Phantom Roxas
Bump that up to 20 cents to adjust for inflation and explain to me how I'm trying to guilt trip You're meant to laugh at some of the funny protesters, not get all teary and upset Don't tell people how they're supposed to feel, especially when you're once again mocking people for expressing sympathy for anyone. You just answered your own question. You ask for an explanation on how you guilt trip people, and then immediately tell people how they should react to something by framing "teary and upset" as the "wrong" reaction. Resident Fascist
What rights need improving? Also, for that matter, what ones specifically are in danger? The right to get a safe abortion at any point in a woman's pregnancy.
Ryusei the Morning Star
Well part of the problem is that a march for Women's rights is being misconstrued as a march against Men. Like yeah, some of the people involved probably do hate men, but the overwhelming majority of the movement just want better women's rights. It's like saying a protest to pay Apple Farmers more is an attack on Orange Farmers.Pretty sure I was more focused on saying that it was brought and payed for by a Nazi sympathizer and that they weren't genuine feminists cause instead of protesting the people who stone them to death for getting raped, they're protesting the poor bloke who wants to give them 500Billion in maternity leaveThe right to get a safe abortion at any point in a woman's pregnancy. What about the women you're killing?

Resident Fascist
If abortions are to be legal the ENTIRE pregnancy, how about a 35 week old female baby? Abortions after the 1st Trimester make up a small percentage of Abortions. Making them more accessible will increase the numbers, sure, but it likely won't skew the numbers out of the statistics we already have, just raise each number. The fact is most expecting mothers actually want to give birth to their baby. Women who desperately want an abortion will get one, safe or otherwise, leading to health complications and deaths of adult women in extreme cases. I'm sorry, but an adult woman has every right to everything that happens inside her body.

And if you improve access and reduce stigma, you will further reduce the number of late-term abortions, because women won't be shamed from seeking one in the first place. This is exactly what I was concerned about. This is complicated because part of the Women's March was indeed on the topic of women's sexual health and abortion access. But this is becoming the abortion thread all over again. What's done is done. You guys aren't mature enough to handle this.
