better than a tourist. She comes to develop a rather awkward perspective on both Aeorans and Yon'Lou, as she feels that she should feel a sense of camaraderie with them, either the Aeorans who share her blood or the Yonans whom her family is so infatuated with. Because she feels neither, Chitose feels somewhat apologetic, if she had to put a word to it. She's not quite sure though. On another note she doesn't particularly like Yonan culture, precisely because of how much she's exposed to their culture. If anything, Jourunn aesthetics seem rather exotic to her and she's mildly curious about them. Chitose is also socially incompetent. Raised in a noble household, she had her manners drilled into her, so she naturally didn't know how to interact with people outside of the very specific social circumstances she was trained for. She is polite, agreeable, and seemingly very dependable but she doesn't know how to form proper human relationships, and she's not even aware that's why she's struggling. When left alone, Chitose also becomes far more childish than she believes herself to be. She lacks long-term patience and is easily demotivated, if she could she'd rather lie in bed all day but the feeling of unease that comes whenever she neglects things pushes her onward, somewhat hesitantly. Her brother used to be her pillar of emotional support but now on her own, she copes with sword swinging practices and when no one's around, small little tantrums of her own. That she has managed to somehow convince herself she is more graceful than that is again, a reflection of her lack of self-awareness, which is very much something she's inherited from her family. To the other members of the Iron Falcon, she has spent no small amount of time trying to open up to them and getting them to open up to her. Her (perceived) maturity and (habitual) kindness makes the members relax to some extent. It hasn't been all successful but she has come to feel a basic level of trust in them as allies in combat. Ultimately what she hopes is for them to become something she could treasure, but she doesn't know for sure that they will. If nothing else she hopes to experience more of the world around her by journeying with the Falcons. Astolfo
”Just ‘ca I’m a mage doesn’t mean I won’ be glad to wipe your pockets clean~♫” Personal Information Goes by: Rain Mirren Age: 21 (Eohami 6th) Gender: “Check for yourself, why don’tcha~♫” Birthplace: Enta, Aeora [spoiler=Appearance] Rain stands at around 153cm tall and weighs in at roughly 46kg. Usual attire is just about as revealing as the above picture, with the only sort of additional ‘coverage’ being the jacket. Is a lot older than their look would suggest - and usually plays around with that fact intentionally.[spoiler=Personality]Rain’s most defining personality trait is being deliciously mischievous. If she can find something to tease you about, hold no doubts that she will. Another thing is that she’s also fairly crafty, and can lie and mislead as easy as breathing. Thanks to years of life on the streets, Rain has also grown able to read faces and body language like the streets of town, which she can read like the back of her hand. However, at heart, she's a good kid and wouldn’t ever directly harm someone. Rain is bad at holding grudges and never means any true harm to anyone - unless your definition of true harm is missing a few pieces of food from your stall. Or it could be simply that she’s never had a good enough reason to truly hate someone yet. To tell the truth, she has a massive complex about her height. Rain acts tough, but if anything, she might as well be a turtle. While full of swagger and confidence and endless capability of teasing others on the outside, it was because not many have ever tested her on her words. If one ever called her bluff on her act, it quickly falls apart, with her resorting to more bluffs and reckless decisions, pushing aside caution for herself. The few times men or women have ever took her up on her playfully lewd advances, you could have mistaken her for the still innocent-at-heart girl she is in truth with how much she got flustered. Despite her wishes to appear more adult-like, her innocence is still akin more to a kid’s.[spoiler=Biography]One of the slum orphans of Enta, Aeora, Rain never had a chance to see her real parents. However, that wasn’t a loss for her, because as she grew, the other kids in the town who were in the same kind of situation as her - living in the grey area of the laws - became her new family. Day to day life was hunting for scraps, stealing food off vendor carts, and rummaging through the garbage heaps or the peoples’ pockets for money or things to sell for money. However, it wasn’t a bad life, although getting used to the stink of the garbage was an acquired one, and Rain would take having that and her slum family over living the less-smelly life any time As for how she ended up in the Iron Falcons, you’d have to go back a few months from the present time. On one of her daily trips of pickpocketing, she had spotted a wealthy man, laden with almost as much fat as his gold and other jewelry, ripe for the filching. However, upon robbing him free of his riches, the jiggling giant of a man pulled out a magical tome. As hebegan chanting a spell, winds swirling around his voluptuous form, Rain thought of a brilliant idea. If he was a rich man, then he’d have a powerful and expensive weapon, that was common sense. If she could filch that too, she’d be set for weeks. Striking the other man square in the solar plexus and knocking him off balance, she yanked the tome right out of his hand, causing the magic to disperse. It was time to run, people had started to gather from all the commotion. However, the man from earlier had locked his hand around her ankle in a vice grip that his obesity failed to belie. Trying to struggle free, she flipped through the tome. Maybe some sort of small magic spell would help her get away. How do these things work anyways? Flipping to a random page, she began to chant the incantation there, aiming her other hand at the man’s hand. It seemed like just reading the newspaper, what was so difficult about it? Just as the last word left her lips, a gust of wind struck the man’s hand away, breaking his grasp around her ankle, although the marks from his grip remained. Turning to flee, she ran dead into a square and firm chest, bouncing back and landing on her bottom, dropping the tome. “Who the hell are you?” She asked. The man replied he was from a mercenary group known as the Iron Falcons and that he had noticed her affinity towards magic. “It would be a shame to let your potential go to waste in the slums, wouldn’t it?” She growled at him. What did he know of anything? Getting up as she prepared to run, the man leaned down to her ear. “I could just call the authorities and you’d be locked away in a dark prison for who knows how many years. Stealing from someone rich and powerful like him in broad daylight wasn’t a smart idea, young lady. So follow me, and I’ll work something out. Or you can take the hard way, your choice.” The man crossed his arms, a smug grin on his face. Rain spat on the ground. Not like she had a choice either way. Kicking him in the shin as she went to his side, she growled in his ear. “I’m a boy you dumb adult. But fine, I’ll join your little group.” And with some bribes, the return of the magic tome, and a promise the man would get her a newer and better one, revealing that the fat man actually had next to no talent in magic despite his wealth, Rain’s future would shift from a slum rat to a mercenary. a bad post
[spoiler=Sister of Scam]"Blessed be the Lady Roa and remember The Sage smiles upon those who are generous with their alms~" Identity InformationName: Fiore-Alceste la Seyrès of House Frain (formerly of House Vallan)Age: 19Gender: MaleBirthplace: Rastarn, Aeora[spoiler=Appearance]Height: 5'0"Weight: 96 lbs.Alceste's hair is actually white and his eyes are golden. Alceste's shoes are boots that go up to just below his knees and they are also heels and he doesn't wear the hat or use the parasol. Alceste's chest is also smaller and he has no indication of breats. [spoiler=Personality]Alceste presents himself to most as proper "woman" and someone knowing in the ways of high society. Alceste's words have been described as being "coated in honey" for their sweetness by multiple suitors, however, the metaphor is more apt in describing how he uses his words to trap others and suck them in. If one were to study Alceste's interactions with others, especially with those he knows to be of noble birth, they will begin to notice that while Alceste has only kind words for those he interacts with everything he says is said with a sense of detachment and coldness. This is because Alceste means very little of what he says and only makes a show of being cordial because he wants something from someone. Truly Alceste seems to be a rather manipulative person. Despite often presenting himself as a devout follower of The Sage, Roa, he merely uses his position, or rather perceived position, as a woman of the cloth to extort money from those he offers his services. Alceste's front does not seem to be entirely an act, and while he still has difficulties being genuine with others it appears that around those who are less fortunate Alceste is far more inclined to be genuine and act out of altruism rather than a desire for something in return. Quite oddly around those he has nothing to gain from Alceste seems to actually be more caring rather than less so. If someone were to point this out to him however he would immediately deny it saying that he would just consider that that person would owe him a favor. At least around those in the Iron Falcon Alceste allows himself to be more genuine, or perhaps unguarded, unfortunately, this is because he feels that other than protection he gets little out of his relationships with his fellow Iron Falcon's and so he does not have to win them over. Alceste is most of the time playfully teasing and flirtatious, however, when annoyed his attitude can quickly become caustic and even mean. Alceste also has a tendency to be a bit sadistic and enjoys poking fun at the expense of others, however, he does try not be insensitive to the feelings of others. [spoiler=Biography]Originally the son of the Vallan Alceste was born with stunning beauty, however, what Alceste had in beauty he lacked in his skills as a warrior. Too small to wield the spear, too weak to wield the axe and while he had the poise and skill to wield the blade he had not the strength needed to pierce the armor of other warriors. Initially, this was not an issue and Alceste was encouraged to train his family believing that through hard work he could become a great warrior, however, Alceste would have none of it. He despised the brutish nature of battle and looked down upon the Vallan tradition of becoming a warrior. This obviously lead to many fights between him and his father with the relationship between the two deteriorated to the point that Alceste eventually ran away from home. The young man quickly realized, however, that leaving life on the streets was not quite all it was cracked out to be, and for someone with expensive tastes like Alceste this would not do. While Alceste loved the freedom that the noble life had not provided him, however, he needed some way to support himself. At first he began with thievery, however, he despised the risk and quickly abandoned this, this left him exactly where was before without money and with no way to support himself. Alceste stayed with the caravan for several years, however, while performing in Faeus Alceste's dancing caught the attention of Lord Hammond of Frain who invited the young dancer to come serve him. Of course, Alceste seeing the opportunity to make a quick buck accepted Lord Hammond's offer immediately. What Alceste soon found, however, was that living under Lord Hammond's household was quite similar to living under his father. At first, Alceste was delighted. The Lord dressed him in fine clothes, provided him with everything he could ever want, and all Alceste had to do was perform for him, oh it was a steal! It did not take long, however, for Alceste to discover that everything comes with strings attached. It began with little things. Lord Hammond would tell him what to wear, however, Alceste did not mind, for he loved the fine clothes. Then Lord Hammond would tell him how to act, however, Alceste did not mind, for he knew he must act properly or risk embarrassing Lord Hammond. Lord Hammond would tell who in the castle he could and could not talk to, however, Alceste did not mind, of course, someone befitting his station should not speak to the servants. Finally, Lord Hammond began limiting where Alceste could go in the castle, however, Alceste did not mind, of course, he was Lord Hammond's treasure he mustn't be seen by just anybody. Lord Hammond's demands of Alceste also escalated as time went on as well. First, he forced Alceste to change his name to Fiore, the Lord saying that his old name was one of ugly brutishness, and his new one would be one of beauty just like himself. Of course, in his haste to rid himself of his old life, Alceste agreed. Lord Hammond also asked him to take the name of la Seyrès, saying that no-one could know who he used to, for what if his brutish family back in House Vallan wanted him back. And while at first Alceste performed exclusively for Lord Hammond the Lord eventually had him performing for all his guests, and of course, who could blame him, Alceste's dancing was so exquisite who could resist the urge to show him off. And while occasionally when he first arrived the Lord had allowed him time alone, as time went on the lord would demand Alceste's constant attention, however, Alceste simply brushed this off, it must evidence of the Lord's love for him, right? No matter what Alceste would make sure Lord Hammond was pleased because he knew that when the old lord died he would gift his estate to him, he had no kin, no wife, yes Alceste would be the heir of the Frain household. When the old Lord finally died, however, Alceste not only found Lord Hammond had not made him the beneficiary of his estate, but that the Lord's required that he be sent away to a convent, for he was Lord Hammond's treasure, and no could ever own Alceste as he had. Alceste first felt fury, then sadness, and finally emptiness. He had endured for 3 long years, serving that old dastard's every need, and for what!? There was no way Alceste would just sit around and be someone else's slave! First his father, then Lord Hammond, and now some dead saint!? Overtly Alceste pretended to be the model sister, and to all appeared to a devout follower of The Sage's teachings, however even as he learned the healing magic believed to be Roa's blessing Alceste was planning his escape from the convent. Stealing a horse in the middle of the night Alceste fled as fast and far as he could from the convent. While he doubted they would come after him Alceste also did not doubt Lord Hammond's possessiveness even from the grave. Having stolen several healing staves from the convent Alceste traveled along the countryside providing his services as a healer while masquerading as a devout sister of the church. It was during his travels as an apostate that he joined the Iron Falcons. While assisting a group of poor villagers who had been plagued by a particularly harsh illness the village was beset by a group of monsters, and while the group was small the village had no warriors and Alceste had no way of fighting. In an uncharacteristic moment of charity Alceste, rather than running away, he attempted to distract the monsters giving the villagers enough time to escape. As the monsters cornered him Alceste was quite convinced he would die, however in his most dire moment he was saved by Iron Falcons who had been passing through the area and had run into the escaping villagers who had told them of a young woman who had stayed behind to distract the monsters. Although at first hesitant to join them due their meager finances Alceste, against what he believed to be his better judgment, joined the mercenary group to show his gratitude and also to secure protection for himself during his travels. While Alceste has not quite realized yet joining the Falcons has given him exactly what he wanted out of life; to be free. Alaina
Alright everyone, with the deadline reached, judgement has been decided. The seven to join the ranks of the Iron Falcons areRona - Played by CowCow Aleithe - Played by NaiYue - Played by Sanaki Ada - Played by BlackLayne - Played by Kayden Chitose - Played by Mitcher Cassia - Played by Yui These are the seven that have joined and this is the order at which they have joined the Iron Falcons. So yeah. To those that haven't made it, I thank you for your best efforts but yeah, it is what it is. As time progresses, there will likely be points for your character to join, and when those come up I will message you (if you are still interested,) about where you would be and how it would work. Though, even that will likely be a long ways away, so yeah, sorry. As for you brave few who have made it, since you're all members of a guild and have been for weeks to months time, please, if you will, figure out your thoughts, feelings and maybe relations between each other. That is all. The RP itself is looking to start around Tuesday to Thursday 7/25 - 7/27, so look forward to that.

Alaina
Alright, just gonna post level ups here to start the message off. Everyone leveled up by 1 this time around. There's a thing I want to ask all of the people here which is, do you feel that combat is boring? I ask this because I can see that some people might have difficulty posting at times and turns might stall out longer than they need to, which only causes the issue to get worse. Now, I don't really think this battle was actually bad in regards to that, but I'd like to nip it in the bud before it becomes too big of an issue. Also if yes, do you have any suggestions as to how to make things more interesting?
Maeriberii Haan
Combat is definitely a bit slow and bit repetitive, although we're still in very early stage. Once the next battle is done we'll be able to see if there's more issues to it or not.
Alaina
Hey everyone, time for yet another tutorial. Because of popular vote, there are now weapon arts that I have devised for this RP. The numbers might be a bit wonky so bare with me on them, and any critiques on them would be appreciated. As for the tutorial: What is a Weapon Art?I'm glad you asked, me. Essentially, they are active abilities unique to each piece of gear they are attached to, and thus can only be used with that specific gear. Because they require more effort to use than just regularly attacking something, you cannot double when you use a weapon art (unless otherwise specified.) Furthermore, as each one requires more effort than normal to pull off, they have both an HP and Weapon Use cost associated with them. So yeah, here are the ones created so far. [spoiler=Weapon Arts]Knife: Triple TossCost: HP - 3, Weapon Uses - 3, Range Only Effect: The Mt of the Weapon is trippled. Iron Dagger: ExploitCost: HP - 2, Weapon Uses - 2, Melee Only Effect: Crit +5, +2 Mt, -2 to enemy defense on the next attack they receive. Slim Sword: WindsweepCost: HP - 2, Weapon Uses - 2Effect: Mt +2, Opponent cannot counter. Iron Sword: Blade LockCost: HP - 2, Weapon Uses - 3Effect: Mt +3, Target AS -3 against you, Hit -10% until start of your next turn. Slim Lance:Nimble ThrustCost: HP - 2, Weapon Uses - 4Effect: Mt+1, Hit +10%, AS is considered 4 higher when being attacked by target. Iron Lance: Bracing Strike Cost: HP - 3, Weapon Uses - 3 Effect: +3 Mt, +1 defense on all attacks received until start of next turn. Bronze Axe: Focused Strike Cost: HP - 2, Weapon Uses - 3 Effect: Mt+2, Hit +15% Iron Axe: Locking Strike Cost: HP - 2, Weapon Uses - 3 Effect: Mt +2, Enemy Avoid and Evade -5 until start of next turn. Bronze Bow:Longshot Cost: HP - 2, Uses - 4Effect: Mt +2, Increase attack range by 1 Iron Bow:Recurssive ShotCost: HP - 2, Uses - 3Mt +1. If it hits, next attack gains +3 Mt and +5% Crit. Shade:Shroud Cost: HP - 2, Uses - 4Effect:Mt +1, Avoid +10%, Enemy Hit -10%. Effects last until start of next turn. Dusk:Pressure Cost: HP - 3, Uses - 3Effect: Mt +2, Hit +5%, Enemy AS-1 until start of next turn. Heal: DisruptCost: HP - 1, Uses - 3 Effect: Deal 2 Damage, if you could double normally you double on this attack. Each hit incurs -5% Hit on enemy until start of next turn. 1-2 Range. Leather Shield: Shove - You push the target forward with great might. Cost: HP - 2Effect: You may shove one adjacent unit one space backward. Against an enemy this deals damage equal to your stregnth. Against an ally this does not cost HP. This cannot be used against or by mounted units. Yui
Posting here to formally announce that I'll be dropping this RP. I'm in too many and have to cut some loose, and this is one of the RPs I'm the least overall invested in, so I picked this one along with a few others. Alaina
So, some people have been more silent then others and some haven't posted in a long amount of time, so I think an interest check is in order. I would like you to respond to this thread as to whether or not you both still want to be in this RP and only say so if you think you can/will continue to post with any consistency. As this is a heavily statted rp that requires balancing around what the party is, beyond just interactions the actual combat part is very important to know who is in and who is not. Now, while some of your stances are more obvious then others, I would still like for you to respond to this thread. My next post will send us to the next part of the chapter and I will be doing so on Sunday, September 23rd. That will be your deadline to respond with your intentions on staying in this rp or not, and failure to do so will be taken as you opting out. Thank you for your time. Sethera
This might end up being a bit of a shocker considering I'm the one who made the latest post but...Honestly, not really feeling the character of Yue. It's been a struggle to post for her since day one, but I thought I'd eventually grow to like her character more and learn more about her like I've done with other characters. Sadly, I haven't, so each post I've made, especially interaction ones, just didn't really have my heart in it, as you might have been able to tell. I do, however, enjoy the RP overall, even if I felt like things got bogged down in interaction sometimes, but that might have been mainly because of Yue being a shy character. If I get a good idea for another character, I'll probably reapply, but for now, I'm dropping. I will keep following the RP though, because I'm curious to see how things go from here on. King K. Azo
I'm wanting to stay, but if too many people drop, well... there may not be a point in doing so.
Maeriberii Haan
I'm still in, but for this mission, I'm staying out. Life has been hell lately, and before anything else, a place is waiting for me before I can return to properly post in RPs again.
