dustdevil9
So I'm convinced BA can be relevant in link by utilizing multitude of floats and other said effectBut.....I haven't figured out how to fully make it good, so maybe if I can get some opinions and other ideas thay would be greatPlease do not say just don't play it. I want to be able to make it a super competitive deck.1 Idea is utilizing the r3 Engine to combo into Zoo Shenanigans and maybe trying other combo pieces in the deck, but I'm just just left at a disadvantage on what to do after that.2. BA floats so well and their effects trigger off of the Link Summon, so I want to use Farfa and Libic to float out the combos and set up so kewl boards. If I new about more Link Monsters (IE direction of Link Points) I could establish a basic combo for you. Tinkerer
I assume what you're thinking is something along these lines: BA engine:1 Graff1 Cir1-2 Scarm3 Libic2-3 Farfa Other stuff:1 Tour Guide0-1 Math The problem I see here is that it looks too big for a typical "engine" yet, at the same time, too small to ensure the engine works out as it's supposed to... Now, don't get me wrong, I don't actually think BA are as dead under Links as others seem to think, but as of right now having BA as a Summoning Engine won't do. Instead, BA should work as, say, a "floating deck thinning engine". Now, I've never actually used BA, but they have a few other members that are generally unused, right? I only know the one that can burn for like 900, but yeah. You could use the others like Farfa, the one that burns, and possibly a few of the other underutilized ones. At that point, you could either keep the engine relatively small and use it more to hassle your opponent and thin down your Deck to get to another engine, or (if you REALLY want it to be the primary Summoning Engine) you can maximize it so you could slap down 2 and get into your Zoos quicker. I can look for some links, but until they release something like the DARK version of Mrs. Radiant, I can't think of anything worthwhile that can really help move BA forward. Wouldn't' that stop them as an engine for Link summoning?
Tinkerer
That's what I mean when I say I wouldn't recommend using it as a Summoning Engine. It could get stuff out to begin with (something that would work better with more BAs) or use their easy floating for their effects rather than as an end goal (something that would work better with less BAs). dustdevil9
Well with Libic the effect is negated for what ever monster it summons so you get a free float out of your hand but the ratios are more like2-3 Fiendish Rhino2-3 Libic1 Cir1 Graff1-2 Farfa1-2 ScarmTour GuideCrane Crane Which yeah realively large for engine but I mean I could potential tech a Fluffal/Feighrfur shenanigans into for draw and ruining into what ever main body I need/want for the Links
The Amazing Avian
Problem with BA is there's no BA link. Your stuff is gonna keep popping itself and you can't exactly just sit on a Dante all game. I don't think it's dead per se, but this new format did more damage to the deck than any banlist did.
