~British Soul~
A new poll from the guys at SJ is up for you guys to decide which will be the new Yu-Gi-Oh! promo card among these 4 choices:Apprentice Illusion MagicianSpellcaster/EffectATK 2000 / DEF 1700You can Special Summon this card (from your hand) by discarding 1 card. If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can add 1 “Dark Magician” from your Deck to your hand. During damage calculation (in either player’s turn), if your other DARK Spellcaster-Type monster battles an opponent’s monster: You can send this card from your hand or face-up from your field to the Graveyard; that monster you control gains 2000 ATK and DEF during that damage calculation only. Divine Serpent GehReptile/EffectATK ? / DEF 0Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned by its own effect, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. If a monster you control is destroyed by your opponent’s attack or card effect: You can pay half your LP; Special Summon this card from your hand. Cannot be targeted by card effects. If this card attacks and opponent’s monster, that monster has its effects negated, also its ATK becomes half its original ATK, during the Damage Step only. Once per battle, if this card battles, during damage calculation (in either player’s turn): You can make this card’s ATK become equal to the original ATK of the monster on the field with the highest original ATK (your choice, if tied). Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Blade DragonDragon/Xyz/EffectATK 3200 / DEF 28003 Level 9 monstersYou can also Xyz Summon this card by using a Rank 8 “Galaxy-Eyes” monster you control as the Xyz Material. (Xyz Materials attached to that monster also become Xyz Materials on this card.) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card, then target 1 card on the field; destroy it. If this Xyz Summoned card you control, is destroyed by battle with an opponent’s attacking monster, or by an opponent’s card effect, and sent to your Graveyard: You can target 1 “Galaxy-Eyes Cipher Dragon” in your Graveyard; Special Summon it. Superheavy Samurai Swordmaster MusashiMachine/Synchro/EffectATK 300 / DEF 23001 Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersWhen this card is Synchro Summoned: You can target 1 Machine-Type monster in your Graveyard; add it to your hand, also if you have a Spell/Trap Card in your Graveyard, you cannot Normal or Special Summon monsters with the added monster’s name for the rest of this turn. This card can attack while in face-up Defense Position. If it does, apply its DEF for damage calculation. Resident Fascist
Vote Apprentice, it's the only remotely playable card of the 4.
Maeriberii Haan
That's not saying much. Vote Cipher Blade Dragon because I wanted to vote for Geh but the art is just sheet.
Althemia
Vote Divine Serpent so that the other 3 cards aren't impossibly hard to get and Europe will have them within the next 2 years.
Babymon
Why can't Shonen Jump make unique cards rather than english translation from pre-existing Jap cards?
~British Soul~
The Divine Serpent is the only one I don't give a sheet about, so that's what I went for.
Blake
Vote Apprentice, it's the only remotely playable card of the 4.all but geh are playable, apprentice least of those three ._. Apprentice is good in legitimately 2 decks, Musashi is decent to good in general, and Blade is good in anything that can R8.
Darj
Damn, the Serpent is so tempting. Like, really, what's the problem with it, again? Easy to Summon, non-targetable, runs over almost everything, searchable by King of Feral Imps, paying half LP doesn't matter as long as you get to stay in the game. Loses to Utopia Lighting but then again, a lot of cards lose to it, too.Actually, IDK how it would interact with Utopia Lightning since Geh's negation effect is continuous, and thus unaffected by the Armades clause, which means Utopia's 5000-ATK effect gets locked? goodfusion
Vote Divine Serpent so that the other 3 cards aren't impossibly hard to get and Europe will have them within the next 2 years. Is this always the case though? Relinkuriboh was the Weekly Shonen Jump promo for April 2016 and it got an international release 8 months later in INOV Special Edition. If Superheavy Samurai Swordmaster Musashi had been a promo earlier it might have been put in a Special Edition already. Or am I misunderstanding? I "Promise"It's a good generic card EDIT: British Soul, please can you please update Musashi's stats.
