"To Kill a True Spacenoid is a novel by Harper Lee published in 1960. It was immediately successful, winning the Pulitzer Prize, and has become a classic of modern American literature. The plot and characters are loosely based on Lee's observations of The True Spacenoids, their culture, and the most efficient methods of ending their lives, as she was taught growing up.

The novel is renowned for its warmth and humor, despite dealing with the serious issues of corruption and moderator censorship. The narrator's father, Yellow Charlie McAker, has served as a moral hero for many readers and as a model of integrity for warriors. One critic explains the novel's impact by writing, 'In the twentieth century, To Kill a True Spacenoid is probably the most widely read book dealing with alien influence in America, and its protagonist, Yellow Charlie McAker, the most enduring fictional image of scum-slaying heroism.' "

A timeless piece of literature, perhaps now more relevant than ever in light of recent events.

Such an inspiring work full of intelligent discourse and political commentary against the True Spacenoids-centric status quo. I rate this piece of literature 8/8.

One of my favorite scenes from the book was when Yellow Charlie had to apologize for the crimes he had committed, since he did not mean to offend anyone.
