Flash Flyer - Sakura
Because it's a literal spamhole. Pretty much this. Miscellaneous was intended to be a literal spamhole, and it makes no sense to give post count for random posts (admittedly, some of the posts in Miscellaneous do have some substance). If we had post count enabled in Miscellaneous, certain users would already be Legendary Members by now (or comparable to getting ragnarok1945-level post count). Same goes for Games, because most of the time, it's just counting (but there are exceptions).

Flash Flyer - Sakura
If you're wondering what I mean about ragnarok1945-esque post count, here's an abridged version. rag used to post heavily in Custom Cards (and elsewhere); a lot of the time without substance (actual critique) and just rating. Some of the users at the time didn't like it and suggested something be done with him. (Think of one post every minute or so in Advanced [or Realistic as it was called at the time], when activity was at a high). He's gone now, but at the time he got axed, he had over 50,000 posts. (Recall that DL's the highest poster right now, and he only has a little over 48,000 for comparison). I won't mention the other details about him, but yeah.
