Custom Rocket Guy Artwork

After another research on the Shy Guy species, I decided to create an artwork depicting the more obscure Rocket Guy, Shy Guys who ride on rocket preparing to blast their foes, without fear or hesitation..

Shy Guy Artwork drawn from zero using adobe illustrator, using brush tool for the outlines and interactive fill for colors

Effects like glow, shadow, etc. added in Photoshop

The Red/Yellow color scheme depicts fire and gives a warm atmosphere, like that of the rocket-ship

Whilst I myself suck at this kind of drawing, and props to you, I'd like to say that the mask seems a little bit squashed. It doesn't really have depth and looks like it's printed over his garment or something. There's a similar sort of thing going on with the flame, but I think that's fine. I really like the shading, and the background's cool.

I'll try to add depth to the mask to make it look more 3D and not "squashed" like a pancake

The background is actually two separate backgrounds combined on it's ends diagonally
