2freeYour Posted March 20, 2017 Report Share Posted March 20, 2017 So far I have posted like 2 or 3 threads about multiple custom cards and I got 0 comments. Absolutely nothing. xd I looked through various other multiple card threads and all I can find is the thread author bumping their threads. Why is no one commenting on multiple card threads? That's no fun :( Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Tourmaline Posted March 20, 2017 Report Share Posted March 20, 2017 How many thread of others have you commented on in that section? Is this thread telling me I should intentionally make my cards bad to get people to comment on my cards? xd Only this post on any topic but his own. Flash Flyer - Sakura Posted March 20, 2017 Report Share Posted March 20, 2017 How many thread of others have you commented on in that section? Essentially this. (1) If you don't critique other people's sets, then why should others do it for you?(2) Or if you've been shown to not reply to any critique (either at all, or in a positive manner), then members aren't going to waste their time critiquing. (And yes, I know of a certain member who does this frequently, well [2] anyway.) Also take into consideration how big your sets are; too big of a thread means people aren't going to review them, especially under the Advanced Clause. (That's probably the big reason why no one bothers to review the DBZ guy in Experimental; bar from power concerns). ====Let's look into the Pokemon thread you posted last month. Both MUDKIPZ and I went into your thread and said something, but you didn't make any changes even though we pointed out what needed fixing. Hina's post has proven (1) and (2) hold; you don't comment on other people's sets nor are you really appreciative of what they tell you. That thread is the only one people gave you any CnC. [This is also why repping people for making good comments is encouraged in CC; shows that you appreciate them coming in to review your stuff. Or at the very least, just say thank you.] Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted March 21, 2017 Report Share Posted March 21, 2017 I tend not to comment on people's cards because at a lot of the time there's so much wrong with them that I cannot humanly state what without breaking the advanced clause. Often just the entire point of the card is wrong and there is no way to salvage it. Since saying "don't make that card" isn't constructive in any way, I simply keep my mouth shut. You can tell them not to make that sort of card, but just elaborate a little bit. If you want to bring up game design, that'd count towards the minimum word requirement. (Trying to make it something that is reasonable, but says everything that's needed, which basically boils down to writing something about the card's design in general) You are a bit confused here, that thread is not mine. But other than that, you guys have a good point.. Yeah, I think I misread that thread as yours; my bad. ====But otherwise, Multiples tends to be less active than Singles.
