Hector can supposedly bypass "Wary fighter's" restriction by equipping the "quick riposte" sacred seal (in addition to "Armads"). That way he will double when attacked (while his hp is over 80% of its max), but the attacker cannot. I unfortunatly don't have Hector to test this myself, but it could be interesting.

 

I will probably give it to one of my dragons, given they can counter at all ranges, have decent mixed defenses, and score high.

Yup, it's true. So the QR seal is actually quite big for Hector. Being able to stop non-Brave doubles (unless the enemy has Axebreaker or he's attacking into Quick Riposte, in which case doubling is down to the standard Spd difference) while still being able to double during enemy phase within that health threshold is perfect for him. So now Desperation also doesn't work against him unless you also have the Brash Assault seal, you gotta aim for the OHKO.

 

I'm excited to put it on characters like my Sophia, Micaiah (QR + Guard is pretty nice), or Xander after I give him Vantage.

So the new banner is a 4* and 5* focus banner, all about that SI fodder. I spent a total of 20 orbs and got 4* Lachesis (the only unit I sent home), 4* Jeorge, 5* Setsuna, 4* Hinata, 4* Roy, and a 4* Klein which was exactly who I was looking for so I could get Death Blow 3.

 

Luckily yesterday I decided to go pulling for Airzura on a whim and there was only 1 green orb but I got a 5* Raven so I could give his Brave Axe+ to Cherche, decided to stop there after just 5 orbs. Just in time to reach 20k feathers, I finally finished my Cherche, I'm super happy since she was one of the earliest units I trained up since I got a +Atk -Spd one early on.

I tried that pull, nothing good. I wanted Becky, no luck. They don't even have the Dawn units in it. When I get enough orbs I'll try the new years thing.

Did a full summoning session on the new banner, hoping to get a Klein for "Brave bow+"/"Deathblow 3"/"Quick riposte 3". I didn't get any of the focus units (aside from a 3 star Frederick), but I did get a 5 star unit: "Wry comrade: Gray" (+hp, -def). His nature might not be ideal, but I'm happy since I wanted him for "Sword valor".

 

Furthermore I got the "Quick riposte" sacred seal, and fully upgraded it. Nowi can now make the arena unsafe by running it alongside "Vantage".

I too rolled for the full session, hoping to see Greens and get some Faes for her Renewal, and Hinata, but there was only 1 Green and it wasn't her. I got a couple of Klein, though. I know it's valuable for inheritance but I wasn't really looking for him. I want to roll some more just to store a few cool inheritances that I may need eventually. At the very least once I get a Rank5.

A new event calendar has been released. We are getting a grand hero battle against Lyon, shortly after a "new heroes" summoning event starts. So I expect some more units from Sacred stones to show up. Which is awsome. Valter also gets a rerun.

 

Besides that, we will also be seeing a "Choose your legends" event, at which Feh hinted during one of her announcement videos. The site would go live today, but they didn't link to it.

So with a second CYL poll in a couple days, I'll be really interested in seeing how the votes differ from the first. I wouldn't be surprised if characters like Ike and Lyn maintained a top spot (or in Ike's case, two top spots), if not outright remaining in 1st place, but I imagine characters like Reinhardt (who only had 137 votes putting him in 584/791 place) and the SoV characters will get more love than the first CYL. Aside from Reinhardt, I'm not sure who I'll vote for this time, I'm guessing we'll get 7 votes since it lasts a week.

 

btw, if you haven't seen it, consider buying the Starter Pack they just added. For $4 you get 12 orbs, 12 stamina potions, 12 light's blessings, and a 5* Black Knight.

I think they may take the previous winners of the CYL out of the voting for round 2.

Before I begin, I tried the New years banner again... Lyn broke my streak. But if I manage to reach 50k before events end and go for the prizes, I should have enough orbs for the new banner.

Where is the site anyway. And cool. Wonder who will voice him. I hope it's Sam Reigel. it would be kinda perfect. Nice guy like donnel but psycho like Raigh.

 

I hope more Sacred Stones units show up, like Myrrh, Neimi and Colm... Wait, if Sacred Stones units do show up, maybe L'Arachel and her posse will have their time to shine. I hope Stephanie Sheh voices L'arachel. ANd with Staff boost, L'arachel's legendary weapon could be the heal all staff.

 

Hopefully there's more SS units. Moulder the Boulder plz. Or maybe Duessel.

The starter pack will be a limited time offer thing I take it. Personally, I wish we had more characters from Tharcia 776, like Leif.

Now for the calendar. We're getting another TT MINI called Shrouded by the Storm. Any ideas?

The choose your legends webpage is up, the game links to it from the notice board. I have voted for Ephraim.

 

On a related note, I was looking at characteds from other games you could choose. Messenger owl Feh was nowhere to be found, but the others from Fire Emblem Heroes were.

Voted for my Queen Elincia, and will include Nephenee, Leanne and Maribelle in the following days. After that, IDK, perhaps Eliwood since IMO it deserves to have a version as strong as Hector, and more Laguz characters to push iS into introducing them xD

I found amusing that in the "About" section of the website they show Tharja and Camilla along lords Hector, Marth and Chrom.

 

A Brave Elincia would be freaking cool IMO, plus will let me get Elincia right away instead of relying on rolls and focus banners. Brave Hector would be interesting too, but regular Hector is already top tier so it may be redundant, IDK.

I realized they put Tharja and Camilla there because they placed 3rd and 4th in the previous event. Still, they are indirectly endorsing them, despite them already having at least 1 alternate version. Would be amusing for those 2 to take more special slots xD

I went for Mareeta. We need more Tharcia 776 characters. I'll vote for Leif next. But I'm confused. did voting start yesterday at 7 pm? Cause I voted today. I hope I can vote again tonight at 7.

 

btw, today's the last day of TT Mini. I used my feathers to up my 4* NY Corrin to 5*. And merged the 5* from the prize with it. Gonna try to reach 50k before the events end. I'm at 45k now.

Okay, this alters things...

 

Myrrh is voiced by Erica Lindbeck and L'Arachel, the fourth royal, is voiced by Carrie Keranen, while Kira Buckland returns as Eirika, only this time she uses Spells.

 

So... for those of you who wanted Myrrh to be a green dragon unit, you got your wish.

 

That just leaves who will voice Lyon.

Oh, I see they added L'Arachel, AKA Best Girl.

 

Red Mage Eirika is really interesting, and I'm looking forward to summoning her. Though it's particularly funny to me because I'm working on something with the title "Anamnesis", which was a title I had to look up to actually learn that word. Seeing Eirika with the title of "Anamnesis Lady" is personally satisfying to me, and has a little extra meaning.
