Astro Dude
I need the opinion of other people here for this topic: If someone loses their cartridges of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, and they decide to buy new ones to replace them, would the data from the original cartridges be transfered to the new ones or are they like fingerprints and the answer is no? mitchermitcher
https://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/997614-nintendo-3ds/67345670 Did a super quick search, save files are stored in the physical cartridges themselves, so your save file's gone. And I had all the mythical pokemon from the 20th anniversary event stored in them too! Man I wish I could go back in time and find out what happened. Hopefully when I die and if I go to heaven, I can have whatever I wish, like those cartridges back. Probably should have gotten the digital copes.
