Trebuchet MS
Fanfare: Give your followers "Last Words: Summon a 1/1 Skeleton." I can safely say this is the card pushing Shadowcraft into its present-day strength. With him, you get a sticky board for Orthrus to buff, a lot of trading fodder to boost your Shadow Reapers through the roof, followed by a whole load of Shadows to fuel Death's Breath or Eachtar afterwards. In Shadow mirrors, whoever lands Catacombs sooner and on the wider board typically gets the advantage. Landing him on turn 3 after an unopposed 1- and 2-drop is a pretty good advantage barring a few rare outs. Take out Prince, and you lose Shadowcraft's biggest source of strength. They lose a lot of shadow-gathering momentum. But completely deleting the existence of a card is the easy way out. Cygames' recent nerfs to Goblin Mage and Piercing Rune show that there are ways to reduce a deck's power without effectively erasing it from existence. What, then, would be an elegant way to nerf Prince?
Arimetal
Why nerf when you can bring the game to a new level? Prince is basically a must if you want to compete and those kind of cards are unhealthy for any game. Just make alternatives to him. Wizarus
The entire deck dies if you nerf Prince Catacomb. Eachtar is the main problem, Shadow doesn't need 3 copies of Dr. Boom. I'd nerf Orthrus too, Shadow doesn't need Stolen Life on a body for 2 less mana. You can't blame Catacomb for these clearly broken cards being printed.
