Sleepy
I pretty much agree with Parenthesis here. Plus, the game always gives the competitive edge to a new deck regardless of the rules so that wouldn't change much.Yes older decks are slower and harder to use, but it doesn't kill them. It actually is very fun to try using older decks vs older decks with the Link rules (without adding Links so far). Sometimes we have little fun strategies like being unable to go for a bigger hit and opting for leaving an opponent's monster on their field purely because they won't be able to use the Extra Monster Zone for anything and their current Extra Zone choice isn't gonna cut it for what next turn's plan is. Honestly, I'd welcome it without Links existing, and with Links it is still not too bad.I also believe that there are ways around the limitations (at least casually) such as revival. My Heraldics resort to Xyz Reborn and Synchro Decks like it when Stardust/Shooting Star leaves. No doubt down the road they'll be making non-Link workarounds for the Extra Deck to come out. Plasma Prince
Not a huge problem to me but it does look a little jarring. It's nice that they want to save space.
