It really, really would have been nice if that (1) effect applied when it battled, not when it attacked.

Well, it does give them more options for Fusion Monsters, making it more worth going for Fusion based shenanigans, but it's not exactly amazing, not bad, you can make a lock if you get two out, so that's fun, but yeah, it's just ok.

Double Liger + Double Empress is actually a pretty decent lock field. No targeting, no destruction, no battle, plus you have effectively two 3000 beaters and two 2800 beaters.

Basically with this and Empress it works to have Fusion Reserve and Recovery for Amazoness Fusion Plays still all Amazoness need now is their own Polymerization Searcher or their own version of Polymerization.

 

Still this being able to attack for 3000 is nice even though its only 2500 when it is attacked and its (2) effect seems a little weak since it only activates after a battle where if your opponent doesn't have any other monsters this isn't going off still attack locks with 2 of these are nice.

I am sorry, however (apart from ATK power) this card is completely redundant, considering being protected from being destroyed by battle and from entering battles is definitely not redundant ... this should have really protected from targeting effects.

That being said, the fact this card can non-targeting reduce ATK makes it tolerable at a 1-2 off (considering the only other fusion is empress), however nothing amazing and a liger + empress field is definitely inferior (unless you have to push rather fast) to a double empess field (considering empress even floats (unlike this card) and even into the stratos of the archtype ...).

As for those saying amazoness need an own fusion spell ... perhaps, however princess/the searcher spell + poly/a poly searcher (except blazeman) + fusion recovery is already a double empress field.
