Mr. Hyde
OoCBGMA large school bell's calling rang across the skies, prompting for the new school year to finally begin. But this was no ordinary school year, nor was this no ordinary school! This was UA, the school for those Quirk-gifted individuals to hone and train their abilities so that they might one day become the next top hero to serve respective governments across the world! The world of pros was waiting for those who graduated, and this year's batch of students looked like top contenders! This was Japan's shining symbol, a basket that they laid all their eggs in, in hopes that they would become the front runners in producing top class heroes! It was no wonder why UA was boasted as one of the top hero academies across the world. The building was rather large, and it housed three gargantuan doors with the symbol of UA imprinted on the surface. A large, cement staircase led up to those doors, and standing at the base was a girl, visibly vibrating, and shaking the handlebars that rested on the stairs. "Oh gosh! Oh gosh! Oh gosh! Oh gosh!" She was on repeat, clattering her teeth as well as appearing super tense. She wore the classic UA uniform, with a short skirt. It took so much for her to get to this point, yet she wasn't even attempting to walk up the stairs."Ha! Typical Freshmen. Might as well throw it in if you're afraid of stairs." Upperclassmen laughed and snickered at the girl as they passed, but would trip and fall on their face's, due to Ino's lack of self control. The vibrations tended to just seep out at times...and they deserved it anyways. The upperclassmen propped themselves back up, and continued on as if nothing had happened...after all, they were some of the first ones to arrive, so no one was able to see their massive blunder on the first day back. The ringing in the air finally stopped, meaning that ten minutes remained until they would be late to class."Ten minutes huh? If I spend one minute on a step...that should give me one minute to book it to class..." She bit her nails nervously, that run would be impossible. She had to buy herself more time! Her vibrations became more intense, as the ground below her started to shake. She had used her quirk in her previous school days to cause a slight earthquake to either cause a delay, or cancel school altogether. However, before any serious damage could take place, a hand gripped onto her shoulder."Excuse me little lady, you seem to be shivering!" Ino stopped shaking suddenly to turn around, and notice the top class hero, Glory! With a mixture of shock and awe, causing her body to vibrate once again erratically. Glory scratched the cheek of his armor, excited to see a strong new addition to the school. "Ahhh so that is your Quirk! I do believe I saw you during the entrance Exams! Ino Todoya if I'm correct! An impressive Quirk you have! We all expect great things from you!"Todoya shook her head up and down, but with her vibrations, it was hard almost impossible to tell."Better make it to class soon, Ms. Todoya. Wouldn't be good for you to end up in my office during the first hour of school, now would it? I am the Principal after all! HOHOHOHOHO!!!!" The boisterous laugh rang out, almost as loud as the school bell. Principal Glory cleared his throat before turning around and heading up the stairs. "And by the way, Ms. Todoya, this institute has state of the art Earthquake prevention systems built into the foundation. Don't think you're the first one to try and halt school hours with a Quirk! HOHOHOHOHO!" Principal Glory strutted towards the doors, and pushed them open with force. He turned the crowd of kids that started to flood the front of the school, eager to start the new year!"WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA STUDENTS!RISEABOVE...""MAX OMEGA!" The wave of students roared in unison. Glory then headed into the school, where he flashed a thumbs up to the rushing crowd. With the other students rushing so boldly, Ino finally found the confidence to move."I can't be outdone now! YOU'RE ALL GONNA BE MY FRIENDS!" She said, shooting out shock waves, accidentally making some more students fumble over themselves. Ino propelled herself up the stairs, and into the school! Now she just had to find class 1-A, and her new career as a hero in training would begin!
👀 REP 👀
"I think this is the place..." The young man stood in front of the breathtaking school. Isami had awoken early as to not be late, but somehow found himself getting lost on his way to the school. He turned to his watch that he wore underneath his uniform's coat. Luckily, it didn't seem like he was late, although he also didn't have much time to take in the scenery. Share, really - it was a rather beautiful scene, what with the sun shining brightly behind the school, giving the illusion that the school itself was glowing. In front of the school was a roaring crowd, and in the middle of it was a tall man in golden armor. "WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA STUDENTS!RISEABOVE..." "MAX OMEGA!" The wave of students roared in unison. Isami couldn't help but smile at the energy of the others. Determined, he started making his way towards the school. "I can't be outdone now! YOU'RE ALL GONNA BE MY FRIENDS!" One of the students ahead of him shouted, as Isame felt the ground suddenly shaking. Miraculously, he managed to not fall over, although he had bumped into another student. "Sorry about that." He apologized, sheepishly chuckling, before remembering what he was here for. He made his way up the stairs that lead to the school interior. Not knowing exactly where class 1-A was, he decided to follow the flow of traffic - someone from here had to be from his class, right? ~*Winter*~
Creed dragged himself along the sidewalk, making his way towards U.A. High. It was his first day there, so he didn't want to be late. Unfortunately, he had stayed up until 5am watching random videos on his phone, so he knew there was no way that he could sleep and be up on time to make it to school."At this point..." he mumbled to himself, "I'll have been up 26... no, 27 hours? Can't remember now. Ten hours to go..." Creed had pulled longer hours before, but this was the first time that he actually expected to do something later on. U.A. classes were known for their wildly varied methods of teaching. Creed expected something that he definitely didn't think he was awake enough for. From a couple blocks away, Creed could hear a loud cheering coming from U.A., as if a large group was saying something, although he couldn't quite make out the words. But it propelled Creed to try to hurry to class."Shoot... Am I late? It sounds like things are starting already!" Creed placed a few launch pads and began bouncing quickly over rooftops. Landing on a building or two to refresh his jumps, he could see the school getting closer and closer. In what felt like almost a record time, Creed bounded over the school gates, and made a landing.Correction, he almost made a landing. As his feet touched the ground, the ground seemed to shake, and threw him straight off balance. He fell right over and smacked his face into the pavement. "Ahhhh, this didn't happen..." he murmured into the ground, trying to ignore the blunder that he just performed. The smell of iron caught his nose. "Oh, man, that's blood, isn't it?" He didn't actually see the blood, with his face in the ground, but that what he associated the smell with. He wasn't really hurt otherwise, although he was still horrendously tired, and barely had the energy to get up. "I wonder if homeroom could be moved outside..." Super Chaos Sonic
"WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA STUDENTS!RISE ABOVE...""MAX OMEGA!" The students shouted in unison on this, well...almost all of them anyway. In truth, Ichiro was just standing there with his headphones on his head, hands stuffed in his pockets. Of course it was normal for students to be psyched for school...especially if they had powers. But for Ichiro, he didn't see much of a reason to be all psyched for this. Not at this moment anyway. -BGM- As the students started moving away from the huge group blob, Ichiro slung his bag over his shoulder and proceeded to make his way to Class 1-A. Seems like everyone is in a much bigger hurry than I thought... he thought, strolling into the U.A. building, just following the flow of all the traffic. Still, he could to a point understand why. They all had powers, these Quirks...this would be the only time they were happy about being at school. Ichiro slowly removed his headphones, letting them rest around his neck, in order to see if he could hear any other students talking about Class 1-A. However, to an extent, he wished he kept his headphones on. He paused a moment, hearing some chatter behind him. "Yeah, that's him." "No way...you're kiddin' me!" "Do I look it? That's the newbie who really messed himself up during the entrance exam." Ichiro knew they weren't trying to hide the fact that they were talking about him, but he finally sighed and kept walking. Guess I made more of an impact than I wanted... he thought, shaking his head as he held his right arm. The entrance exam, not something he wanted to think about...if it wasn't for Nurse Neko, he probably would've been still in recovery for his broken arm. Let's just hope today and go over without me using this stupid Quirk... Ichiro thought, moving a bit faster as he looked for Class 1-A.
Aix
"Wow, there's a lot of people. Everyone's a lot livelier than at my old school... Well it's to be expected," Asami muttered to herself. Her head bobbed back and forth as she took in her surroundings. With all the people rushing about and her careless manner, she inevitably bumped into someone. A small smile appeared on her face. "I wonder how Akio could have taken this, he always like peace and quiet. Just being bumped into like this would annoy him so much." Although she did not show it, she was quite excited. Everything around the school grounds looked fresh and new to her, tinted with promise. Her interest was strongly piqued. There were unique people with extraordinary abilities were all around her, and the massive state-of-the-art building before her—"I wonder how much this posh-looking building would have cost. Man, heroes are really rich." Things like "top hero" and the like which many of these students were aspiring about were concepts too remote to even come to her mind. She knew almost nothing of the famous heroes all her classmates used to talk about. Instead, she was focused on how much a successful hero could make. A knight-like figure caught her attention as he walked to the head of the students, and evidently he was someone important since he was wearing the flashiest outfit. Asami could only wonder. "Which medieval century did that guy walk out of?" "WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA STUDENTS!RISEABOVE...""MAX OMEGA!" Asami flinched as everyone else around her screamed at the top of their lungs. The crowd poured forward and she found herself being knocked around. She creased her eyebrows and decided to submit herself to the flow. Hopefully, she'll be able to make it to her classroom... somehow.
scooterulez
"Thanks for the help. Have a good day!" What seemed like an eternity waiting in line, walking out of the Academic Counseling Center was a huge relief, but it was more strenuous to the point knowing that he was no longer in Cali. The school uniform was so Japanese that Aaron wanted to wear his old clothes again, but nothing could be done since he was so far from home. Aaron stop in front of one of the many windows that decorate the school halls just to get the view of the surrounding community from 3 stories up. He can see many people coming into the school, some teachers and most being students. He was a total stranger to an entire community of Quirk users, but it felt great to be around so many Quirky individuals. As he took out his earbuds and wattage gauge, he tried to focus on his what the future holds in store for him here at UA. Being one of the only teens with quirks back home makes him more homesick than excited. He was in the Hero Class, a transfer student, and is probably a year or 2 older than everyone else in his class, many of whom may be coming from middle school. He checked his wattage to find he was still a little bit above his minimum of 11k, but that didn’t change anything to what he was to experience here. He continued to look outside while he plugged in his music, just wishing for a familiar scene, but not even the school can jog his mind. ""This school is so much bigger than San G. High. As a matter of fact, where am I to Class 1-A?"" He pulled out a campus map he got from the Counselor Center when the school bell rang, he had at least 10 minutes to find his class before it started. He started to make his way towards his class, passing by teachers and students with some showing their quirks. He could hear people shouting from below, maybe a pep-group getting new students excited like in his old school, and the building shook for a bit but died down after a few seconds. Going down the stairs, he can see posters scattered across the wall that expressed things like “School Spirit”, “Rules to Remember”, and such like things. He also saw a poster for the upcoming UA Sports Festival, which sent many doubts to fly through Aaron’s conscience just to freak him out. Shaking off the thoughts, he continued down the stairs. But still. . . 'I hope they cancel it this year. . .' The 2nd floor was filled to the brim of students getting to their first day of class. While praying to not shock anyone along the way, he inched his way towards his new classroom.
Dad
There was a soft slurping sound emerging from a small, white, porcelain cup, being tightly clasped in two strong hands across the teacher's lounge. Sitting in a fine leather arm chair, Dr. Atomic--or, Langley Faust--sipped his morning coffee. With one leg folded over the other, he lost himself in the luxurious aroma and the fine, bold taste of ristretto coffee. With a pinch of sugar and cream for taste. As the cup emptied, he stood up from his seat, and walked over to the large window that oversaw the entrance of U.A. His comrade and principal, Glory, had just arrived. And he'd begun the new semester's ritual. "WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA STUDENTS! RISE ABOVE..." "MAX OMEGA!" The students were always very proud of their school. It was an honor and a privilege to watch Glory conduct himself, and engage with students. Faust smiled as he looked over the entrance, and watched the students pour into the building. He played a mental game with himself, picking out freshman and determining their hero names. He kept it to himself, just for fun. He returned to a sink, where he washed and cleaned his porcelain cup, before drying it and sitting it atop a glass dish. Picking up his signature red coat, Faust threw it over his shoulders, and it clung to him snugly. He stretched his hands and fingers, and took a deep breath. He hadn't been this excited since--well, last year, at the start of the semester. Fresh young minds were easily influenced. He wanted to make sure he had the right influence on his students. "Will you surprise me this year, Class 1-A?" he asked aloud to no one, with a big smile. Faust plucked a buttered bagel from the staff table and removed its gravity, floating it up to eye level. Spinning the bagel, he left the teacher's lounge, and began excitedly looking among the students. As they encroached the second floor, Faust would nibble on his floating, spinning bagel, and bid good morning to the brightest heroes in the world. At U.A. VCR_CAT
((OOC: All dialogue in double quotations are spoken in english)) Mike was really pushing things down to the wire. He had only just had a few days to really get used to the town when he moved in, and missed the first train. Running past the front gates, Mike could see other students milling in and going into the school. ""good... doesn't look like... I'm too late yet..."" Mike panted, pausing just past the main gates to catch his breath. ""First day of classes and I'm already almost late."" Mike took the liberty to walk the rest of the way, passing by other students and overhearing some of their conversation as he did so. Tidbits about a "newbie" who messed up badly during the exam. Mike looked around and spotted another guy nearby with headphones on, and recognized him as the student that really messed up his arm during the exam. Mike breathed a sigh of relief. He had used his quirk too excessively during the exam, and the recovery team had to put him on an IV; he had exerted himself too much. As much as it sucked that someone was being labeled as the rookie that messed up in the exam, Mike was relieved that the attention wasn't focused on him. Mike began walking up the steps when the ground began to shake violently, sending him face-first towards the pavement. ""SHOOT!!"" Mike yelled, reflexively throwing out his arms in front of him and releasing a blast of bright, neon-green energy; propelling him back to a safe standing position, but finding himself gasping for breath. He just had to run a few blocks; he didn't need the extra exertion. "WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA STUDENTS! RISE ABOVE..." "MAX OMEGA!" Mike looked up and realized things were getting started already. he gripped his backpack and made for the stairs, but each step was made shaky and uneven thanks to the earthquake girl. Eventually he made it into the school, and had to squeeze his way into the crowd of students. Finally he broke free from the crowd, but couldn't get his bearings. "Hey, excuse me, do you know where Class 1-A is?" Mike asked the first person he could find, realizing that the person he was speaking to was the earthquake girl that had almost managed to trip him a few times. Yui
"WELCOME TO YOUR HERO ACADEMIA STUDENTS! RISE ABOVE...""MAX OMEGA!"She'd made it. Asuka was here at last, on time for the first day of school at U.A. after clearing the entrance exams. She could practically feel herself shaking. Not just the ground beneath her feet, but herself as well. Although she was happy to be here, Asuka was suddenly hit with a thought that was souring up the good atmosphere for her very quickly. Her Quirk. This was a school staffed by some of the greatest heroes the world knew; the principal was Glory himself! She felt like a black sheep. As she watched the wave of students pour into the building before her, she could vaguely imagine how things would go between her and other students. Would they call her a villain same as her mother? A spy? By the time she'd gotten ahold of herself, most of the students were already inside. All the better; she didn't want to be rubbing shoulders with people she didn't know. I'm here to be a hero! Making friends can wait if it has to. That thought in mind, Asuka started toward and into the school building. She'd studied the map intently when she first received it, and knew how to get to her class from here. As she continued along the way, she heard some chatter from a number of students. "Yeah, that's him." "No way...you're kiddin' me!" "Do I look it? That's the newbie who really messed himself up during the entrance exam." Asuka looked ahead to see...yep, that was him. Asuka didn't see him during the exam proper, but recognized him from what she'd heard. Short hair, spiky, all the things matched the description she'd heard about some boy that busted his arm up during the entrance exam. Fascinating. She knew there were Quirks out there with distinct drawbacks. Hers, for instance, dehydrated her if she made too many crystals too fast. But never had she heard of something flat-out breaking bones and the like. Asuka wanted to know more. And so, in that regard, Asuka rolled up her sleeves to her shoulders so they wouldn't get in the way, before creating a pair of crystals. At a glance, it looked as though she were flexing simply for the sake of it, until the pair of red gems slowly crawled out of her body. If there were people commenting on it, she wasn't listening. Instead, Asuka sent her crystals forward, directly in the boy's path to slow him down. As they moved through the air, the crystals made a smooth humming noise, stopping in front of the boy with just enough distance to give him time to stop and not walk face-first into them. If he tried to go around, Asuka would move her crystals to continue blocking his path, until she covered the short distance between the two of them. Once she was within arm's reach, Asuka firmly planted a hand on the boy's shoulder, as her crystals returned to her side, hovering just over her own shoulders. "I've heard you have an interesting Quirk," Asuka started matter-of-factly. "I would have preferred to get straight to class, but I'm curious. What type of Quirk could possibly damage the user as badly as I heard you did in the entrance exam?"Sayuri visibly flinched at the sound of the entire student body roaring up at once. It wasn't that she didn't expect the sound, but it was so loud, especially to her. Her wolf ears were ringing after the crowd went off like that. Sayuri reached into a bag hanging faithfully at her side, and pulled forth a sketchbook and pencil, staring intently at Principal Glory as he turned...and entered in front of the crowd of students heading indoors. Well, drawing Glory would have to come some other time. That's a shame. I wanted to get some more experience drawing people. That would have to wait apparently. She put her things back in her bag, and started inside, near the front of the crowd. Sayuri had made sure to get up early today, not out of interest in becoming a hero, but because she wanted to see how U.A. looked at sunrise. It was pretty impressive, to such an extent that she completely forgot to capture the moment on pencil and paper. It was also so impressive that Sayuri hadn't considered that she had to know where her class was in order to get there. Now met with the dilemma, she had to figure out where her class was. Which meant asking someone. Sayuri once again reached into her bag, this time procuring whiteboard, with an eraser and a red marker sitting in a specially-made slot in the top-left corner. She quickly jotted down some words with the marker before putting its lid back on, and prodding the back of the nearest person with the now-closed marker. A boy. Hopefully, he'd turn to face her. And if he did, she'd be there, holding up the whiteboard with the red words written on it. Where is class 1-A?
Mr. Hyde
As the students funneled into the large doors, they would be greeted by presumably noteworthy heroes directing the flows of traffic. Ino looked around, but it was hard for her to budge, seeing as all of the excitement around her had turned into a sort of mob mentality. Of course, some students barely payed any attention to the heroes, seeing as how they were blinded by the fact of almost being late, and the pure adrenaline of starting a new school year. Before any further damage could be done to the halls, someone could be heard taking a deep breath. "STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!" A voice rang out throughout the corridors through the school for a little more than five seconds, prompting the large wave of students to do just that. Ino could tell that her Quirk wasn't working, as she wasn't trembling from being excited. Ino looked above the crowd to notice a heroine, dressed in what seemed to be a police officers uniform, albeit was a pretty exaggerated uniform to say the least. There was no mistaking, it was the head of UA security, Lady Law! She adjusted her glasses and cleared her throat. "Students! We are all aware of your excitement for classes to start this year! But please refrain from running amok in the halls. First years, please go up the stairs and to take the hallway to the left to get to your classes! All other years, you should be ashamed of yourselves for letting the rush get back to you!" Her voice was stern, and she retreated back into the school with a look of disappointment. "DISMISSED!" At that moment, everyone's Quirks would return to them, Ino noticeably shaking once more. She pulled her hands close to her body, and smiled. "Up the stairs and to the left huh?! The perfect place for a hero such a me!" She was giddy, and she almost didn't notice that another student had tried to get her attention. "Hey, excuse me, do you know where Class 1-A is?" Ino looked at the boy quite strangely. His Japanese seemed a little off, so it was safe to say he was foreign. "Uh...didn't you just hear Lady Law? Or are you one of those weird def heroes...I assume you aren't deaf seeing as how you talked to me, so now I'm gonna assume that you just weren't listening to Lady Law, or you at least couldn't understand her." She shook her hand and placed her hands on her hips. "Up the stairs and to the left hallway you dingus! Sheesh...I guess I'll see you there then!" Ino pranced off with a smile on her face. Friend number one, check! Wait...she didn't even get his name...oh well! She would once she would seem him arrive to class. As she leaped up the stairs, and took that fated left, she saw the large plaque on the wall that read 1-A. She almost swelled up with tears as she slid the door clear open. She jumped through the opening, and laughed. She was the first one here! "Tch..." Or at least she thought she was. She noticed a creepy student, dressed in the same garbs as her, sitting in a chair in the back corner of the room. "You don't look like much...looks like they let anyone into UA these days." "W-w-w-well I passed with flying colors! I mean..not on the written p-p-portion, but you know what I mean!" The mug on this guy! It straight up annoyed Ino! He looked like he hadn't had sleep in days, yet he was the one being highly annoying! It was inconceivable. Friend number two, obtaine- "And don't go thinking we'll be friends...I'm not here to make any, I'm here to be a pro hero." He placed a hand under his chin while he stared out the window, watching the masses flood in. Was trash day so early in the week? "By the way, just so you don't talk to me again, and so you can inform the others when they're about to ask, my name is Gin Otoma...but please, never say my name." Ino hadn't noticed, but her fist had tightened into a ball. This kid really got on her nerves, but she would do just that and leave him alone. She went to a desk to sit at, and found one in the top right corner, nearest to the door. That way she could greet all those who walked by, and introduce herself! As she sat down, the other unoccupied desks surrounding her would vibrate with a low hum. Anyone who walked through those doors would be met with a, "Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!"
Super Chaos Sonic
"I've heard you have an interesting Quirk, I would have preferred to get straight to class, but I'm curious. What type of Quirk could possibly damage the user as badly as I heard you did in the entrance exam?" Ichiro was confused at first. One moment, he was stopped by floating crystals, then the next, some random girl planted her hand on his shoulder. He only stared at the girl for a moment, before finally processing the question she gave out. He looked down at the arm he was holding, before looking away suddenly. "It...it doesn't have a name yet." he slowly said, sighing some as he just wanted to head to class right now. "But...all it really does and is...is a stockpiler." Ichiro slowly moved some, already hearing Lady Law say her piece to most of the rowdy students. Though it was quite interesting that Lady Law's Quirk happened to have a sort of negation effect on the other Quirks. H-Heh...jeez. I'm just lucky I wasn't hitting anything at that point... he thought, before shaking his head. On second thought, I don't think it would do as much damage as my Quirk... Nevertheless, Ichiro made his way up the stairs as instructed and made it to the hallway, before seeing the sign over one door: 1-A. That was it, his little classroom that he'd be in under. Fantastic... Upon walking in however... "Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!" Ichiro was silent for a few moments, just standing in the doorway, until he sighed and waved a little. "Ichiro...Ichiro Adachi." he said, before also making a note of the quite frightening young man sitting in the classroom with Ino. It was obvious that he needed to stay away from him...just the appearance of him looked like bad news. He slowly sat down at a desk and pulled out his phone, deciding to send a quick text to his brother, Rei, to let him know everything was still alright. ...He worries too much...but still, I wish I was as cool as him. Really hope that job interview for him goes well. he thought, texting away before putting his phone back into his pocket.
~*Winter*~
Seiko managed to find her way to the U.A. campus. It wasn't particularly hard; she memorized how to get there from the time she took the entrance exam. Without a Sensory Shift target, she bumped into at least fifteen other people. As she approaced the gates, she felt a rumble in the ground, which sounded like a large group of people cheering. This rumble was followed by what felt like an actual earthquake, almost causing Seiko to fall over. Regaining her composure, she took her first step into U.A.It was then that she made a realization. 'Um, I don't actually know where my class is...' she thought to herself. True, she had been here before, but she had only been to few places in the building. And none of those places were Class 1-G. She hesitated before entering the building. She could feel a massive rush of students both in the building and filing around her. If she entered carelessly, she'd find herself being pushed around and trampled. Of course, she couldn't stay out here either. With a deep breath, she passed through the huge doorway. Carefully maneuvering between the footsteps she felt, she made her way up the hallways towards the auditorium. 'If I make it there, I might be able to find a teacher,' she reckoned. However, on her way up the hallway, she bumped into someone who was standing still. It wasn't like Seiko didn't notice the person at all; they seemed to be yelling something. Seiko only felt the vibrations through the air, but since she was more focused on feeling for footsteps, she didn't pay it any heed. The person seemed to be a female, and Seiko put her finger on their forehead to create a link. Looking at herself, and not knowing who she just linked with, she asked if she could take her to Class 1-G.After about a minute of being lazily sprawled out on the ground, Creed finally made the decision to get up. Almost all the students had made their way inside the building at this point, and if he hung around any longer, he'd probably be late. He stood up and began making his way towards the school. Inside, the hallways were beginning to clear up as the other students made their way to their respective classes. Creed felt that he had only about three minutes to find Class 1-A. He wiped his face on his sleeve, leaving a stain of dirt and a little bit of blood. 'No time to go to the nurse,' he thought. U.A.'s resident nurse was partially a cat. Creed had already interacted with her before during the entrance exam, after he accidentally sprained his foot when he mistimed a jump. She healed his foot rather easily, but he sneezed his lungs out for the next ten minutes. He made his way up the stairs towards class. When he told his father that he was in Class 1-A, his father began reminiscing about his days as a U.A. student, and absorbed almost three weeks of Creed's time. Yearbooks, memorabilia, and all sorts of school gear were all that Creed saw during that entire time, and any free time was full of stories from his father's time. Velocity was insanely proud of his son, and constantly gave him tips and advice on how to have a good time at the school. And of course, Creed had learned almost the entire layout of the building from his father. He entered the large door labelled "1-A," and made his way inside. Pretty much the entire class, save the teacher, were sitting at their desks or talking amongst each other. Creed's face was still a bit messed up from hitting the pavement, with a scrape across his forehead and a little bit of blood left under his nose."Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!"A girl sitting directly next to the door greeted him with more sunshine than someone should have before 2pm. Creed barely payed attention to the greeting, hardly noticing her name, but noticed something else about her. This girl was shaking. Not like a nervous shake, but just literally vibrating like a cell phone. These vibrations were going through the floor and making other desks move a little. Creed remembered the shaking outside that ruined his landing. "I'm gonna call you Cell Phone, since you keep buzzing like one. Mind if I ask what your Quirk is?" he asked, taking the seat next to her.
VCR_CAT
Mike "Uh...didn't you just hear Lady Law? Or are you one of those weird def heroes...I assume you aren't deaf seeing as how you talked to me, so now I'm gonna assume that you just weren't listening to Lady Law, or you at least couldn't understand her." The girl seemed to be scolding Mike, who simply rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. "I- Well, I just got here- and..." Mike started to reply, but was soon cut off. "Up the stairs and to the left hallway you dingus! Sheesh...I guess I'll see you there then!" The girl then pranced off and practically ran up the stairs before Mike even knew who he was talking to. "Wait, are you in the same..." Mike paused as she rounded the corner. ""...class?"" Up the stairs and to the left, that was more or less where Mike needed to go then. He climbed the steps and walked down the hall, keeping an eye on each class door until he finally found 1-A. A few students had already shown up, as was the girl that he had gotten directions from. "Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!" She greeted with a chipper attitude to a student ahead of Mike. The two kept talking, and Mike slipped past them and set down his bag beside a desk around the middle of the room. So far so good; it didn't look like the teacher was even here yet. scooterulez
3 doors from the stairs lay Aaron’s classroom for the year, Class 1-A. Swallowing his nerves, he stepped into class not knowing what to expect this year. "Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!" The unexpected vibrations coming from Ino shot through Aaron's earbuds causing him to stumble and hit his head on the door frame. “I’m okay. . .I think?” After getting up, he could tell he was not the first one to arrive, even though arriving half an hour earlier than those who came ten minutes til. There were a plethora of desks to take, but picking the wrong one could be disastrous later in the future; at least that is what his parents told him. He took a spot right in the second row in the middle next to some other student. The back felt more of a privilege of being popular, but the front was more for nerds or such like people. However, even just sitting there listening to the other students around him, something felt off with the presence of at least one student. Not to catch attention to himself, he casually looked around the room, his eye caught the boy in the back corner. He couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but he had the feeling of “I’m going to kill everyone if I get the chance” look. Shaking it off, Aaron turned back to the front of the room to see a few other students walking in. His head still stung from the potential fatal fall, putting his head on his desk felt refreshing from the cold radiating from it. ‘Please, end my misery cold desk.’
👀 REP 👀
Isami felt something prodding him in the back. Turning around, his eyes were met with a rather short girl - his eyes lighting up when he notice the ears on the girl's head - was she also a Druid? "Hello there." He waved at her before noticing the object in her hands. It seemed to be a whiteboard, and in bright red it said 'Where is class 1-A?'. He was a bit confused by the whiteboard - was she mute? Maybe she was also deaf? He couldn't be quiet sure, but before he could think of how to respond to her question, a voice rang out throughout the corridors through the school for a little more than five seconds. He flinched at the loud voice and noticed that the girl had also flinched. "Definitely not deaf." He thought to himself as the lady in the police uniform went on to tell them where their class was. "...what she said." He simply remarked, pointing to the stairs they had to take. "Oh right! I should introduce myself, since we're gonna be classmates and all." He stuck out his right hand to greet the girl. "My name is Isami Kobayashi! It's nice to meet you!" He would wait there for the girl to either shake his hand or write out her name on her whiteboard. Regardless of if she did or not, there was one thing that was certain - they didn't have much time to stand around if they wanted to get to class on time. "We should probably get going up those stairs; would be a shame if we were late on the first day." He made his way up the stairs the lady had pointed to earlier. . . . As . "Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!" He waved at the girl before turning to the clock. He had made it on time, which was good. Relieved, he turned back to the girl that had greeted him. "Hello Ino. My name Isami. Nice to meet you too!" He extended his hand for a handshake. Then, he looked around for a seat to nab. Almost as if it was calling to him, Isami's attention was brought to the desk right next to a window - a beam of sunlight shining on it. Excitedly, he took the shining seat - it was 2 seats away from the front, and it was perfect. He turned his head towards the window and let his mind wander. Yui
"It...it doesn't have a name yet. But...all it really does and is...is a stockpiler." A stockpiler? But of what? As Asuka opened her mouth to further inquire about the boy's Quirk, her crystals suddenly dropped to the floor as a booming voice resounded through the hallway, bringing the rush of students to a halt. "STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!" That was...Lady Law! She'd heard about her! U.A. really went all-out with the staffing, didn't they? The impression that only the greatest of heroes got to work here made Asuka feel a lot safer about studying here, but at the same time, made her anxious. With any luck, she figured, the latter feeling would pass with time as she established that she wasn't just defined by some unlucky heritage. "Students! We are all aware of your excitement for classes to start this year! But please refrain from running amok in the halls. First years, please go up the stairs and to take the hallway to the left to get to your classes! All other years, you should be ashamed of yourselves for letting the rush get back to you! DISMISSED!" ...a stockpiler, is it? Asuka thought about it a bit more as she regained the ability to use her Quirk, lifting her crystals off the ground to return them to their previous position just above her shoulders. She turned to ask the stockpiler boy about it in greater detail, but it seemed that at some point during her musings, he'd already gone ahead to the classroom as per Lady Law's instructions. She'd have to ask about it later, presuming she didn't get to see it in action during class. Asuka followed the directions given as well, not that she'd needed them. She went up the stairs, to the left, and into the room labeled 1-A. And then... "Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!" "Asuka Ku--" Asuka cut herself mid-introduction. "Just call me Asuka." It wasn't until Asuka sat down in the seat behind Ino that she noticed...the girl was vibrating. Not shaking, like she were nervous, just...vibrating. And she was causing the desks immediately around her to vibrate as well. Asuka tried paying it no mind, reaching into the school bag at her side and pulling out a pencil, then setting it down on the side of the desk. The vibrations in the desk caused the pencil to slide along the surface, falling off the desk and onto the floor. It was mildly frustrating. Asuka reached down to pick up her pencil, then turned to face the girl behind her. "Whatever you're doing with your Quirk, please try to rein it in a little bit." Asuka politely - but sternly - requested."STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!" Sayuri flinched at the sudden outburst of voice. Her ears were still ringing from the "MAX OMEGA!" earlier, and now this. This school will make me go deaf someday, won't it? A sudden and acute headache was forming from the repeated loud noises as Lady Law went on to explain where classrooms were. That answered her question quite well actually, and the boy she'd asked didn't even have to answer the question. How convenient! If only it could be done a bit more quietly, though. "...what she said. Oh right! I should introduce myself, since we're gonna be classmates and all. My name is Isami Kobayashi! It's nice to meet you!" Sayuri took a brief moment to erase the question she'd previously written, before writing her name down on the board and turning it around again to show the boy, apparently named Isami. Sayuri Sasaki, it read, with an arrow pointing upward toward the girl's head. With her name being established, she put her marker in its slot and reached out with a free hand to shake Isami's. He'd likely notice the paw-like pad on her palm during the handshake. Handshakes and introductions done with, Isami gave a rather practical and fairly obvious suggestion as each student's hand returned to their respective side. "We should probably get going up those stairs; would be a shame if we were late on the first day." That much wasn't worth writing on the whiteboard for and erasing everything just to write that she agreed. Instead, Sayuri simply nodded, following him up the stairs and into 1-A. And once they were there... "Hello fellow 1-A classmate! My name is Ino Todoya! Nice to meet you!" An enthusiastic greeting had been handed out by a vibrating girl. This wouldn't have been so bad normally, but Sayuri was still reeling back from the "MAX OMEGA!" and "STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!" that had happened in short succession. It was now officially a headache. Isami went on to introduce himself, and Sayuri did the same, holding up the whiteboard that had yet to be erased, bearing her name and an arrow pointing up to her. She didn't want to sit near this noisy girl. She wanted to sit away from her, as much as possible. Like...by the window. Where Isami had also sat. How convenient. She could sit in front of the classmate she met and was introduced to, and also sit away from the noisy vibrating girl. As such, Sayuri opted for the seat in front of Isami; by the window, right behind the front row. And with that done, Sayuri erased her whiteboard, put it in her desk, and rested her forehead on the desk's surface. Is everyone in mainland Japan this loud? she wondered. Maybe I should have stayed home after all.
Dad
The halls were suddenly flooded with students. U.A. was practically bursting at the seams, as the students clamored for their classrooms. There was complete and utter chaos, as senior students and freshmen collided. Thankfully, there was always one who could reorganize and restructure any sort of destructive event with simply the sound of her voice. Lady Law. "STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP! "Students! We are all aware of your excitement for classes to start this year! But please refrain from running amok in the halls. First years, please go up the stairs and to take the hallway to the left to get to your classes! All other years, you should be ashamed of yourselves for letting the rush get back to you! DISMISSED!" And with that, things were operating smoothly once again. Thanks to Lady Law, freshmen filed neatly into their classrooms, and seniors scurried away, secretly judging the newbies behind their backs. In the meantime, it was time for other heroes to make their appearances! As Langley passed senior students in the hallway, he greeted them with handshakes, high fives, and big smiles. Others he put into headlocks, for clowning around in his class. But now, he was going to present himself to class 1-A, as their Hero Strategy instructor. He whistled a lively tune as he marched down the hall to his classroom, where it was already buzzing with activity. Many different voices--some excited, some dull, some stern--let him know that he was in for another jam packed semester. And he was looking forward to it. As he stepped into the classroom, Langley said nothing, but walked quietly over to his desk. He couldn't contain himself, grinning from ear to ear. He observed his students one by one, even the grisly one who seemed to sulk at the world in the corner at the window. Langley was happy to have a classroom filled with so much potential. Clearing his throat at last, Langley introduced himself as the room quieted down to tolerable levels. "Greetings students. My name is Mr. Langley Faust. You may know me as Dr. Atomic," he began. "Welcome to U.A. You should be proud that you passed such a rigorous entrance exam, and were accepted into the most prestigious of Hero Academies in all of Japan." He approached the center of the room. "While each of your Quirks are unique, and defines you in your own way, there is one thing no Quirk can assist you with." Langley quickly turned his back to his students, and jerked back around with a hop, landing on his feet. "Verbal pop quiz! This is your first strategy assignment! Tell me something interesting about yourself or an experience you've had in sixty seconds or less. Your creativity, ability to think on your feet, and attention are being prepared. Ms. Sasaki, I'll give you an extra forty-five seconds because you'll be writing everything out. And the first person to impress us will be. . . " Langley's eyes wandered the room, and settled on the desks nearest the rear door. "Isami-kun!" he said. "But there is one more thing that you will be enduring on this pop quiz." Langley stood up straight, and pointed a finger directly at Isami. "During each student's verbal pop quiz, they will be subject to zero gravity!" And at his words, Isami would notice himself slowly feeling noticeably lighter by the second. "Are you ready, Isami?" Langley asked, with a big smile on his face. Isami was floated into the air, slowly being raised against his will. "Focus! Annnnnnnnnnd. . . go!"
👀 REP 👀
"Man...the weather is really nice today..." He thought to himself, staring out of the window as the room started filling with more and more people. Preoccupied with a rather bright blue bird that was flying outside, he hadn't noticed the teacher walk into the room until he spoke. "Greetings students. My name is Mr. Langley Faust. You may know me as Dr. Atomic," Isami slowly turned his head towards the teacher, whom was known as Langley. He let out a yawn before reaching into his bag to get his materials. "Welcome to U.A. You should be proud that you passed such a rigorous entrance exam, and were accepted into the most prestigious of Hero Academies in all of Japan." Isami raised his head from under his desk, having gotten everything he needed for now - a bright orange pencil and a purple notebook with stickers of a snakes on the cover. "I wonder if that bird is still there..." He turned his head back to the window, letting out a small sigh when he couldn't find the bird again. "Verbal pop quiz!" Isami jumped as Langley. "Right. Still in class." He turned his head back to class. "This is your first strategy assignment! Tell me something interesting about yourself or an experience you've had in sixty seconds or less. Your creativity, ability to think on your feet, and attention are being prepared. Ms. Sasaki, I'll give you an extra forty-five seconds because you'll be writing everything out. And the first person to impress us will be. . . " The second that Langley's eyes met Isami's he knew what was about to happen..."Isami-kun!" "Y-Yes." He responded, getting up from his seat slowly. "But there is one more thing that you will be enduring on this pop quiz." Langley stood up straight, and pointed a finger directly at Isami. "During each student's verbal pop quiz, they will be subject to zero gravity!" As Isami made his way towards the front of the class, he felt himself getting lighter. By the time he made his way to the front he was basically floating. "Are you ready, Isami?" The snake boy turned his head - at this point his feet were well off the ground. "I'm ready." Se said, floating upside down. He was rotating slowly about without even a shred of control. "Focus! Annnnnnnnnnd. . . go!" "Oh, alright, uhh..." He place his hand on his chin, thinking. "Things that make me interseting...well..." Isami was getting a little dizzy due to the rotating, although he wasn't going that fast. In a way, it reminded him of the times he went flying with his sister "...wait that's it!" He tried his best to stop himself from rotating before responding to the quiz question. "My name is Isami, and um...I'm a snake druid," He started nonchalantly, his attempts of staying still being foiled as he started rotating forward again. "Which makes be like...part snake I guess?...Oh! I can do stuff like..." As he finished his rotation and returned to the position he was at before, the other students would notice that Isami looked different. His body was much of the same, but his head seemed to have been replaced with one of a large snake. "...thisssss!" The orange scales on his new head glistened as he continued to rotate in the air, having given up on trying to stop. "I have a ssssissssster who became a hero recently too....she's like me, but with birdsss instead of sssnakes." As he continued to rotate, his head returned back to the head other would be more familiar with. "I dunno if you've heard of Red Falcon but that's her...Uh, Faust-sensei..." He turned to the teacher to the best of his abilities. "...can you please put me down? I'm starting to get a little dizzy."
Aix
Asami TachibanaLocation: Classroom 1-AInteracting with: Everyone with eyes Asami got lost. As it happens, she followed a dude who looked like they were in first year and found herself before a third year classroom and had no clue where to go from there until an incredibly loud voice screamed that the first years were to be upstairs. The classroom she was supposed to go to was on the other side of the building from where she was. And so, she was late. On the first day. "Ah, onii-san would totally scold me if I ever told him I was late on the first day... scratch that he'd yell at me if I was late regardless of whether it was the first day or not," muttered Asami as she approached her classroom. She peaked in through the window on the door. "Hmm... perhaps I can sneak in. No one will notice a detached pair of shoes walk in while snake boy is busy doing aerials." Turning as much of herself invisible as she could down to her lower legs, she quietly opened the door and started walking towards an empty desk at the back. Mr. Hyde
Ino got to introduce herself to most of her new classmates, and the few that escaped it would soon find themselves pinned up against a shaking wall. They would be forced to repeat her name over and over, begging for forgiveness. She put a hand to her mouth, and chuckled softly underneath her breath, as would some sort of deviant. "Nyohohoho..." But to the one's who took an actual interest in her, she immediately responded. "I'm gonna call you Cell Phone, since you keep buzzing like one. Mind if I ask what your Quirk is?" With a flustered look, Ino slammed a hand onto her desk. "That's your first question to a classmate?! What's your Quirk?! How careless, how cold! Is this what society has boiled down to in this day and age!? You might as well ask what kind of underwear I'm wearing today!" She pouted, and turned away with a huff, only to turn back with puffy cheeks. "They have kittens on them..." She blushed, as she realized she had answered the wrong question, prompting her vibrations to hit the fritz. She tried to rewind, but time manipulating quirks didn't exist...she would have to live this down. Swallowing her pride, she turned down her vibrations. "A-a-a-as you can see, I vibrate! My body's molecules just kinda...rattle around and shake stuff. It's pretty versatile...top hero material kind of quirk. At least my mom says so...So that's what I'm gonna be!" She then pointed a finger at the boy and smirked. "With that being elaborated, what the hell kind of underwe-I mean, what kind of Quirk do you have?!" The girl who had introduced herself as Asuka had dropped her pencil. With her turning around, it seemed as if Ino had annoyed the girl. "Whatever you're doing with your Quirk, please try to rein it in a little bit." "EEP~" Ino said, sitting down in her chair, and covering her head in the process. The look in that girls eyes was a tad frightening. If there was one emotion that could stop Ino's vibrations cold in their boots, it was fear. Ino looked up from the desk to notice the girl's hovering crystals in the air. It almost warranted a poking and prodding, but that would probably just annoy Asuka more. "I-I-if I stop vibrating, can you be my friend?" She asked with a slight wimper and smile. It wasn't too long after that, that one of the teacher's bursted into the room with a verbal pop quiz. The boy who introduced as Isami was the target of the task, and started to hover in the air. "Whoooooooah~! I hope I'm next! Gravity Quirks are so cool!" Isami then demonstrated his Quirk, which weirded Ino out to see the boy's cute face turn into that of a scaly nightmare. At the mention of Red Falcon, Ino slapped her hands against her cheeks. "Whoah! The Red Falcon?! She's like...super famous! Her Quirk is so cool, you can fly and stuff and do whatever you want." Her eyes became a bit sly once she remembered she was looking at a boy with a snake head. "It's strange that a family would have two different animal druid's in their family. I hear that most druid's just pass down their traits...inheriting a snake shapeshift must be pretty underwhelming compared to your sister..." At the realization of what she said, she immediately apologized. "Sorry Isami-kun!" Before Mr. Faust could start making Ino spin in the air, the classroom door opened one more time. "Langley....I hope you aren't antagonizing my students..." The man looked at the hovering snake child. His face turned bright red, but he didn't yell. Instead, he pinched the bridge of his nose to the point where the veins on his hands were entirely visible. "Langley...this is the second year in a row...how many times must I tell you not to interrogate the new students!" A pile of sand gathered up behind the man, as he walked up to Langley and placed a hand on his shoulder. "Shouldn't you be harassing the faculty instead of the next generation of heroes? Either way...you are unwanted here." The man sighed, and cleared his throat. With a monotone voice, as if he had said the same thing over and over the week before, he finally spoke in front of the class. "Ignore him. There is no pop quiz...you can all take a breath of relief. After all, I am the actual homeroom teacher of 1-A, Takeda Suna. It's a pleasure to meet all of you." He paused, before giving off a slight smirk. "Well...at least the ones who will remain after my test..." A quick vibration shot through the desks of the classroom. "Wait! You said there wasn't going to be a pop quiz!" Ino rang out, with her hand raised. "Oh...I did didn't I?" A sly smile traced Mr. Takeda's lips. "Well...I didn't say anything about a test, now did I?" He pointed to the door, looking over the ten students who sat before him. "Meet in the gym...we're going to see if you're worthy of being heroes." In the back corner of the class, a slight creepy chuckle resonated to the front, coming from Gin of course. "Heh...thinning the herd so early? Looks like I'll be the only one left after today." "We'll see, you creep!" Ino said, jumping from her seat. She looked to Asuka and nodded once. "Let's do our best!" After assembling in the gym, a few courses could be seen set and sprawled among the hardwood floor. Mr. Takeda could be seen standing next to a large block of iron with a handle at the top. In big white letters, the front of the block said 1 ton. The same smirk was still sprawled out across the teacher's face as he pointed towards the large, heavy block. "I don't care how, or what you do...but I want you to budge this block somehow. One milometer is all that will suffice...but if you can't...It won't look as if it'll help you pass this test. You might as well give up if you can't even do this simple task. What hero can't move 1 ton!" Ino took a large gulp, before looking among the crowd of students to see who would attempt the task first.
VCR_CAT
Mike A teacher entered the class, and Mike was quick to assume this was his home-room teacher. He introduced himself as Langley, or Dr. Atomic. Mike hadn't heard of him before, and was beginning to wonder if he was at a disadvantage not really knowing the landscape of pros at U.A. or really just Japan in general. And the first person to impress us will be. . . " Mike began to sweat. Most other students were excited at the prospect of talking about themselves and probably had a lot of things they could say. Meanwhile, Mike was panicking on the spot. "Isami-kun!" Mike breathed a sigh of relief. Isami began to explain his family, his sister as a pro, and gave a bit about his quirk as well. However, Mike wasn't off the hook yet, as he needed to think of something to say and fast. ""Why does every teacher just gotta love putting people on the spot like this..."" Mike grumbled under his breath as he continued to think. As he stewed in his own thoughts, he heard a quiet click as the door opened. Mike looked up to see who it was, but didn't see anyone. Then the door quietly closed by itself. Was that a student? he thought to himself. Mike's attention was immediately thrown elsewhere as Ino continued to make a slight ruckus in the class, in more ways than one, including some accidental rudeness at Isami's direction. Mike was beginning to realize that Ino wasn't actually a mean person, but just lacked any sort of filter. "Langley....I hope you aren't antagonizing my students..." Mike looked over and spotted a much less enthusiastic-looking teacher standing at the door. It's a pleasure to meet all of you." Mike breathed another sigh of relief. At least now he didn't need to think of something interesting to say about himself. "Well...at least the ones who will remain after my test..." Nevermind. Didn't seem like Mike was going to get a break at all. "Meet in the gym...we're going to see if you're worthy of being heroes." In the back corner of the class, a slight creepy chuckle resonated to the front. Mike looked over his shoulder and spotted a very surely-looking student laughing at the prospect. "Heh...thinning the herd so early? Looks like I'll be the only one left after today." The surely student spoke out. Mike narrowed his eyes. He figured that he had gotten away from people like this when he left middle school, that the higher standards at U.A. would prevent people like this getting in. Seems like he was wrong. Ino made her own retort back at him, but Mike decided to stay quiet for now, continuing to glare to at the student known as Gin. The students collectively got up and made their way to the gym. The gym was laid out with a variety of obstacle courses and other equipment. In the middle of the room was a large, one tonne block of iron. ""Are they sure that should be on hardwood floor?"" Mike wondered aloud. "I don't care how, or what you do...but I want you to budge this block somehow. One milometer is all that will suffice...but if you can't...It won't look as if it'll help you pass this test. You might as well give up if you can't even do this simple task. What hero can't move 1 ton!" Mr. Takedo explained. Mike heard an audible gulp nearby and spotted Ino. "Hey, your quirk is vibration, right?" Mike asked Ino, tapping her on the shoulder. "You got this no problem!" Mike turned his attention to the teacher and raised his hand. Being put on the spot in class he didn't appreciate, but something as simple as a physical exam he felt much more confident in. "Sir I'd like to go first!" Mr. Takedo looked over. "Michael Rosenfeld, right? You're up." Mike walked over and put as much distance between himself and the block as he could. ""It's just a block. No problem."" Mike took a few deep breaths and swung his arms a bit before staring down the block. Then, he broke out at a sprint. Running straight forward, he bent his legs more on one step and sprung into a jump, a burst of neon-green energy exploding at his launch point and propelling him much faster than a normal jump. Shifting his body into a flying kick with both legs, Mike's feet impacted against the block and there was a second explosion of green energy at where he hit the block. Mike rebounded off the block, trying to land on his feet but stumbling and landing on his rear instead, skidding backwards. The block itself had moved, too. Rather, it had tilted forward from the force of Mike's hit, before slamming down onto the floor. Mike was successful in flipping the block forward, technically moving it more than a millimeter. Mike got up onto one knee, breathing heavily. ""YES!"" Mike proclaimed, pumping one fist at his accomplishment. The nice, hardwood floor, however, looked a lot worse for wear. Hopefully the teacher had taken this into consideration when he asked the students to move a one-tonne block of iron.
~*Winter*~
"That's your first question to a classmate?! What's your Quirk?! How careless, how cold! Is this what society has boiled down to in this day and age!? You might as well ask what kind of underwear I'm wearing today!" The girl practically exploded at Creed. Hardly listening to her answer, as he could tell it wasn't what he asked, Creed could only wonder how in the world this girl could possibly have this much energy. 'Well,' he reminded himself, 'she probably slept last night.'"They have kittens on them..." Creed stopped, and backpedaled. Did this girl just describe her underwear to him? Creed simply stared at Ino as the image of her floated around in his mind. His nose started to bleed once again."A-a-a-as you can see, I vibrate! My body's molecules just kinda...rattle around and shake stuff. It's pretty versatile...top hero material kind of quirk. At least my mom says so...So that's what I'm gonna be! With that being elaborated, what the hell kind of underwe-I mean, what kind of Quirk do you have?!" Breaking himself away from less-than-proper thoughts, he answered the buzzing girl's question. "I can launch things into the air, basically." Creed was never good at explaining what his quirk did exactly. He couldn't really simplify it in a concise way. So while "launching things into the air" wasn't an inaccurate statement, there was more to it than that. Creed decided to demonstrate by creating a launch pad that was about level with the desk, and dropped a pencil on top of it, with the tip facing directly upwards. The pencil was ejected straight into the ceiling, lodging itself almost completely into the tiles. "Fun to mess with. I can jump off them too." One of the teachers, who looked like a first or second generation hero by age alone, had made his way into the classroom and introduced himself. "You may know me as Dr. Atomic," he said. 'Never heard of him,' Creed thought. Probably because the man was well before Creed's time, and could easily pass for it too. With his mind still somewhat focused on the Energizer Bunny's earlier comment, he looked on with a sort of daze as the homeroom teacher used his powers to make another student float away. Except, as it turned out, that wasn't the homeroom teacher. "Shouldn't you be harassing the faculty instead of the next generation of heroes? Either way... you are unwanted here." He told off the man who may or may not have had a Ph.D with such a monotone and dry attitude. Creed felt a slight hope that he might be able to catch a nap if the actual homeroom teacher was like this. But as he rested his head on the desk, he heard some unpleasant words:"Meet in the gym... we're going to see if you're worthy of being heroes."..."I don't care how, or what you do... but I want you to budge this block somehow. One millimeter is all that will suffice... but if you can't... It won't look as if it'll help you pass this test. You might as well give up if you can't even do this simple task. What hero can't move one ton?" Creed somehow mustered up the strength to drag himself to the gym. He didn't want to get dropped from the class on the first day, after all. But he was getting to a point where he needed to stay awake, and figure out how to move a two thousand pound chunk of metal. Under normal circumstances, he'd probably be able to make it budge without his quirk. But as he was at the moment, there was too much fatigue to be able to even lift another person. He had plopped down on the floor towards the front of the class and was sitting a couple feet away from the girl that seemed to like kittens. He could feel slight vibrations emanating from her, and it kept him a little bit alert. Fortunately, he wasn't going first. Another student named Mike volunteered with a lot of confidence. "He's probably got a Quirk that's suited for this," he muttered under his breath. He watched the other student make his performance, and jump at the block with a bright green flash. The block had been knocked forward, and was falling onto its side. As the block fell, Creed hatched an idea, he hopped up and stood with his feet on the ground. Quickly, he placed a near completely opaque launch pad underneath the block before it hit the ground. If he could get this done now, he could possibly be able to squeeze in a quick nap in the back of the crowd."Alright, I'm up. Thanks for the help, my dude." He put his arm around Mike's shoulder and gave him a thumbs up. Creed didn't have to do much at this point. His launch pad was set, so all he had to do was let the block interact with it and it should jump in the air a bit. Creed was way too tired to even try to do the math accurately, though. It was too much effort to quickly determine how strong he needed the panel to be before he had to place it underneath the block, so he just made it as strong as he could. He had no idea what kind of outcome it'd have. Upon the panel's activation, the block shot up straight into the air. It moved much farther and faster than he had expected. In what seemed like an instant, the block had broken through the ceiling of the gymnasium, leaving some dust and debris to fall over everyone. Most of the large debris was launched outwards at impact, and most of what fell on the rest of the class was harmless. Creed stared up at the gaping hole he had made. The only word he could mutter was "Whoops." The block stayed out of view for about 15 seconds, before coming into view through the hole he had created. Creed just watched as the one ton block plummeted back towards the gap in the ceiling. While Mike's attempt had left a decently sized dent, Creed's attempt was about to create a huge crater. All he could do was stare at it as he laughed about how badly he overdid this. Once the block cleared the hole, it crashed to the floor in an instant. The impact sent debris flying everywhere, and the crash startled Creed and made him jump back. He was definitely wide awake now. He brushed himself off, took a bow, laughed a bit, and returned to the crowd. He didn't really feel the need to nap anymore, so he sat back down on the floor. He watched as the other students took their turns. One student managed to kick it across the room, while the student that was floating earlier had partially turned into a snake and hurt himself getting it to move. Another girl hit it repeatedly with some vaguely familiar crystals. Maybe it was something he saw on the news? He didn't really care enough to think that much about it. As he watched the other students, he felt vibrations from nearby getting stronger. He leaned closer to Ino and lightly tapped the side of her knee with the back of his hand. "Hey, Cell Phone, are you gonna go up anytime soon, or are you just going to keep buzzing over here?" He laughed a little (well, he exhaled more air than normal) as he scooted closer to attempt conversation. "I'm Creed, by the way. I think I forgot that." While he talked to Ino, another student out of the corner of his eye caught his attention. The student had a grim look on his face, more than someone who simply didn't want to be in school. 'That guy looks like a fun dude,' he thought. Creed definitely wanted to bug him later.
Dad
Langley quickly let Isami down and scurried away as the homeroom teacher arrived. "Foiled again!" he said in his most villainous impression. He slid towards the classroom windows, and stood on the ledge of the open air. "We will meet again, hero," he joked. Falling with his back towards the ledge, Langley fell, then proceeded to gently float down to the nurse's office, having a chuckle to himself. "I suppose my excitement was a bit much," he thought aloud. As he landed on the nurse's window ledge, he paused. There, in all her adorable glory, was Nurse Neko. Langley's heart fluttered, and he reached down from the window ledge to nab a rose from a bush below. Plucking it free of thorns, Langley knocked on the window, before letting himself in. He smoothly slid before her, landing in one of the sick beds. With his head propped up on his hand and a rose in his mouth, Langley greeted Nurse Neko. "Nurse Neko, my dear. Won't you cure me of my ailments?" he said with flexing eyebrows and suddenly slightly exposed chiseled chest. "I predict I'm sick with a case of. . . " he paused for dramatic effect. Using his Graviton Force, he flicked a single light switch from a distance, dimming the light over himself and Nurse Neko. "Love," he said, flexing his eyebrows again. Suddenly, by sheer force of will, Langley produced candles, scented with lavender, and dimmed the lights further, created soft music from thin air, all without moving a muscle. This was the power of attraction.
scooterulez
Aaron looked up from his desk to see the teacher walk in, and the vibe that Mr. Langley gave was egotistical and boastful. "Verbal pop quiz! This is your first strategy assignment! Tell me something interesting about yourself or an experience you've had in sixty seconds or less. Your creativity, ability to think on your feet and attention are being prepared.” Aaron was less inspired to do anything today than do some routine introduction in the air, but glad he wasn’t the first to go first. As he watched Isami fly around the classroom, another teacher walked in looking very annoyed about what Langley was doing. "Langley....I hope you aren't antagonizing my students. . .Langley...this is the second year in a row...how many times must I tell you not to interrogate the new students! Shouldn't you be harassing the faculty instead of the next generation of heroes? Either way...you are unwanted here." A sigh of disappointment ran over Langley as he walked out the room. "Ignore him. There is no pop quiz...you can all take a breath of relief. After all, I am the actual homeroom teacher of 1-A, Takeda Suna. It's a pleasure to meet all of you. Well...at least the ones who will remain after my test..." A test on the first day of class, not Aaron's typical school day from what he is used to, but this was a super school."Meet in the gym...we're going to see if you're worthy of being heroes."_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The gym here was very plain, but it looked somewhat better than any school gym he has ever been in. "I don't care how, or what you do...but I want you to budge this block somehow. One milometer is all that will suffice...but if you can't...It won't look as if it'll help you pass this test. You might as well give up if you can't even do this simple task. What hero can't move 1 ton!" The 1 ton block stared down the class with a feel of intimidation to scare the students. The first to go was Michael, and as he beat and pounded on the block, it almost seemed it wasn’t moving. After a minute of the flashing green, he managed to move the block. Another student walked up next to Michael congratulating him before taking his turn at the block. Aaron took note of Michael’s Quirk as being a close combat threat, however, he is just one of the many students here that can be potential rivals in this school. The next student’s quirk was un expected, to say the least, flinging the block through the ceiling like a tornado. It was in the air for a while before landing back down destroying the floor sending debris in all directions. “I’ll go next, Mr. Suna.” “Ahh, Aaron Strom, right? You were let in on a recommendation. Don’t let me down.” Aaron walked past Creed as he approached the 1-ton obstacle. ‘Alright, I have about 11K watts on me, so let’s input about 5k in the block, then another 2k in a kick.’ Taking his gloves off, Aaron put his hands on the block and focused on ensuring that the block got the needed electricity. Wasting no time, Aaron exerted electricity into the block causing it to levitate above the ground. Lifting off the ground was a feat of its own, however, he was not to be finished with mere parlor tricks. Focusing on his right leg, he gave a strong kick to the block sending out lightning bolts from the impact of the kick, causing the block to fly towards the wall smashing into it. “I hope that is to your liking Mr. Suna.” Looking back at the students, the students were in awe, but the student that gave off those bad vibes from before was very angry. ““What’s his deal?”” Aaron ran over to the block, still floating, and pushed it back towards the crater before sucking back in all his electricity, plopping it back to the ground. 👀 REP 👀
"Whoah! The Red Falcon?! She's like...super famous! Her Quirk is so cool, you can fly and stuff and do whatever you want." Isami turned his head towards the girl that had introduced herself when he got in - he believed her name was Ino. "Yeah, my sister is pretty amazing." He said, only admiration in his voice. "It's strange that a family would have two different animal druid's in their family. I hear that most druid's just pass down their traits...inheriting a snake shapeshift must be pretty underwhelming compared to your sister..Sorry Isami-kun!" Isami just smiled at the girl's comment. "It's fine, I get that a lot actually." He rubbed the back of his head, still floating around. "It's not as flashy, but it gets the job done." Just then, someone entered the room. "Langley....I hope you aren't antagonizing my students..." Isami turned his head to the voice as the new person entered the room. His students? Isami thought that Faust has his teacher. The two adults seemed to be discussing about stuff as Isami was quickly put to the ground. He had felt a bit dizzy before, but now that he wasn't spinning the effects were really hitting him. He didn't pay much attention to the people around him as he followed the crowd, clutching his dizzy head. They had made their way to the gym, where the students were told that by Suna that they were to move the one ton block using their quirks. Isami took a second to think about what to do before coming up with an idea. "I'll be right back, Suna-sensei." He spoke before making his way towards the restroom while the other students started making their attempts. When he returned from the restroom, he had become half snake, slithering along the ground on his much longer snake half. By the time he came back, the block had already been moved quite a bit - there was a crater on the ground with the block in it. He took a deep breathe before giving a full-swing of his orange tail at the block. Isami reeled back in pain as he hit the block, however, the block had budged slightly from the position it was before. "That should be good enough, right?" He turned to his teacher, a pained expression on his face, before returning to the students. He had decided to just stay the way he was now until they were done.
