Dova Posted April 16, 2017 Report Share Posted April 16, 2017 Rules:All Leaderboard rules applyFirst to 3 votes or most votes by deadline wins.All voters must elaborate on their votes or else the vote will be rejected.Both contestants have the right to refuse votes, but must explain why they don't accept it.Card C votes are allowed in case the voter thinks both cards don't deserve a vote but must elaborate on why he/she thinks so.Cards must be PM'd to me.Written cards are allowed.Remove any evidence of the card being made by you to ensure anonymityIn case a downtime or an emergency happens, the deadlines may be extended.Deadlines:The deadline for cards is 48 hours after challenge has been accepted.The deadline for votes is 96 hours (4 days) after cards have been posted.In case of a challenger failing to meet the above deadline without explanation, the challenger slot will open up again, at which point it becomes first-come-first-serve between the previous challenger's and new submissions.Rewards:The winner gets a rep from the loser.All voters get a rep for voting.Requirements:Create a non-WATER Fish-Type monster. [spoiler=Card A] That One Fish ✪✪✪ - WIND - Fish/Effect - 1100/1800 You can banish 1 card from your hand to Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "That One Fish" once per turn this way. If this card is Special Summoned: You can banish 1 Fish-Type monster from your Deck, except "That One Fish", and if you do, return this card to your hand. [spoiler=Card B] Dark Coelacanth ✪✪✪✪✪✪✪ - DARK - Fish/Effect - 2800/2200 Once per turn: You can discard 1 card, then target up to 2 of your banished DARK monsters; Special Summon them, but they cannot attack and their effects are negated. Moving on... ===Card A Oh look, Banisharks got a new toy to Rank 3 with (though one that doesn't really combo well with Wingtortoise because not on the field). At the very least, you can retrieve whatever you banished with stuff like "Fish and Swaps" and/or make Leviair to retrieve them later. But yeah, looking at the current lineup for them at present, not really seeing this card offer a lot of synergy for them; well, least going in-line with stuff like Skyorca, etc. Card B Was only a matter of time before this guy got a retrain. Not sure how often Chaos decks are seen nowadays (least in this meta), but yeah, guess you can grab them for Tribute/ED fodder to use again later for other summons, so that's pretty helpful. On a personal note, I would probably prefer something like Return from the Dark Dimension (or w/e that Trap that can SS banished DARKs is called), but this is fine. Protection effect also works, and again sets up the Graveyard for more summons. It keeps the original effect in mind to an extent, which is important. ====B gets vote.
