Phoenix Wright's Disbarment

This is a kinda short fanfiction of what happened after the Zak Gramarye trial. It shows Phoenix's hearing at the Bar Association.

 

April 20, 2019, 12:00 p.m.

Bar Association Building.

Meeting Hall.

 

Bar Association Chairman: "Phoenix Wright, do you know why you are called here?"

 

Phoenix: "Yes sir."

 

Bar Association Chairman: "It would seem one of our associates is absent today, nonetheless, it is time we discuss your future, or lack thereof."

 

The gavel slams.

 

Bar Association Chairman: "It has come to the attention of the Bar Association that Phoenix Wright has been accused of presenting forged evidence in yesterday's trial. Resulting not only in mass hysteria, but also the disappearance of your client. Famed Magician Zak Gramarye also knows as Shadi Enigmar, who was tried for the murder of his mentor, Magnifi Gramarye. This is a very grave situation for you."

 

Phoenix: "I know."

 

Bar Association Chairman: "Have you anything to say in your defense?"

 

Phoenix: "No sir."

 

Bar Association Chairman: "Hmmm... I must say, your track record up until now had been spotless, say for one defeat, the trial of Matt Engarde. You were able to defeat Manfred Von Karma, no small feat mind you, and recently Prosecutor Godot, yet this trial will probably leave the worst blemish ever. Perhaps that Maya Fey woman should have stayed with you, you were very overconfident thinking you could do this on your own. A fatal mistake, one that will cost you everything. We shall return with our decision. In the meantime, you will be treated to an Inquiry."

 

1 hour later.

 

Bar Association Chairman: "Phoenix Wright, we of the Bar Association have deliberated, and have reached an agreement. The results of the Inquiry please."

 

The Bar Association Chairman looked over the results.

 

Bar Association Chairman: "Phoenix Wright, I am sorry. Your badge please."

 

Phoenix hands over his attorney's badge.

 

Bar Association Chairman: "Phoenix Wright, you are hereby stripped of your attorney's badge. You are no longer allowed to defend anyone in court, and any permission to retake the bar exam will be denied. Meeting adjourned."

 

Phoenix leaves the board room.

 

Bar Association Member: "Mia Fey would be SO disappointed in you right now."

 

A tear falls down Wright's cheek as he hangs his head in shame and leaves the office.
