September 29, 2012 - February 19, 2017 It is with a heavy heart I am here today to inform all Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans past and present of a tragedy that has happened today. Hamato Yoshi, a.k.a. Splinter, is dead. Impaled by the blades of Super Shredder. Splinter had always cheated death, but not this time. He's gone for good, never to return.
