You can only use this effect of "Block Dragon" once per turn.

 

His revival effect isnt OPT + he has a floating effect (OPT) that triggers when sent to graveyard. Def link summon kneejerk bait.

 

Thankfully he only needs to banish earths so Brilliant Fusion makes the card ez to access. And there's quite a few LINK EARTHs in the form of Gaiasaber and Missus which are 1 monster apart. Zoo can feed multiple summons extremely easily.

Level 4 Earth that searches more earths when sent to the grave for Missus? Goukis

 

Yooo predaplants happen to be able to form a Rank 3 while searching brilliant fusion thats pretty dope.

 

In fact, predaplants can form Firewall Dragon while setting up a Gouki (only 3 members so far, but 5 materials between them including Gouki Rematch) to cycle through each names' floating effect. Just Invoker + Gouki for missus, Brilliant fusion dump block dragon for gaiasaber, then banish Invoker + both Gem-knights for Block Dragon's revival and make Firewall. 

 

Now you still gotta search off Block Dragon:

 

 

Also 2 of the guys but searching these is just a 1 material difference in Link Material

 

 

Pretty solid since in between you can revive Block Dragon multiple times after consuming EARTHs for Link Material and cycle thru Gouki searches

Wow, when you put it that way, yeah, Block Dragon sounds like a great sleeper card. All that it and the meta need now is a strong Rock deck to take advantage of the searching. Or perhaps you could try something with Koa'ki Rocks + Diamond Core as a tech engine of sorts? Something like 3 Koa'kis/2 Cores, IDK.

I like using it in Gogogo to search Giant! Onomatopaira is neat since it can just discard random EARTHs for Block Dragon, and can also serch out Gagaga Magician for Rank 8s with Zirconia or Dododo Swordsman for Trade-In fodder (lol)

 

Gaia Plate the Earth Giant is pretty awesome (being able to kill Chaos MAX is always a plus from me) and can be searched by this, although the Banish cost does conflict with Block Dragon. It's the best thing to summon with Doki Doki though if you have a Block Dragon or another Level 8 Rock to discard.

 

I hadn't thought of using Goukis to fuel it though, that sounds quite nice.
