BLASTERZ Posted April 23, 2017 Report Share Posted April 23, 2017 This card will be the b**** vs links in the upcoming future, here's why1) easy to make i.e. red resonator into a level 4 pend, or even better, denglong + level 3 zefra yang zing2) its effect triggers multiple times in a row and can be used to bypass effects through manipulating chains3) the effect you usually wanna keep as chain link 1 is the effect to give control, and the primary target you want to take is a link monster4) by taking a link with say 2 arrows point sideways, you ensure yourself extra zones basically5) there are cases where they will have a nonlinks, in that case, that is fine, you still maintain a certain advantage. You can also find a way to remove those first then go into metaphys and take their links6) best works in zefras as the field is a protection by placing it in chain link 3 7) it is a level 6 synchro wyrm, baxia or crystal wing is your choice Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted April 23, 2017 Report Share Posted April 23, 2017 Your opponent can always just give you the Link in their EMZ, which usually sucks in the MMZ. Try again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Expelsword Posted April 23, 2017 Report Share Posted April 23, 2017 The unofficial boss monster of Zefra.Using it with Oracle means you can take your opponent's "invincible" Crystal Wing and laugh at them. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Do you Raigeki and hope that they protect the exact thing that you wanted to take? Do you take the slow route and beat over their other monsters first?They had a piss-poor stun field if they allow you to do the latter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Kaiji Posted April 23, 2017 Report Share Posted April 23, 2017 For the record, its post links and given the CODT links the boards are pretty mediocre atm, at least until the link structure deck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Valkyrus Posted April 23, 2017 Report Share Posted April 23, 2017 Zefra may be the most relevant deck to use this in but the Symphonic engine is perfect for this. Used it ever since day 1 and always had a soft spot for it.Activate guitaars > Normal sizzers > SS Piaano with Guitaars > sync 7 into Meteorburst > SS Guitaars with Meteor > banish piaano making Guitaars a Divine-Beast (because why the funk not) > Banish sizzers to SS Piaano > Make Horus.Or just simply Normal Summon Guitaars and SS Piaano from your graveyard to make Horus. I like making the surprise Arcanite Magician out of Piaano and Sizers too. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
(GigaDrillBreaker) Posted April 27, 2017 Report Share Posted April 27, 2017 Hysterically easy to summon in metalphosis YZ. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~ P O L A R I S ~ Posted April 27, 2017 Report Share Posted April 27, 2017 We just got Brionac back which should be more effective against most Links. I suppose this could be something to keep on the backburner though. Beautiful artwork. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
(GigaDrillBreaker) Posted April 27, 2017 Report Share Posted April 27, 2017 Brionac ... should be more effective against most LinksHow, exactly..? Like, easier to summon, but in decks that can summon this the difference is negligible. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~ P O L A R I S ~ Posted April 28, 2017 Report Share Posted April 28, 2017 I guess, but where room is tight (with the advent of Links it will only be increasingly tight) and I'd have to choose a Level 6 Synchro I'd certainly choose Brionac post-Link over this for its versatility. I see this having a niche in those certain decks (Yang Zing in particular) but not as something that'll become a staple post-Links. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
I still love it regardless.Best wtf moment for me is when you drop a gorgonic guardian by making piaano and guitaars into rock-types with piaano's effect (by banishing it and his on-field effect). (a guitaars+piaano engine could work in electromagnets too for the same reason. But I've tried the engine in almost any deck I've made so not sure how good it actually feels there. Except that sentry of stone is a great discard fodder for Guitaars.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
