That said, given the nature of the deck, my answer might just be a shrug.
Yuuji Kazami
Ayyyy lmao. Could add a Grand Mole somewhere in there for the Giga Drill Break meme lol.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Ayyyy lmao. Could add a Grand Mole somewhere in there for the Giga Drill Break meme lol.Well that wouldn't add anything to the deck, so I'm gonna have to say no there. EDIT: I just realized there is literally no reason for me to be running the YZ stuff now. Big changes incoming.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
V2 is up, not bothering to type a list this time. AG and YZ are now out, with a heavier focus on fusion summoning because DRAGOSTAPELIA IS A REALLY COOL CARD

(GigaDrillBreaker)
I'm sure you have your reasons for the Flying Penguins but what are your reasons for the Flying Penguins? Though it is now removed from the deck (since now I jsut use Zefrasaber for bahamut shark), it was a tech I was pretty happy with. Basically, it just needed to be a WATER Aqua monster, so that I could use it as a material for Amethyst as well as bahamut shark. I thought flying penguin was the memiest option. (GigaDrillBreaker)
V3 is Live! So, in this post I am going to give a (hopefully) short outline of the deck, why I chose stuff, specific combos and synergies, etc. Hopefully I can keep things relatively coherent. [spoiler=Metalfoes]The metalfoe techs are some of the earliest stuff in here that is still remaining now. I chose the maindeck metalfoes that I did (goldriver, silvbird, steelen) mostly just for their levels and scales. Goldriver can be used in rank 4 for Emeral, Broadbull, and Chakanine, whereas silvbird can be used for Leviair... I guess..? Steelen could be be replaced with volflame and would make no real difference. Honestly they are mostly just here because their pop effects and scales assist other engines used, as well as for their fusion spell and extra deck monsters. In the extra deck, I am teching two Metalfoe fusion monsters. Crimsonite is literally just "hey look a way to clear space on board and make a 3k body". Alkahest, on the other hand, is a very nice disruption card that I aim to end the turn. The destruction effects from the metalfoes serve a variety of purposes. 95% of those purposes are popping Baobaboon, which is just a funking amazing card I will elaborate on later. [spoiler=Gem-Knights]Brilliant Fusion is honestly just a bonkers card. It can send Snow (or trick clown, I guess) to the graveyard as well as a normal monster (ALKAHEST YOOOOOOO) to the graveyard, as well as put a fusion monster on board and give me an extra normal summon. Seriously, it is just stupid. Seraphinite on board can be used as fusion material for Dragostapelia (one of my disruption bosses) as well as Crimsonite (which is cool, I guess?). Brilliant fusion can also be searched by Darlingtonia Cobra, so that just makes the engine that much more consistent, especially considering I am inexplicably running a 60 card deck. [spoiler=Zefra]Okay, so this is one of the goofier choices, I think, but I am unendingly happy with it. Zefraath is just a great card, since it helps set up a scale as well as load the ED for a pendulum summon. More often than not, I use it to copy the 1 scale from Zefrasaber, before pendulum summoning zefrasaber and overlaying it with norden to summon bahamut shark. The other zefra I run is Shaddoll Zefracore, who just allows the combo to work a tad bit more. A scale of Zefracore+Zefraath (copying zefrasaber) summons zefrasaber, and a scale of Zefrasaber+Zefraath (copying zefracore) summons Zefracore, which then summons Zefrasaber from the Pendulum Zone. This engine has increased consistency from 3 copies of providence, 3 oracle of zefra, and 3 terraforming. Zefracore is also able to be used as fusion material for Dragostapelia and Crimsonite. If used from hand, this will trigger its effect, potentially giving a free summon to zefrasaber. [spoiler=Zoodiac]I don't think this requires much explanation. They can very easily +a million, and much of the rest of the deck is focused on getting this engine online. Drident is also just a great monster to resolve a board with. Consistency is added by barrage, as well as invoker, which has multiple paths to summon. [spoiler=(preda)plants]With three copies of scorpio, and three copies of lonefire blossom, they show up once in every 10 or so cards. Darlingtonia Cobra can search for Brilliant Fusion, Fusion Substitute, Instant Fusion, and Fusion Gate. The two predaplants can then be used to xyz summon Invoker to summon Ratpier, or for Leviair, which can be used for some bullshit idk. Lonefire can also summon Baobaboon, which is funking amazing. The on-summon effect helps tuck away cards that I can freely search while grabbing power techs. Additionally, if popped, it summons 2 more of itself to use for invoker or leviair. The predaplants, as well as baobaboon, are all DARK, meaning they can be used to summon Dragostapelia. [spoiler=Other Techs]Snow: She can be sent by brilliant fusion, and can then summon herself while simultaneously making room on the field. Not to mention she can act as SS2 disruption.Hydralander: I figured I could probably summon it, so why not. This is the only maindeck monster among my disruption bosses, but is an amazing one. Effectively speaking, Hydralander is a Drident that doesn't run out of materials and has 3000 atk.Black Sheep: This card is hilarious. Searchable by broadbull and grabs fusion subsititute, which is all it really needs to do. Also, it is dark for dragostapelia, but that has only mattered once so far. Still neat.Fusion Gate: I mean, I am running terraforming, and darlingtonia can search it as well, so why not? Card is honestly just stupid. Since Norden can revive a DARK monster, it pretty much guarantees Dragostapelia.Leviair: So, this is my other rank 3, beside invoker. I originally added it because I was tired of opening multiple r3 engines. This is honestly a stupid strong tech. Fusion Gate and Snow banish basically whatever I need banished, then Leviair can put them back on board. Good stuff all around.
