As part advertisement for people that don't go to Facebook or Twitter, and part showing off, I'm posting the gifs of the animation we have for a character. Credit for all these sprites goes to @BarkerMugen, our spriter! Meanwhile, credit for the character design goes to Malik Torihane! Enjoy! (And if this should have been posted in the Video game section, feel free to move it.)[spoiler=The Character] Terro. He's one of the two 'shotoclones', or characters with the basic inputs similar to Ryu and Ken from Street Fighter. We're adding more to him though to keep him interesting. He'll be a slower, but more powerful character, with a bad air game, but a great ground one. [spoiler=Forward Walk] Like a boss. [spoiler=Forward Dash] Dash, green fighter dude! For Everlasting Peace! [spoiler=Back Dash] Back dash, green fighter dude! For everlasting Mega Man references! [spoiler=Jump] Remember, sometimes avoiding projectiles is better than blocking them! [spoiler=Forward Jump] Never skip leg day, amiright? [spoiler=Crouch] Sometimes one should duck and counter with a low attack. [spoiler=Light Punch] A quick and easy poke. [spoiler=Medium Punch] A chop to the gut. [spoiler=Heavy Punch] One massive hit to the chest. [spoiler=Punch Chain] Light, Medium, and Heavy! I feel the jumps and dashes will feel a bit better when it's programmed in and not just raw animation. Anyways, got some new animations for a new character. We did this one a little different, as she has rekka moves, so we decided to focus on those first. [spoiler=The Character]Kalpana is a rekka character, or a character that allows you to chain multiple special attacks together with a special sequence. She's meant to be a character with long combos, and a good mixup game, meaning you have to guess what attack she'll do next. [spoiler=Crimson Knee]Her anti-air. Knock people out of the sky! [spoiler=Crimson Flash]You can add this to the end of a Crimson Knee for extra damage and to knock them away! Simping For Hina Posted June 23, 2017 Report Share Posted June 23, 2017 From his other movements, the crouch has a delay it seems. He moves slower. The female should have more movement in her kicks, they change perspectives a little too quickly imo. Mostly in the first 3 frames or so, before she gets right into the first kick.
