Tinkerer Posted February 19, 2017 Report Share Posted February 19, 2017 Just a suggestion, but I believe it might be a good idea for people to tag or state if they are using decks made up of cards irl. Oftentimes, I expect it to be obvious, but in case it isn't, making this a rule would help to avoid confusion. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted February 20, 2017 Report Share Posted February 20, 2017 as in IRL vs simulator? So we can know if budget issues are a thing when suggesting help? I wouldn't make it a rule, but I would strongly recommend saying if you have budget issues, considering just how many YCMembers seem to be rich snobs. Let's not punish people for being poor and not telling the internet about it. i do not support Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Dad Posted February 20, 2017 Report Share Posted February 20, 2017 The idea behind this is good. I think rewording it to ask players to state if they have a budget or not would be more clear cut. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Tinkerer Posted February 20, 2017 Author Report Share Posted February 20, 2017 Budget is partially the reason, but knowing if a deck is being built irl is generally helpful for other factors (time to get certain cards and factoring out stuff like OCG exclusives for one). It helps the topic starter get correctly aligned advice from the get-go and helps reviewers keep things in perspective. It really isn't meant to be something big and as in-depth as all that. Again, a tag saying "irl" or "online" is all I'm suggesting. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
