ShimoHkun1
So I discovered this band about a year ago through the Punk Goes Pop series by Fearless Records. Palisades-Fall Palisades-Bad Girls Palisades-Aggression What I think these guys have that's truly special, is pulling off a Pop sound but combining it with Metalcore, basically a Metalcore Linkin Park. *cough* disappointment *cough* Aside from that, I appreciate the modern Issues-esque sound without the Bieber sounding vocals, and you can see the genuine musicianship in all the members, which being a stickler for bands with good musicians aside from a good song, to me is a great thing. Does anyone else share my appreciation for these guys or is it just me?
Susie
Despite my distaste towards modern Metalcore I find Issues to be pretty fun and Headspace was a damn solid record, theyre actually trying to do something unlike most other Metalcore bands from the past 10 years or so and they also know not to take themselves too seriously. I was happy to hear about these guys and their similarities towards Issues however I find these guys to be so boring, plain, and bland. However I am glad that Issues are making an impact on Metalcore its a good breath of fresh air from the countless Djentcore bands and blatant rip-offs of Underoath and August Burns Red. And by the by has anyone heard the new Falling in Reverse record? s***'s dope.Chugs are fine in a small dose or when something is actually done with them. Never liked Falling In Reverse as theyre not the kind of Post-Hardcore that I ever liked. Unless their newest record has anything to put it above the rest then I probably wont budge with it.
