Super Smash Bros. ECLIPSE (Part Two of Super Smash Bros. Armageddon!)

Here is a recap of the recent events.

 

After the Hooded One picked up a human signal from Base Alpha, the infamous Lord Davok, Master of Villains, launched an assault on the base to kidnap Talim and the human boy Gamer. Now a recent battle in the Void and the betrayal of Ganondorf caused the release of the Titan Armageddon, who created a portal to Earth, sucking up all the characters in. Now the characters have landed in New York City, where a new battle begins... a battle to save Earth!!

 

Gamer and Talim are at the Docks.

 

Davok and Wario are at Fifth Avenue.

 

Ganondorf and Jysgarren are in the Ghetto.

 

Link and Midna are in a Garden.

 

Bass and Nightmare in a Church.

 

Master Hand and Blaze in Abandoned Cathedral.

 

The crew of The Exodar have crash landed in a lake, and are looking for Lord Davok.

 

 

Characters will have their beginning posts in this thread of them getting their bearings, brushing up on any personal affairs/romances, and putting more depth in the story. Let Part Two of Super Smash Bros. Armageddon begin!

Talim was unlucky enough to land on her head after her plummet to the docks.

 

"Bleh..." she murmured, dizzy. "Wha... where..." She eventually managed to determine some idea of her location: some sort of futuristic harbor. The only living being in sight was Gamer, and their elements were all she could feel. She was highly disturbed by the water's predominance over the wind in the area. Worse, the air was so heavily tainted, she could barely communicate with it, let alone direct it. "I hat' 'dis place," she rambled, words slurred from dizziness.

As Link dusted himself off, he realized he was in a sort of garden. The only living being in sight was the dark imp he recalled Master Hand threatening to crush to death.

 

"Crap," he murmured, "I'm the wrong Link." He coughed suddenly: Hyrulean air was much cleaner than this.. "I might as well try and find some form of life around here... or food... or water that we could possibly drink..." He was highly discouraged by the environment.

Ganondorf actually smashed through a dilapedated building during his fall, whilst Jysgarren landed on the pathetic excuse for a street. People soon came streaming out of their homes to see the aliens.

 

"Just Armageddon," the Great King sighed. "Just Armageddon. Really, Master Hand has got to learn to watch his tongue... or whatever it is he uses to talk."

 

"You can say that again," Jysgarren grunted as he picked himself off the ground. "We need a white flag."

 

"Oi!" Ganondorf threatened. "We aren't exhibits in your local zoo! Stop staring at us!"

 

"Something tells me these people can't afford to enter the zoo," the Hero of Twilight precautioned.

Upon rising, Nightmare was most pleased to find someone in a white robe staring at him.

 

"Finally, a church I can walk into without people pleading for me not to steal their souls!" the German sighed, relieved.

 

"That's just because they've never heard of us," Bass pointed out. "If someone who's played SC attends the service..."

 

"They'll figure out I don't have Soul Edge on me," Nightmare finished. "Erm — sir," he asked the man in the white robe awkwardly. "Where are we?"

 

"...You're in New York City..." the priest replied dubiously.

 

••

 

Master Hand and Blaze were the only ones who managed to avoid hitting the ground hard. The god-hand created a portal to appear underneath Blaze, who rolled off of him safely onto the roof of an abandoned cathedral, coughing furiously.

 

"The air here is..." Blaze was incredulous at the level of pollution.

 

"Hey, this is NYC we're talking about," Master Hand told her. "The Big Apple is the biggest city on Earth. More people live in Tokyo, but for some reason, they didn't build as many buildings in Japan." He crunched his fist in a shudder. "I've never been so glad I don't have to breathe... We're really lucky we landed here."

 

"Why?" the empress inquired, curious.

 

"We touched down at three in the morning," the creator explained. "But during the day, this place is so crowded you can't throw a rock without hitting someone. This place is abandoned, though, so we'll be able to hide inside." He drilled into the roof, tipping Blaze off his index finger as she jumped down after him.

Cloud:"Everyone ok?" they all said yes. Cloud:"ok Master Chief and Darth you stay here and start repairing the ship of the meager damage it took. Me, Sephiroth, and Auron will swim to shore and see whats up got it?" Spehiroth and Auron nodded Chief and Darth said "Ok".

 

The group swam to shore looking around to see no one in sight...

[Davok]

Davok and Wario landed with a thump on a roof. Wario bounded off almost immediately to see the strange lights.

 

Davok sniffed the air and almost choked. ``THIS is Earth?'' Davok roared in frustration. The air was heavily polluted and he could hardly breath. ``I'd rather have the dusty atmosphere of my castle than... this.''

 

Gamer rubbed his head. Looking up, he choked a little bit, too. But he was a bit used to it. He'd been to New York before. He remembered visiting it with his friends on a road trip. He remembered the docks. Picking up an old discarded rag, he covered up Talim, and went to a garbage fire so that they could warm up.

 

The security guard ran across the hall of the mansion in Fifth Avenue. Some kind of stupid crook dared to pull a heist here, in the most well guarded mansion in New York. Suddenly he came to a stop where there were three knocked out guards. Suddenly a large plump man whose face couldn't be real jumped out. Recoiling in horror, the guard recognized him from his kid's Super Smash Bros. Brawl video game. Jumping up, Wario whacked the guard, and then did away with the stolen money.

Sephitroth, Cloud, and Auron we're walking down the street in NYC, with all the teenagers and some adults staring at an all. City Folk: Is...is...that a real..., Young Boy: ARE THEY THE REAL THING!, Adult Man:Those swords look...REAL!. Sephiroth, Cloud, and Auron ran down the street and wen into an abandon building. Cloud:we have to be careful of where we go here we don't want to freak anyone out. Sephiroth: good point. Saying that as he pointed to the corner where some cloaks and a trench coat were. Auron and Sephiroth took a cloak and Cloud took a trench coat and a hat to cover his hair. They walked down another street and no one stared it was like they we're citizens. Sephiroth spotted a Cathedral. Sephiroth:Maybe someone could help us. Cloud:It looks abandon to me. Auron:Better check anyway just to make sure. Cloud, Sephiroth, and Auron walked into the Cathedral still wearing there disguises...

"Wherrar we?" Talim slurred wearily, coughing a few times and falling over. She narrowly missed the foul-smelling flames, though she was strong enough to roll away and sit up, however nauseating the action may be.

Master Hand was smart to make the hole in the ground in case someone entered: the passing police cars were attracting a lot of attention to the cathedral. Blaze merely had to conceal herself in a corner, but the god hand was so huge, nothing in the cathedral could hide him except a giant hole in the ground. Both were taking refuge in their concealed locations as the police chased after Wario.

[Davok]

``New York City.'' Gamer replied to Talim's question. ``It's a human city. Unfortunately, most human cities are like this on Earth.'' Suddenly several large intimidating men stepped out of the shadows of an alleyway, holding guns. ``Yo! Kid, dollface, give us yer doh now!'' The lead gangster said, pointing his Tommy gun at Gamer and Talim.

 

Wario heard the clatter of bullets behind him as he ran down the streets. These humans sure have pretty cool weapons. Wario told himself. Soul Edge has nothing on those guns! Wario skirted left but came to a roadblock. Eight policemen lifted their guns up at Wario. ``Down move... move... thing!'' the police sergeant stuttered. Suddenly, tendrils of shadows opened up in the ground, and Lord Davok appeared. Looking up at a nearby news helicopter with a TV camera, he shouted: ``Hello, people of Earth! Your new ruler has come at last!'' and he and Wario vanished in a puff of smoke.

Talim, who had never seen a gun before, had no reason to fear them. Though she was still dizzy, she could perceive the threat just well enough to roll into the center of the group and trip all of its members. As the lead gangster fell, however, he fired, injuring Talim's leg as well as his own. The shaman flipped her crescent blade into his neck, decapitating him instantly. The others fled as Talim fainted.

"Whu-oh," Master Hand said warily. "Looks like Davok's going public. He must have some good assets around here. Anyway, we need to find the avatar of Light. Armageddon and Davok forgot about Light, so if we find Light, we might be able to defeat Armageddon."

 

"Question is, who's Light?" Blaze responded tiredly.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Cloud:"This place just looks empty" Auron:"Yes, lets not waste anymore time here." They walked out of the abandon Cathedral and walked down to a place where boats were tied to the docks. Sephiroth:"Hmm, lets check these docks out for some clues as to where we ended up." Cloud nodded. They went to the docks and we're looking around.

[Davok]

``Crap.'' Gamer cursed. Picking Talim up, Gamer took her to an out of the way motel. ``Is there anything I can do to help?'' the concerned manager asked. ``She's been shot in the leg.'' Gamer said. ``Some gangsters at

the docks.'' The manager nodded and asked: ``Should I call the police and ambulance?'' Gamer smiled at the manager. A few days ago, he would've said yes and wondered what to do. Now he had power. Putting his hands on the wound, Gamer concentrated on healing it. It wasn't easy, the magic around here was way more hidden. Finally, Gamer healed the wound. ``H-how...'' the manager stuttered. Gamer smiled and said: ``A room, please.''

 

 

Viewers watching the local news in New York were astounded at the live footage featured. ``In other news, natural disasters have been appearing all over the world. Rescue teams and the United Nations have to be everywhere to combat this natural threat. Global Warming is suspected.'' the newcaster said. Suddenly, static appeared on the TVs and Lord Davok's face appeared. ``Hello, Earth! I am Lord Davok! Submit to me as your new ruler NOW! Or else your pathetic president won't see another sunrise...'' The screen shifted, showing the tied up President of the United States, with Wario's knife at his throat. ``Submit to my demands NOW! A new dynasty is coming, Earth! The Davok Dynasty!'' with that, more static appeared and went back to the news program.

Now that it was daylight, Link and Midna were attempting to find some place to stay. With the ridiculous crowd of NYC, that was a lot harder than it sounded.

 

"There's a place!" the imp pointed out, speaking directly into the Hylian's ear to be heard. A run-down looking motel was just across the crowded street.

 

"Yeah, if these metal capsule thingies ever stop moving," Link muttered, peeved at the ludicrous traffic.

 

"Use your Hookshot," Midna suggested.

 

"Only because an elf in green talking to a flying imp in the middle of some futuristic city is so frikkin' weird already," Link grumbled, firing the chain. He landed safely and entered the lobby.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Cloud heard a few passer byes talking."So did you see that Davok guy who had the president captured inside the white house?" "Yeah, there was some guy next to the president with a knife to his neck he looked so familiar from somewhere?" "Yeah, but lets get to the bar and get some drinks!" Cloud:"Hey guys, ill be right back." Sephiroth looked out cloud walking over to the 2 men. Cloud:"Wheres is this White House your talking about?" Man:"Huh? Are you dumb or something? Ah, whatever here let me show you." The man took out a small map he kept in his wallet."It's over here in this state and in the central of it" Cloud:"Thank You." Cloud walked back over to Auron and Sephiroth "We're going to the White House guys" Sephiroth:"How are we going to ge..." Sephiroth was interrupted by The Exodar rising from under the water and into the air. Sephiroth:"There we go!" Cloud:"Alright lets get going." The three others boarded The Exodar. Cloud:"Fly as high as we can we don't want to be seen" The airship went up into the air higher then any plane would fly and they headed for the White House...

The manager heard a knock from the door and opened it, revealing an elf in green clothing and a small imp. Fainting, the manager lay on the ground. Gamer heard Link and Midna entering and came to the door. ``Well, if it isn't Link!'' Gamer said. ``What are you doing here?''

Sephiroth flew down from The Exodar and flew into the oval office window and landed on a couch sitting and looking at Davok."Hello."

The crew of Exodar was in for a surprise. Master Hand and Blaze had followed the ship there. The creator of good appeared through a portal and crunched its fist down on the ship, cracking it in half, and leaving the crew at the mercy of Blaze's fire.

"Well, you can't live your life in a random garden," Link argued good-naturedly with the human boy. "I found out a rupee can buy you a gun here," he added, twirling the EAA Tanfoglio Witness around his finger before putting it back in its well-concealed holster. "Don't worry, I know how to use it. But still, what's the deal? A rupee's only worth about as much as fifty cents here. Why are people treating them like precious gems?

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Cloud went to his comm link:"Sephiroth!" Sephiroth flew outside the window and up into the sky, grabbed Auron and Darth and brought them to the roof of the White House. Darth then used his force powers to make it so Cloud and Chief landed safely on the White House roof as well. Cloud(comm link): "Davok there here up in the sky."

Master Hand teleported again, this time crunching Sephiroth in his grip. "Why... won't... you... DIE?!" he bellowed, teleporting again with Sephiroth still in his grasp. Dropping the warrior in Lake Erie, he returned just in time to see Blaze burning Cloud and the Chief.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Auron:"Dragon Fang." Flows of energy came out of his sword and countered the fire. Auron ran over to Cloud and Cloud gave him a throw with his sword and boosted Auron up to Master Hand. Auron:"Banishing Blade" Auron hit the hand and the hand was confused as he sensed no actual attack on him but then he couldn't see and he felt himself plumeting to the ground for some reason. Darth made Auron land on the ground safely with the force

Hoping his façade of pain worked, the hand teleported behind the group and grabbed Auron.

 

"Darth, don't dare make a move," he warned the dark Jedi, "or Auron will die." Blaze Axel Tornado'd onto the roof, hands alight.

[Davok]

``I dunno.'' Gamer shrugged. ``Maybe it's because it's from the game world or something. Anyway, Talim's hurt. We need to get her out of here ASAP.''

 

The portal was still open. Of course, the Koopa King couldn't help but be sucked into it with his Koopa Clown Car. Shadow followed suit.

 

Meanwhile, back with Bass and Nightmare...

At the words "Talim's hurt," Link's whole demeanor changed in an instant. "Lemme guess, bullet wound? I have Blue Potion on me, but I have a feeling it won't cure those damned balls o' lead. Master Hand might be able to do something, but you saw him taking off for the White House... damnit!"

 

"Lemme try," Midna offered, gingerly removing the actual bullet with her 'hand.' "BP should work now," she decided, eyeing the bullet dangerously.

 

••

 

The service had begun. Unfortunately, Siegfried had been unable to remove his armor, so he was still Nightmare for the time being. Bass had become part of the church database, whilst the knight simply hid and watched.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Sephiroth was just now flying back but he stayed in the air not daring to make a move for Aurons sake. Spehiroth(Comm Link): Davok my group may have to forfeit this round.

[Guest Supreme Gamesmaster]

"Use the PowerDown gun," Master Hand ordered Blaze. The fire-cat pulled a cannon out of seemingly nowhere and shot Sephiroth with it. He was sent plummeting to the ground. The empress then used the ray on Cloud, Master Chief, Darth Vader, and Auron in turn.

 

"Your powers have been reduced to those of a normal human warrior," Blaze explained.

[Davok]

Davok looked down on the battle of the grounds, yawning. He knew Hand or Blaze wouldn't trade an innocent human life for revenge on him. Besides, there's Armageddon to be worrying about. He had to destroy him so he doesn't interfere with his plan of world domination.

 

Bowser's Koopa Clown Car hovered over the ghetto of New York. Seeing Ganondorf and Jysgarren, he roared in outrage. Jumping down beside a group of frightened homeless people, Bowser charged at them.

 

Shadow sat down at a street corner. He did not know where he was. He didn't remember anything. A curious hand reached out and stroked his long fur. ``Who are you?'' a curious teenage girl asked. ``Are you-'' Shadow's eyes widened. Somehow, this girl has just jogged his memory. ``Maria.'' he said. ``Um... what?'' Dragging the girl along, Shadow ran through the streets.

 

Nothing lasts forever. How come they deny that? This beautiful... pristine planet... is perfect for destruction!!! I am the Titan, Armageddon. I am the Destroyer of Worlds. I shall have the Light avatar, if it's the LAST THING I DO!

Auron, Sephiroth, Chief, Darth, and Cloud we're lying there defeated and waiting the hour for there power to return. *Master Hand will surely be gone by that time* Cloud though in anger.
