bury the year
[spoiler=Cards.] Japanese card is: Kefnet, God of ??? 2U Legendary Creature - God (Mythic) Flying, indestructible ~ cannot attack or block unless you have 7 or more cards in hand. 3U: Draw a card. You may return a land you control to its owner's hand. 5/5 Russian card is: Lay Bare the Heart 1B Sorcery (Uncommon) Target opponent reveals his or her hand. You choose a nonlegendary, nonland card revealed this way. That player discards that card. Italian card is: Prepared 1W Instant (Rare) Untap target creature you control. It gets +2/+2 and gains lifelink until end of turn. // Fight 3G Sorcery Aftermath (Cast this spell only from your graveyard. Then exile it.) Target creature you control fights target creature an opponent controls.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
Consuming Fervor excites me. Channeler initiate is the first pick card of the format, barring something like a funking jitte reprint.
bury the year
Channeler initiate is the first pick card of the format, barring something like a funking jitte reprint. I don't know about you, but Oketra's Monument seems like the bomb for me. Card is legit insane.
(GigaDrillBreaker)
I don't know about you, but Oketra's Monument seems like the bomb for me. Card is legit insane.Very good, arguably stronger, not a first pick. Locks you into an archetype too hard. Admittedly that archetype is "white creatures" but Channeler is welcome in literally any deck that can cast it, and is bomby as hell. Something something draft theory. Ngl all the monuments will be limited all stars. Oketra's the most, obviously, but they all are great on pick 2-4. Hazoret probably the least so, depending on how much more synergy we get. Delibirb
Temmet looks like he could be a fun commander, but we'll have too see how many good w/u embalm creatures we get. I like Kefnet too. Not as a commander but he's pretty cool for 3 mana.
Flame Dragon
Monuments all look really solid. Also, interesting to note we have legendary things at uncommon. Temmet seems like an interesting commander. Not sure if he'll be any good, but certainly interesting. Looks like Green has a "put -1/-1 counters on your things" theme. Seems really strong since you get such undercosted giant creatures. Interesting that they've been making mana creatures that stop producing mana. Scribe seems really interesting. Nice take on the normal return and instant/sorcery creature. Instant speed O-Ring that also cycles seems really good. Sad it doesn't combo with Sun Titan though. Drake Haven seems like it can be really cool. Kefnet seems ok. Much harder to maintain a hand of 7 than a hand of 1 or less. Returning lands helps (and can make it cost 3 for the first use if you don't already have a land in hand) but falling behind on mana is a pretty risky line. Cray-Crow
I like that it seems like another way to play green/black is coming. It's always graveyard shenanigans and +1/+1 counters. Now it's -1/-1 counters being placed on your own creatures. High S/T, low CMC creatures, with methods of removing the counters. Excited to see the new play style. I'm wanting to see a way to give creatures vigilance for this exert ability.
NeoRWBY65
the monuments make me want all 5. A 5 color commander will have the commander tax reduced by ANY of them. And every EDH deck I have ever made will just love the effects that trigger off of creatures being cast.
