But there was Talim and Lord Davok to take care of. And that meddling Master Hand. ``Armageddon!'' Zasalamel called. The Titan emerged. ``Eliminate Master Hand.'' Armageddon bowed and stepped into the abandoned cathedral. ``While I shall take care of Bass and Nightmare. They are still a threat.'' he said. He slammed his armored fist into a wall, but it went right through. "Geez, what's with you?" Gamer was floating behind him, glowing blue as always. Link glared at nothing in particular, continuing to vent his fury. "All this time..." Link growled, "...I've been TRYING—" punch— "to stay ALIVE! I would have welcomed this fate a year ago—" punch— "but nooo, it has to happen AFTER she's ressurected! Now I'm COMPLETELY dependant—" punch— "Wait, what? What are you talking about? Ressurected? Seriously, clear this up," Gamer's spirit inquired, completely unaware of Link's previous experiences with the evil blade. "It all started in 1591..." the late Hero growled, still furious at the irony of his fate. •• "Armageddon, again," Master Hand taunted flippantly. "Figures. I warn you, destroying me is as hard as destroying the rest of the universe," he cautioned, firing a tremendous barrage of missiles at the Titan. Armageddon raised his fist and some even more powerful missiles fired, hitting Master Hand in sensitive points and damaging him throughly. ``But what is the universe without it's own Armageddon, my friend?'' the Titan laughed cruelly. Like yours," he finished seriously: within Armageddon, Blaze had activated a Tension blast, puncturing the beast's esophagus. •• "What is that?" Link demanded impatiently at Davok. A Soul Orb only appears when one of the Element Key's dies. This is Gamer's Soul Orb.'' Davok explained. Armageddon choked, roaring, belching out Blaze and knocking her threw a wall. "Some unlucky area of some unlucky universe is getting one hell of a lot of rain right now, but that's about it," he sniggered, firing off his finger in a missile. "THIS is a grip!" he challenged, grasping Armageddon's waist. •• "So... does the Soul Orb function as a replacement for the Key?" The living Link was still confused. We traveled by commandeered ship to France, where we found not only a shard of Soul Edge, but another group of questers... Talim was among them, as was the most arrogant man ever to live." He smirked wryly at the memory of Yunsung. •• "S'insistez-vous," the living Link said hurriedly, using a phrase he had picked up from his deceased namesake. Zasalamel stepped onto the open Subspace Grounds as the Exodar and Dragoon sped towards the portal to Subspace. The immortal laughed.
