bury the year
Eh, mebbe interested. I know which character I'd use (Red Dust's lovely captain, Hanna Tam): but idk whether I'll have enough time/attention span to participate, what with the new semester starting soon. Depends on how fast we get this ball rolling.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
So this is a lot of interest but I still need to finish up writing out some things I want to get done. Technically I probably could get it up tomorrow but as I have a ton of posts today and I thought it'd be fun to start the OOC on the first of the year...that's what I'm gonna do.So basically.Almost everything settled, OOC will start on January 1st.Anyone have anything they need to know before that? Yeah. I asked above if we will be allowed to make major changes to our characters, like a 2~10-year time-skips. You mentioned minor changes would be allowed, but timeskips of such degree aren't exactly minor.
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Yeah. I asked above if we will be allowed to make major changes to our characters, like a 2~10-year time-skips. You mentioned minor changes would be allowed, but timeskips of such degree aren't exactly minor.Oh oops.Well you'd have to write out all what happened that the RP doesn't cover and it'd need to be consistent. But you could do that. Don't necessarily have to, the power level will be automatically adjusted either way.

There's reasons I'd rather keep it YCM RPs but I can make it work as long as I can find the RP. But it'd be fine to make some edits like that. The powers will be adjusted no matter what anyway. Yui
[spoiler=The Ice Queen]"Chilly today, ain't it?"Personal InformationName: Aurora BurnsAge: 15Gender: Female[spoiler=Appearance]Height: 5'3"Weight: 102 lbs[spoiler=Personality]Aurora is a confident young woman who keeps her eyes set on her goals and tackles each step toward them with certainty that she'll come out on top. While not much of a leader, Aurora is quite skilled in motivating others and thinking on her toes. She's not at all afraid of taking risks, but is prone to being too sure of her decisions. She'll think of one course of action, then take it, disregarding any arguments otherwise. This can get her in tight spots often, but even if it does, it's very rare for Aurora to lose hope and give up. She'll keep tackling her challenge with a smile until she inevitably emerges victorious, then move on to the next thing.Above all else, her top priority is helping others. She aspires to become a great hero, and her ambition drives her to help anyone in trouble, no matter how trivial it may be. She really just wants what's best for those around her, with a particular priority on those close to her. Harming her friends or family is an easy way to make yourself her number-one target. Becoming a threat to the public in general isn't much better. If she thinks she can do something about it (she always will), Aurora will show up at the scene of the crime and do her best to bring the bad guys to justice. Danger be damned! That said, she won't use her powers for violence against just anybody. It takes something really serious to prompt Aurora to such an action. She's actually quite reluctant to use her Fragment at all, due to its adverse effects on her. That said, for someone her age, Aurora has some surprisingly childish or otherwise unbecoming tendencies. Most notably, she absolutely adores goats, and will obsessively collect any goat-themed items she comes across. She'll guard her collection fiercely, and if she catches wind of a limited-edition item, Aurora will most likely go out of her way to get her hands on it.Of course, Aurora can go a bit overboard with her confidence sometimes. Every now and then her power can get to her head and cause a short bout of arrogance. She's also known to make underhanded decisions if the norm won't cut it, and is too eager to keep secrets from others. While she's selfless and forthcoming - albeit a little stubborn - at best, she can be deceitful and violent at worst.[spoiler=Biography]Aurora was born to an upper-middle class family, and is the only child of a rather successful lawyer and her husband, the gourmet chef. By the time Aurora was born, her folks were financially ready to raise a child, keep the lights on and the tummies full, and still have some cash to spare. Good thing too, since Aurora was born with such a powerful Fragment that it had to remain in constant use to keep her frigid powers from building up inside her and actually freezing her to death from the inside out. As a result, since the moment she exited her mother's womb, the air around her would constantly find itself getting colder. This meant several new financial requirements on top of the standard fare of raising a child.Hot meals and drinks were a must. Heavy blankets and heaters were required while she slept to keep her room warm. Even in the dead of summer, Aurora had to dress warmly. The thermostat in the Burns house had to be kept higher than normal not only to slow down her powers, but warm a room back up faster after she left. And of course, the fireplace got to see plenty of use year-round. While Aurora's financial impact wasn't so massive that the Burns family was losing more money than they made, she certainly did quite a number on their spare income. Despite the hurdles her Fragment presented, Aurora grew up happy, and eventually got old enough for school. Problem being, public schools simply weren't equipped to deal with her, and no private school in the area was willing to work around one student as much as Aurora required. In the end, her parents hired a willing tutor, and Aurora was homeschooled. One very strict lesson was responsibility. It was something her tutor and parents very strongly reinforced in her, teaching her that her powers weren't to be used for violence. To this day, these lessons have played a huge role in Aurora's life, and she has yet to betray them. The people of the outside world generally tried to avoid her. It could have been any combination of reasons, most involving an unwillingness to deal with the cold air she brought, or being afraid of her power. However, despite it all, there was one place Aurora liked to go when summer had come and the sun pulled out all the stops. The park. Some people welcomed her with open arms as a relief from the sweltering heat of Texan summers. Others, either jealous or afraid of her, weren't so hospitable, often trying to chase her away and/or make her not want to return. Well, one day at the young age of 6, the latter sorts became hostile. They were entirely ready to attack Aurora once they realized she wouldn't fight back. That was the day she met who would become her best friend.A boy had intervened, telling the hostile kids to stop. When they didn't listen, he casually tossed one a good dozen feet into the sandbox, as a warning to the rest. The assailants all left uninjured, and the two spent the next hour or so playing together before Aurora ultimately had to return home. They exchanged names and agreed to meet up again tomorrow. That boy's name was August Adler, and he stuck to his word the following day. And the day after that, and the day after that, and so on.The days passed and became weeks, eventually becoming months, then years. August became Aurora's one friend in the real world, and one of the very few who entered the Burns house to see her. At the age of ten, he came with an idea. An idea to become a hero. An idea Aurora was completely in favor of. An agreement was made, that the two would work hard to be able to someday enter Mar-Vell together and become heroes, and in exchange, Aurora's family would pay for August's transportation; financial burdens like that were the last thing August's folks needed.Fast-forward a few years. Aurora and August both met the requirements to join Mar-Vell, and as promised, the Burns family paid for transportation for the both of them. One lengthy train ride and a taxi cab later, and the two took their entrance exam, with both Aurora and August passing. Now that they'd taken their first year of high school, they were back again for round two. On the first day of school, several students were kidnapped by villains. Aurora and August, among others, took to investigating the incident, but during her own solo investigations, Aurora too went missing. Neither hide nor hair of her can be found back in her world, because she isn't there anymore. Aurora has joined the fray in Prana's arena.Combat InformationAlias: ArcticaQuantum Classification: Water/AirQuantum Fragment: Absolute Zero[spoiler=Appearance (hero)]Unlike the ever-so-common bodysuits that leave little to the imagination, Arctica's costume leaves more or less everything up in the air. The primary feature of the costume is a pale blue hooded winter coat made of leather, that reaches down to the knees and has a very heavy white fur trim and interior. Arctica's footwear of choice is a pair of black boots that reach almost up to the knee, and feature a similar fur trim & interior. The keen observer will notice a pair of thick, pale blue leather snow pants under the coat and boots. Her hands are covered by thick white velvet gloves that reach under the coat and go up to her elbows.Arctica's face is concealed mostly by a thick white fur scarf that wraps around the mouth and nose. Her eyes are concealed by a pair of goggles with black-tinted lenses. It can't be seen under the rest of her costume, but there is a surgical mask between Arctica's face and her scarf after she got fed up with fur sticking to her face. Also unviewable under her costume is a rather thick cotton bodysuit worn under the rest of her costume for extra insulation.[spoiler=Abilities]Aurora has the power to conjure ice, cold air, and so on. More importantly, her Fragment is extremely potent, to such an extent that she physically cannot contain the full extent of her power without the risk of freezing herself to death from the inside out. As a result, her Fragment is under constant - albeit light - use, creating an aura of cold air around her at all times. More thorough application of her Fragment can create gusts of freezing air, but will also adversely affect Aurora as well. Overuse can and most likely will result in hypothermia or worse. After some tests performed in very specifically-prepared environments, it's been concluded that Aurora is capable of generating blizzards with storm-force winds that blow at speeds of up to 68mph (109kmph), and at her peak can create temperatures as low as -207 degrees Fahrenheit (-97 degrees Celsius). The creation of ice is also possible with this power for various purposes. Stronger applications of the power wear on Aurora's health faster. For instance, she could slowly lower the temperature around her until it reaches a hazardously cold level and be none the worse for wear, or do it in the course of a few short seconds but suffer acute hypothermia and probable frostbite as a side effect.Aurora keeps her Fragment under constant use, but only a little bit. As a result, the air around her graudally gets colder, stopping at about 20 degrees Fahrenheit (-7 degrees Celsius) and lowering at a rate of 1 degree Fahrenheit (roughly .5 degrees Celsius) per second.Other InformationCarries a snowflake-pattern bag with her at all times. This bag contains a scarf, a fur-trimmed hat, a winter capelet, a pair of wool gloves, and no less than five thermoses of hot chocolate. The hot chocolate is made by Aurora every morning and immediately after school. The purpose of this bag's contents is to keep those who will be around her for extended periods of time warm, if they didn't come prepared.Sleeps accompanied by an electric blanket and a trio of space heaters, as well as her prized possession; a 3-foot plush goat. Yes, she knows how excessive it sounds.Aurora's already had her entire life thus far to learn how to control her Fragment just in order to live semi-normally. It's about as controlled as it can get as of now. While this means Aurora's considerably more powerful than most people her age, it also means she's already gotten as good as she can get, and has no further room for powering up. Source RPFIRST!!! VCR_CAT
Alright, well here goes nothing. [spoiler=Aria]Personality InformationName: AriaEpithet: AmpAge of Appearance: 17/18Sex: FemaleTheme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtgSP1-rAk0&list=PLk32mpiAD9hZn1JIvIVjZFwrmRaztLk0f&index=4[spoiler=Appearance]Standing at an AVERAGE FIVE FEET FOUR INCHES (and if you say otherwise you'll be missing some teeth) Aria expresses a spunky attitude through messy, short, curly, dark-gray/silver hair; a worn-out jacket that doubles as leather armor, work-pants, and steel-toed boots. By no means does the character look like it has the stature of someone who's trying to compensate for the kind of person they're not; in fact it looks more like they tried to make a rather accurate portrayal of themselves in the game. Face-wise, Aria's not like... un-pretty or anything. With large, bright blue eyes; a round nose; thin lips; and the fact that maybe she looks a little younger than she actually is, she'd be a lot more attractive if it looked like effort was taken to make herself presentable. Through all the dirt scruff and snarky and/or tough expressions, there's a soft-hearted girl in there... maybe. Seriously, joke about the height and you'll regret it. In real life (IRL as some may say), Aika is just as short; actually a little shorter than her character. With large, dark eyes, the familiar round nose and thin lips; the main difference is Aria's better-kept short, black hair compared to her character's messy, kind-of curly white hair. Her usual attire involves a cut-off jacket over a fitting gray long-sleeve with tight jeans torn at the knees, red sneakers, and a pair of big headphones around her neck. http://i.imgur.com/LkZf5Ko.png [spoiler=Personality and Bio]Aika, for the most part, is fairly complicated with her emotions. Back as a child, Aika was very quiet, and very shy. Spending most of her time reading books and practicing her music, Aika never spent much time around other kids or socializing. To top things off, Aika's home life was not something she would ever wish onto anyone else, but does her darnedest to keep this information to herself as much as possible. Unfortunately, this kind of information is very difficult to keep to yourself in the real world. Labeled as a "Loner" and a "Weirdo" by pretty much everyone else in the class, Aika was subject to a lot of bullying and a lot of torment. When the wrong crowd finally found out about her home life, things only got worse and worse. With nobody to go to and nobody to open up to, things looked bad. When life seemed to be at its worst, something happened at the school. A code yellow that was all over the news. Confronted with the criminal, Aika finally stood up for herself, even if she wasn't really all that successful. When the police finally put an end to the crisis, Aika left the situation a change person; for better and for worse. A lot has happened since then, and because of all that Aika has changed gradually from the quiet, shy girl to someone... a lot more rambunctious. Aika has become a balloon of emotions that has become over-inflated, with a fuse shorter than she herself and a tendency to attempt to hide what's really going on. Aika can be a person you would rather tip-toe around depending on who you are and your personality.Because of her past, Aika feels the need to be really tough; to be strong for herself and those around her. This also means that she's grown to be incredibly reckless because of her nature. Reckless, over-confident, and very energetic at times. Being reckless and quite dramatic at times does not mean she's a bad person. Aika genuinely cares for the people "close" to her, and makes a big effort to stand up for those who are being picked on or worse. She may have a short fuse, but knows how to restrain herself at least a LITTLE bit. Of course, a lot of this personality shift seems to be a lot more of an overcompensation than a self-improvement. Aika generally does not rub the right way with: people striving for too much attention (jealousy may be a big part of this) and people who act like they're better than others, specifically herself. In other words, ego maaaayyy have a part in all of this. Just a little. Taking things a step further, Aika generally despises people who pick on others or get their kicks at someone else's expense. If you're a bully, you're gonna get it. But really, let's put emotional problems aside from a moment. Aika's a very laid-back person at times; known for being casual to a point where some may take it as disrespectful. Laid-back also translates to "Pretty lazy" overall; hard work and labor that isn't fun isn't Aika's jam (and this applied to homework as well). She's a very fun-loving person, and really likes being around people that she enjoys hanging out with. When getting that sweet, sweet adrenaline rush isn't the activity of choice at the time, Aika loves to surround herself with people she likes and hopefully like her as well. Of course, there are always those times where Aika needs to get away and get in touch with the more... musical side of herself. Overall, Aika has embraced the Lockdown. Compared to most players, Aika has a great enthusiasm for living in the world of Lore and enjoys most days. Granted, when the conversation turns to "when they get out", Aika generally tries to change the subject. Before being pulled into this new world, Aika was still inside the world of Lore, playing. She had just met up with a new group to take on a quest together. Things were going smoothly, and it seemed as if she had found herself a new group to be with. However, before the climactic battle of the quest; she was pulled from the game space and, as well, earth as she knew it. Of course, upon being pulled into this new world, Aika found herself looking like her Lore character, and sporting some new abilities. [spoiler=Combat Information]Fighting Style: Aika's style is rather recognizable: in the fray as fast as possible, and take out the enemy before they know it. The strategy is minimal and the planning just as so. The results are usually mixed, and as such Aria's learned at least some restraint until the members of the guild that are able to tell her what do "Let loose the hounds" so to speak. Aika's new form in Rama-Indra boasts a very short-range combat strategy through melee combat while also manipulating sound in various magical attacks.Abilities:Staccato Slam: A simple move that amplifies Aria's punches and kicks. This wind attack creates a small shockwave on the impact of Aria's melee attacks that creates a very loud noise. Increases the concussive damage of Aria's melee attacks with a strong knock-back.Legato Leap: Using her wind magic, Aria uses sound waves to create a cushion of air pressure around her immediate person. This cushion of pressure can be used to increase the height/distance of her jumps or slowing her own falls (like lowering her own gravity), or to increase her running speedd and agilityBass Batter: A directional area-of-effect attack that fires in a cone. Casts out a wave of a very low and loud bass note that pushes back physical objects and can stun targets only while they're in the area of effect. Can be focused in a smaller area for greater force and slightly better range, or widened for weaker force but a larger area of effect.Soprano Scream: Creates a loud, very high-pitched bast of sound in a 5-meter radius around the user, damaging and stunning enemies caught in the vicinity.Crescendo Climax: A difficult ability that takes time to charge, during which Aria is immobile. This ability creates a massive explosion of sound on Aria's location, propelling her forward at incredible speed like a human missile leaving a wake of acoustic destruction; detonating on target with a second explosion of sound Luigi-style.Inventory:Tough Girl's Coat : A tan, long-sleeved leather armor coat that Aria is never seen without.Silver Cestus: a pair of metal gloves that make punching a lot more painful for the victim.Libretto Locket: An emerald necklace tucked away. Increases agility a little. Real-World IdentityName: Aika Akiyama (秋山愛佳, Ah-kee-yama Aikah)Gender: FemaleAge: 18Home City: FukagawaOccupation: Student/Amateur MusicianTrivia:Aika's been a lead-singer and guitarist in her band "Cloud Knights"; granted that name keeps changing... along with the genre and some of its members.Aika has a strange obsession with indie-rock music from North America, even though she can't actually speak english. (she can now in this new world, strangely enough)Aika has never worn a dress.original RP: http://forum.yugiohcardmaker.net/topic/331609-lore-online-oocaccepting/?do=findComment&comment=6590376 Changes: Basically all of combat information, and a little tid-bit from her Trivia section. I also put in more spoilers to make it easier on the eyes. If the combat is too drastically different for your tastes, I can make her have something closer to her original appearance in her RP (I was just a little hesitant on the guns part). Also if you don't feel like this character is going to work at all either way, just let me know.

Tesability Black
Current Source: Hailing from the GCRP [spoiler=The Last NetMonster]"A Hunter never gives up. Neither does their Champion."Name: Tesability BlackTitle: Tricky DragonAge: 17Gender: Genderless/FeminineTheme Song: Poets of the Fall - Can You Hear Me?Appearance: Tesability Black is a draconic being of solidified data known as a NetMonster. About the size of a Great Dane, she is black with gold underwings. Her ears take the form of large silver leaves. Her eyes are a solid black color, but the strange white dot that appears on her eyes gives those who see her a clue as to where or what she's looking at. Tesability is classified as a Thunder Dragon Champion NetMonster.[spoiler=Here be a dwaggy]Biography: NetMonsters are creatures of the Internet that once roamed free, remnants of code compiled from several sources into several combined forms. Tesability Black was a special one of these NetMonsters, however. The human who became her partner found her crystal, which began to glow with an electrical aura before beginning to change shape. She opened her black eyes to the human on the other screen for the first time and she saw her human partner smile a happy smile. The young dragon and the human on the other side of the strange box that always stayed near her always managed to have some sort of fun, whether it'd be finding shards of data that crystallized into various shapes, including even a tree, or finding and recruiting other NetMonsters to play with, a favorite being an Ice Mech named Kawuros.About a month passed when a darkness fell over the internet, felt by all the varying NetMonsters. Soon after, NetMonsters of all species and attributes started becoming corrupted, wrecking havoc and destruction everywhere. Even the 500-floor tower that represented Google.com had huge holes blown through it that forced the site to frequently fail its searches. While she and her partner found the source of the corruption, a possessed Shadow Mage named Shade and the virus known as Nemesis, the Seed of Evil, it took gathering the code to access the inside of his tower from his 84 powerful primary soldiers, the Boss NetMonsters. With both Hunter and Champion gathering together forces to aid in fighting his army, something happened. The Hunters for all of the NetMonsters had suddenly stopped appearing, not just Tesability's partner. While the humans never returned to the fight, the Champions that gathered together all nodded to each other before storming the tower, finally taking down Shade...but not before the Thunder Dragon became infected, the source virus jumping from one host to another before the end of the previous one. When it happened, the reality that overlaid the internet began to collapse, with very few escaping the carnage. The dragon, not wishing to become the next Shade in whatever world was left behind, jumped into a floppy disk in a computer and fell asleep. She thought she would be asleep forever, but she was awoken by a curious underling among the Divine forces. And she opened her eyes to the world once more, her only wishes to bring back to existence her old home and to see her old human partner once again. ~~~ Tesability shouldn't been here now, but a small miracle saved her when she should be erased from existence. When the Avatar Conflicious went to crush her Champion Crystal, somehow her jewel was swapped out for a different one and miraculously pulled out of the Pathway to Origin, causing the false one to be destroyed instead. After revival, she opened her eyes to a strange figure smiling at her. "Welcome to Rama-Indri," she heard being said towards the NetMonster before wondering in what strange place she was this time...Personality: Poor Tesability, despite all that transpired with Shade, is rather-naive, not always paying attention to the world around her. She often moves from one thing to another, always finding something that catches her interests for a few seconds before moving on. In combat, she's a different story. The monster that she is comes out in full force and she's not nice about how she fights. She's also probably gonna be one of the fastest fliers in the ring as well. In the events that happened during her short time in the GCRP, she was revealed to be an honest creature with literally nothing to hide, which means that the concept of secrets are a confusing thing for her. She's likely to be friendly to anyone that's friendly to her, and does not take betrayal or abandonment well...especially since she's been abandoned by an entire world once before... partially due to her fangs, she speaks with some odd quirks, somethings adding or changing letters in words as she speaks. (Fear not, translations will be provided.) Since there's always a chance that I haven't thought of everything, further personality traits I may not have thought of now may reveal themselves throughout the course of the RP. After the most recent regeneration, she has grown a bit rebellious and unlikely to follow orders unless she wants to...hopefully, that changes for the better in the future. Powers/Equipment:~Tech Jump: As a being comprised of data, Tesability is able to jump into various forms of technology and take control. Doesn't work with tech that has magical components, however. She can also jump out of them to become a 'living' entity as well. This all means that all of the virtual fields are (at least partially) home turf for her.~Electricity Generation: She is a living battery, able to both breath out electricity or just in general generate electricity from her scales to form either a shield or a way to deal extra damage in the form of a running tackle.~Lighter than she looks: Despite looking like her wings wouldn't be able to support her in flight, she can actually fly and quite fast too. If she surrounds herself with electricity while in flight, she can become a literal lightning bolt, moving so fast it would almost count as a tracable teleport. Trying to land safely after using this can be a trick, though...she's pulled herself halfway out of walls before.~Literal Hard Head: Tesability is not exactly the smartest being out there and that's due to the number of times she's rammed head-first into something, giving her one of the thickest skulls you're gonna ever see on a being. If you manage to actually break it, pat yourself on the back, because that's a hell of a feat.~Flight: Listing it in case it's needed, but Tesability's wings allow her to take to the skies. She's not fast enough to pull of a Sonic Rainboom, but she comes hella close when becoming a lightning bolt.~'Limited' Immortality: Tesability, upon taking over a certain amount of damage at any one time, will revert back to a crystalline form. In her case, she reverts back into what looks like a citrine flower. Only in the hands of a human without any magical abilities will she reawaken to her usual form. (Forgot to list this in the original sheet, but it did come into light midway into the GCRP. This is an innate thing for Champion NetMonsters in the original NetMonster game.)~Crystal Scramble: Champion NetMonsters are unique in that they can (albeit somewhat randomly) alter their binary coding. How this is done is through exposure from Knowledge Crystals obtained after defeating various Oracle NetMonsters. These crystals can allow a Champion to break various limitations statistically, even breaking the Level limit temporarily. (This is another power that ended up emerging within the GCRP that I failed to put down. This is another innate thing for Champion NetMonsters in the original NetMonster game.) Known Weaknesses:~Magnetism: Tesability starts destabilizing around powerful magnets, and I mean more powerful than typical school magnets, who in turn start acting screwy around her... (How the magnets themselves start screwing up is up to the GM.)~Wrecking Ball: She doesn't exactly think twice about jumping into combat, which can land her in some serious situations that have caused this Champion to be on the receiving end of some serious ass-whuppings...~Lacking in Four-Paw Traction: She's fast as hell in the air...not so much on the ground. She can bolt when needed, but she's nowhere near as fast as when she can fly.~Crystal Scramble: While they can empower her, some combinations of crystals can also weaken her by accident, sometimes by severe amounts.~Even I Won't Know the Changes Before It Happens: While it can be a pain to find, the NetMonster program can still be found and can still be ran on modern computers...and can still be beaten even now, thanks to a glitch discovered way back then. This means that I can actually generate Tesability's stats according to the game and use the game itself to generate what happens when a certain crystal combo is used...which means I actually have to find said Knowledge Crystals. XD This also means that if the end result is broken as f*ck, it's legit not my fault. [spoiler=Actual In-Game Stats]Found a working copy of the game...screenshots are gonna be slow because I can only reroll my Champion once a day in this game...[spoiler=Before Generation]I said that Tesability's Champion Crystal looks like a Citrine flower, but this is the default gem that Champions are generated from. Depending on the rolls I get, the next three will show the base level of her strength.[spoiler=After Generation][spoiler=Personality Stats and Other Info]Argh, the fact that she's become rebellious has rolled up, so I apologize now for being an utter @sshole ICly. Once I actually find and get Knowledge Crystals, the five Personality Stats will change in addition to the Level. Once that happens, I'll be putting up the altered personality.[spoiler=Generated Attacks]I'm treating attacks generated by the game stronger than similar regular attacks. The above will appear as so:~Stinging Saber: This is a Strength-based Thunder move that doesn't seem tied to any body part. This means that she's going to be using it primarily as an electrified claw attack.~Tremendous Blow: A double-Strength move like this would probably be best displayed as either one hell of a tail smack or a body slam.Like with the Personality stats and the Level, the attacks can change.[spoiler=Base Stats]I decided to add the absolute base stats here, because they can be altered in other ways. The NetMonster program has ways to edit a NetMonster's binary code to make them stronger or weaker. If changed via DNA tweaking or by Knowledge Crystal, it will be noted. ChampionZero
[spoiler=Checkmate]Game over.~C Personal Information: Name: Checkmate (formerly Joshua Talbot)Age: 25Gender: Male Appearance ^6'3", 145 pounds PersonalityCheckmate is a very refined individual. He takes precise action in all things, considers all possible results, regardless of their effect, and insists on every detail being EXACTLY as he envisions it. He's a visionary, and one who intends to change the world. He feels emotion, as anyone does, but he is quite good at concealing it, and can just as easily project false emotions, which makes reading him nigh-impossible. He has discarded nearly all morals, but everyone has limits. And if he is evil, you can't deny his is a gentleman. And as a businessman to boot, he will make deals as necessary. BiographyJoshua Talbot was born into a very rich and influential family. He was a bright, happy child, looking forward to a bright, happy future. He was disappointed when his parents spent his childhood whipping him into shape, trying to mold him into the perfect heir. Emotional as he was, he became very depressed throughout his youth. But the more he cried, the more severely he was punished. So he learned not to show emotion. He also learned how to lie, to mask his thoughts, to take no action that could bring consequence upon him. This extended into his free time, leaving him with nothing to do. He did enjoy playing chess with the butler. He was quite good (the butler, that is) and taught Joshua everything he would come to know about chess. His parents' conditioning him to be perfect and the mindset he developed listening to the butler discuss the philosophy of chess made him grow up much too soon. However, his parents were getting a little suspicious of his sudden maturity. This led to the firing of the butler. This made Joshua very upset, as the butler was the only friend he'd had at that point. He lost control, his emotions coming to the forefront. But he was still precise. Still took precautions. Even as he killed his parents, he focused on doing it perfectly. He determined, as the regret and shame from killing his family came rushing in, that emotion was a terrible flaw that made people do terrible things. He resolved to rid himself of it, forever if he could. He began to pursue a dream of a perfect world, in which people who acted on emotion were not a factor. But Joshua Talbot had no power, no influence with which to change the world. He needed to be something more. Something without emotion, a being but not a person. He took up the moniker "Checkmate," sold the family's company, and disappeared searching for the power he needed. (Now I assume he works for whichever major villain you need him to work for, but without knowing who that is, I can't explain how.) Powers & Abilities Eidetic Memory (Innate ability)Hypnosis (Trained skill)Telekinesis (Developed Superpower)Telepathy (Developed Superpower) Standard Weapons & Equipment Steel-studded chess set that doubles as a small briefcase. The chess pieces are made of bullet casings.2 Desert Eagles, one silver, one black. OK, so this guy was meant to be a recurring villain for the Teen Titans RP, but it shut down right after I finished his app.
Ren✧
[spoiler=Shinguru shotto ite] シングルショット射手"From one game and into another."Personal Information:Name: TadashiEpithet: The One Shot ArcherAge: Early to Mid TwentiesSex: Male[spoiler=Appearance][In-Game] ll [Real Life] Tadashi boasts a fairly average height of 5'9" and weighs approximately 170lbs, made up of lean muscle. His ears are not nearly as prominent or pointy as depicted, but are slightly larger than average(often drawing a little attention). Additionally, he does not usually sport the light armor set depicted, as its coloring makes it impractical when stealth may be necessary, but instead wears a variant that is made up of mottled green and brown fabric that helps him blend into forested landscapes. That being said, Tadashi does don the orange, slightly dressier outfit when in Safe Cities or attending more formal gatherings. In real life, Takeshi is a great deal more built and stands several inches higher than his in-game counterpart at 6'2". His body is heavily scarred from his time on the war front, as is his mind. His hair is a dark shade of brown, as are his eyes, and he normally wears a solid colored T-shirt. The bandages on his left arm are no longer present, as he had his arm amputated several years ago.He keeps his dog tags on him at all times. [spoiler=Personality]Tadashi is used to drawing attention wherever he goes, and has come to terms with the glances of fear and disgust that often accompany his travels. How could he blame them? All they can see is the red tinged icon that is an all too telling sign of a killer. This often places Tadashi in isolation, not by choice, but by public opinion. This leads to Tadashi often being viewed as quite sullen and broody, a result of his forced isolation. However, if one were to openly engage him, they would find that Tadashi is not as cold or mean-spirited as his reputation may describe. In fact, he is quite personable and welcoming, always excited to be included. In a non-combat situation, Tadashi has a habit of being a bit clumsy. Seeing as his body is accustomed to functioning without the use of his left arm, he is prone to knock things over and overreach for things. Tadashi is protective of other players, especially low-leveled players, and NPCs alike, a product of his military training to protect civilian lives. After Lockdown Day, Tadashi began to act as a guard and guide to low-leveled that wished to partake in a dangerous journey or quest. Unfortunately, it was during one such excursion that Tadashi was cursed with Red Status. During the battle for Mizar, Tadashi was primarily concerned with seeing players that did not wish to risk battling for the city to safety. Guiding a small group of fairly inexperienced players out of the city, Tadashi was too busy looking behind himself for monster attacks that he didn't notice the ambush set for fleeing players by a local PK Guild before they were already thoroughly entangled in their trap. What happened next would quickly spread as the stuff of legends. Overcome with concern for the players' well-being, Tadashi went into a frenzy that resulted in eight members of the PK Guild being skewered with arrows. More shockingly, each player that had been killed had each been struck with only a single arrow. This feat earned him the title The One Shot Archer, but also marked him as a killer. From there on, Tadashi would bear the Red Status. Whispers of his mighty display quickly spread through Lore, and many false images and high expectations of The One Shot Archer seemed to circulate in the minds of the public. Images and expectations that Tadashi is growing tired of dealing with. Since Lockdown Day occurred, symptoms of Tadashi's PTSD, a lingering effect from his time in war, have slowly been making their way into his in-game persona. The reason that Tadashi is now trapped in Lore was his inability to cope with the monotony of civilian life, which left his mind to analyze and dramatize the horrible acts he had seen and the necessary, but sometimes cruel, orders he had to carry out. Originally thinking he would wield a musket in Lore, Tadashi had to abandon this idea when upon picking up the gun, he was immediately struck with involuntary flashbacks of his active duty. It is inevitable that these hallucinogenic episodes will eventually prove to be a danger to his well-being. More than anything else, he tries to hide these symptoms from others. Already he has a hard enough time gaining the trust of his guildmates, if they found out that he was a danger to them, they might kick him out entirely. Combat Information:Category: DexterityClass: MarksmanLevel: 42[spoiler=Fighting Style]When entering conflict, Tadashi instinctual distances himself from the danger, so as to provide better cover and support with his bow. Often taking position in nearby trees, Tadashi rains down a devastating barrage of arrows to take out any enemies that may make their way passed another player's defenses. His main objective is always to ensure the lives of others, which occasionally puts him in tough situations. Impossible to live up to his title, Tadashi is not able to immediately dispatch an enemy with a single shot unless they boast a laughably low amount of defense. Still, his accuracy is high above the average amount and results in one of the largest records of critical hits that have ever been logged in Lore. If Tadashi runs out of arrows, he puts even more distance between himself and the conflict so that he can the access main inventory screen and equip a new set of arrows, a task that takes approximately 2 minutes to complete and requires him to remain still. If he is forced to move during this process, he will have to start over. [spoiler=Inventory]Tree Walker's Garb<Light Armor>: Providing very little in the way of defense, this outfit can barely be classified as armor. Fortunately, what it lacks in defensive attributes, it makes up for in speed and agility. Granting its wearer elven-like quickness and the ability to scale structures with ease, this armor set is perfect for range-based classes. ((Tadashi owns two variants of this armor. Orange and mottled green))Death's Feather<Compound Bow>: One of the most powerful compound bows, it is the only bow in the game of Lore to provide the user with a zoom screen when the bow is drawn. Arrows fired from this bow are imbued with a type of energy that drains the mana of the target in addition to dealing damage to their health.Plentiful Quiver<Storage>: Able to store a total of 36 arrows, twice the average arrow storage capability, on the wearer's person.Silver Arrows<Projectiles>: Sturdy arrows that deal extra damage against nocturnal monsters.Hunting Knife<Basic Knife>: (Unequipable)(Non-upgradeable) A standard hunting knife. [spoiler=Sample Skills]<Sleeper Arrow>: Imbued with mana, this arrow does not damage the target but instead causes drowsiness. Symptoms usually include blurred vision and clumsy movements. Most notably, the status effects of this attack lead to a greater chance of critical hits. These affects only last for a minute or two. On extremely large targets, it may even be less time depending on their size. <Heaven's Blight>: Shooting a single arrow, imbued with a large amount of mana, up into the sky, a storm of arrows rains down, covering a large, general area. These arrows have no accuracy to them and are generally only effective against a hoard of enemies. This skill results in the user being depleted of 18 arrows.<Archer's Frenzy>: This is a skill that Tadashi has only been able to effectively use once(during the retreat from Mizar) and is suspected to be an Unguided Skill, as it bears no conditions or prerequisites that Tadashi can view. This skill seems to grant the user an uncanny level of speed, accuracy, and strength, resulting in the near insta-death of chosen targets. This will thoroughly deplete mana and stamina and has an active time of only a few seconds. Real-World Identity:Name: Takeshi Hamada (浜田 武, lit. Hamada Takeshi)Gender: MaleAge: 34Home City: NagoyaOccupation: War Veteran, Works as a maintenance man in the motel he lives in[spoiler=Trivia]Takeshi means 'soldier' in Japanese, so it seems that he was destined to join the military from birth. His choice of Tadashi, meaning 'morally right', as his screen name is a reference to his need to safeguard the lives of others.Takeshi served as a specially trained sniper whilst on active duty and lost his arm when the truck he was riding in hit an IED. The only living family that Tadashi has is a step-father and a half-sister, whom unbeknownst to him, is also trapped in Lore.Tadashi has achieved a reputably high cooking level in Lore. [spoiler=Amendments/Additions]Lore Online ended, albeit comically and regretfully, with the characters waking up from the virtual reality-induced comas and returning to their normal lives. However, for Takeshi the following events took place: He briefly remembers the darkness, the incredibly vivid virtual world disappearing around him. He remembers blinking his eyes and waking up in a hospital. Then, quick as he could blink he was transported elsewhere. Back in the body of Tadashi, his online character. However, it became strikingly apparent that this new world was not online. No drop-down menu. No viewable inventory. No selection menu for skills. He found that he could still shoot just as well as he could in the game. And with some focus, he could even use the same magical skills, but it was different...more real. Also in this world, no one can see his Red Status. Original RP: Lore Online
LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
Alright folks I won't be around much tomorrow (today) but I will try and get on at some point. I want, however, to choose one of the eight characters tomorrow. (Yes even though there's only 4 apps atm). So some things I need from y'all. Yui: Just want to be sure that is all there is to the events that led up to her being transported. VCR: Please put up a summary of the events that led up to her being transported XD Tayla: First of all omg this is a great character for this for many reasons. But.~Tech Jump: As a being comprised of data, Tesability is able to jump into various forms of technology and take control. Doesn't work with tech that has magical components, however. She can also jump out of them to become a 'living' entity as well. This all means that all of the virtual fields are (at least partially) home turf for her. Most of the technology in the arena is magical in some means. I will say that right here that "taking control" of it would be....not...good for her. Also the speed worries me. Teleportation can be really broken really easily. And a couple more things. I don't have a solid "amount needed" but a little more personality would be nice. The final thing to note is...just to clarify would the dwaggy be solid at any point? Because without a solid body of some sort a lot of stuff would be...difficult. Champion: I can't really allow a character working for the "Villain" for an RPer's character because the characters were brought there only for the tournament stuff and...well there isn't exactly a..."villain" here. Also I would need to know how his combat would even be like. The reason I'm not quoting is1. Clunky and even longer post.2. I want to be sure you all are reading this
Tesability Black
One: Sorry, so far it's been a copy/paste. I'm slowly working on plumping it up. Two: She's not actually teleporting, she's just that f*ckng fast when she wants to be. She still can't go through a solid wall and show up onto the other side without putting a permanent hole in said wall or burying herself half-way into the wall. (And leaving her with backpaws kicking in the air in a hilarious way for a moment while she tries to get out.) Three: NetMonsters was originally a mix of Pokemon, Digimon and Monster Rancher to a degree, so she'd be like a Digimon in regards to if she would be solid or not in the fields and out in the open. Four: In regards to Tech Jump...would you believe me if I said that she's basically a Rotom before it was a thing? XD While with pure-tech things, she can take over as needed, she usually doesn't. Normally, if she's getting an ass-whuppin' that she didn't initiate (meaning something jumped her without any warning), she could hide into nearby tech. If the fields are at least partially magical, the most she could get while inside the fields is an 'innate' sense of the field, allowing her the ability to reduce the number of 'nose-first' collisions she ends up having. She wouldn't be able to jump into any part of the field and take control of it. Tech Jump would mostly come into play in regards to what would be her 'room' outside of combat. She can jump into any form of pure-tech computer and have a lot of snooze space.
ChampionZero
Well, for one thing, think Demon Kenshi from MKX, where he fights hand-to-hand, has a ranged attack with his guns, and using Telekinesis, hypnosis, and telepathic illusions, briefly summons giant chess pieces that perform simple attacks. Also, he's not supposed to be a villain in THIS game, I'm just giving you the context he was initially for. Finally, basically none of my other RP characters can be used because they're all from Yugioh RP's, so combat is not their specialty. There was one other, I'll check it out, but I might not be able to find it.

I'll try and make sure to highlight what she can actually jump into and such if she gets in. I will assume his hand-to-hand is mostly basic, compared to probably some of the other fighters that will be in this?Oh and for that, a thing to note about YGO characters and non-combat ones.I am down for letting some creative freedom here. For instance summoning. (Think Pokemon Trainer). Just throwing that out there.
👀 REP 👀
[spoiler=Cyanthrax, The Smug Demon of the Seven Sins]"Heh...you couldn't possibly think an insect like you had a chance to even hurt me." Personal InformationName: Cyanthrax Gender: MaleRace: DemonAge: 345Allegiance: The Seven Deadly SinsMark: The Lion Sin of Pride[spoiler=Apperance]Height: 6'4"Weight: 271 lbs Cyanthrax's apparel is nearly identical to what you see above, with the mark of the Lion Sin engraved onto his back. The back of his jacket also has the mark of the Lion Sin on it with a yellow cloth and the same frills you see on the collar and sleeves of the jacket surrounding it, taking place of the mane of the lion. And yes, for the most part, Cyanthrax bears that s***-eating grin almost permanently. His blood is pitch-black. [spoiler=Personality]Cyanthrax is vile, loud-mouthed, and has an ego that would dwarf even the largest giant. He shows little respect to those around him, especially if they are strangers to him. He is very quick to retaliate to those who talk down to him, either through snarky one liners that sound much cooler in his head or by getting violent. Due to how little respect he has towards other, he will often handicap himself and in general hold back against his foes while degrading them. He is extremely competitive about nearly everything he does. However, despite what you'd think, he doesn't really instigate many fights - almost all of the spats that he gets into are when people attack his image or defending someone else who is being bullied. In his mind the worst thing a person can do is pick on those below them.He is very impulsive and stubborn, usually charging head-first into situations for various reasons. While not the sharpest tool in the shed, he is able to function very well under high-pressure situations. Despite his hateful and arrogant exterior, he is a bit of a softy inside, especially towards animals and children. He feels as if it is his duty to protect those who cannot protect themselves due to immense strength, especially against others who pick on those below them to feel stronger. While he had troubles actually making friends, he get really attached to them once he makes them, although he will try his hardest not to show this. [spoiler=Biography] His memories from his time with his fellow Demons is shaky at best - the only thing he remembers is a feeling of rejection and weakness. As far as he knows, he has always been alone in the human world, only his blade keeping him company. Due to his demonic powers and desperation, he joined a local street gang - the Rebellious Rats. At first, he served as the muscle of the group due to his strength, doing most of the dirty work. They did various crimes - mainly theft, but sometimes assault and vandalism. As time went on, he climbed up the ranks of what he considered to be his family. As the gang's influence grew, so did their infamy. And Cyanthrax was at the helm of the gang, basically becoming the leader alongside the original leader - a surprisingly young Human named Pearson Grei, whom stood at 27. The two of them became representatives of the slums, Cyanthrax with his strength and Pearson with his charisma and wit. As word of the gang spread, so did the fact that Cyanthrax was a demon. This lead to the gang and, more specifically Cyanthrax, being scapegoated for multiple crimes, including kidnapping and murders - something the Rebellious Rats have never done. Despite there infamy in the town, they were considered heroes in the slums, as they would often share the loot they stole from the rich with the slums that they called home. Their crimes, however, would eventually catch up to them. One day, the guards had found there whereabouts after interrogating a few of the slum locals. Things did not end well for either party - a bunch of the slums people got caught in the cross-fire of their fighting, while both sides lost lives. This included Pearson, who received a fatal blow through the heart. Enraged, Cyan slaughtered what remained of the guards and, realizing what he had done, fled. Of course, all of the deaths that had happened on that night were pinned on him. After that day, he spent his time wandering the world without a goal, hitting multiple bars and casinos on his trail. After what was around a couple of decades, through his travels, he crossed paths with another gang of misfits and criminals - his type of company. He ended up traveling for a bit, joining there ranks as the Lion Sin of Pride - a natural fit for him - and, for once in a long time, felt at home. Rekindling this feeling of home, he decided that he had to go back to see how the town was going after all those years of his absence. He imagined that they would probably still be searching for him, but he had to know what the status of the slums was. He knew, somehow, that he would cross paths with the other sins again. He had many adventures between splitting up from his comrades and eventually reuniting with them at the start of the RP Cyanthrax is from, where he wandered the land searching for something to do. He could not tell you the specifics of how he got to this strange realm - all he can recall was that it was at a late night at some tavern in a small town; despite being a demon, he managed to get wasted. All he recalled is passing out in a drunken haze and waking up to a strange world. Combat Information [spoiler=Sacred Treasure (Weapon)] Jigoku Jigoku is a rapier with a unique purple to orange coloration on the blade and a blood-red hilt. The blade seemed to have an after-image effect when swung around. It can act as a channel for demonic powers, primarily however it it excels at channeling different sorts of Purgatory Fire. [spoiler=Original Powers] [spoiler=Ability] Crisis Crisis is an that, when activated, causes the very air in a close proximity of him to suddenly become dense, making the very act of breathing difficult for those who can't handle the increased pressure. The intense pressure makes it hard for those who are not used to the high pressure or those who are easily stressed to think fast, causing them to make many mistakes. This intense pressure can be beaten with sheer willpower and confidence - in fact, this is how Cyanthrax is able to thrive after activating this ability, as it technically also affects him despite it in practice doing almost nothing to him. [spoiler=Techniques] Shadowstep Using his dark energy, he can propel himself short distances with impressive speeds, making it great for dodging incoming attacks or surprising the enemies with a sudden attack. Using Shadowstep will leave a black trail behind him as he does it. It can be used in rather quick succession but no other demonic ability can be used in the short duration of Shadowstep or immediately after using Shadowstep. Hellfire Rain Cyanthrax can create up to 10 small orbs of Purgatory Fire by burning the air around him using his demonic power and fire them at his leisure. If materialized from Jigoku, the fireballs becomes amplified in speed, power, and size, although he can only tether one fireball onto Jigoku at a time. The fireballs can be merged to become bigger, faster, and stronger. Hellspark He can cause the very air around him to ignite in a sudden burst of Purgatory Flame. While the burst itself doesn't last long, Hellspark can still ignite flammable objects such as wood or clothing. The area in which Cyanthrax can use Hellspark is very close to himself - about a foot and a half away from himself. Hellsnake Spit Usually fired off of Jigoku, his hands, or even from his own mouth, Hellsnake Spit is a sort of short-ranged flamethrower technique that fires Purgatory Flame. Prolonged and constant use of Hellsnake Spit coming from his body will eventually start burning him as well, although the effects are not as severe as they are for his opponents. This can also be used to propel himself forward if he so desires to do to. Because he had this movement option, he never took up the flying ability that most demons have - he much prefers to fly around in style. Ignite He can surround any part of himself or the tip of Jigoku in Purgatory Fire, allowing him to either punch things with the effects of Purgatory Fire or have a flaming sword. Using it on Jigoku has no negative effect on him unless he touches the fire, but using it on himself causes burns on the part that is affected by Ignite. Naturally, he is more resistant to his own fire than the opponent would be, but it does leave notable burn marks and damage to his body that is difficult to heal due to the nature of Purgatory Fire. When used on the tip of Jigoku the effects are more potent due to it being more concentrated. Hellseeing Eyes Due to not being a full-fledge demon, he can't quite steal the souls of others. However, his demon heritage and training has given him the ability to see the faint aura of ones soul. This gives him slight wall-hax ability and, more notably, can tell whether someone is dead or not. Pressure Used alongside Crisis, his dark energy can cause thoughts of fear, paranoia, despair, and even flashbacks to bad memories - even repressed ones. Essentially, if the opposition is affected by Crisis they can be psychologically attacked. The effectiveness of Pressure is similar to that of Crisis - those who are more resistant to Crisis also aren't very affected by Pressure, but those who can't handle Crisis at all may find themselves either severely psychologically damaged or even dead by the effects of Pressure. [spoiler=Physical Traits] Power of Darkness Demons can create and manipulate a mysterious dark substance to enhance both their offensive and defensive abilities. It has been shown to form various weapons and to protect them from attacks that would otherwise cause serious injury. Enhanced Regeneration They can use their darkness be used to piece together an injured demon's body and mend grave wounds. Purgatory Fire「煉獄の炎 Rengoku no Honō」 A powerful, dark flame that is capable of negating regenerative abilities and even scarring an immortal. It can be invoked in the form of an enchantment. [spoiler=Trimmed Down Version] Purgatory Fire Basically, Cyanthrax's fighting style revolves around this special hellfire. For the purpose of this RP, it has the same properties of normal fire, except for short-term regeneration being negated if burned too much by this. While there are many specific techniques listed above, most of them are basically fire manipulation; to simplify, he can shoot small fireballs or a flamethrower-like blast, cause sparks that can ignite something flammable to fly in very close proximity, and ignite himself and his sword. Crisis Crisis is an that, when activated, causes the very air in a close proximity of him to suddenly become dense, making the very act of breathing difficult for those who can't handle the increased pressure. Shadowstep Using his dark energy, he can propel himself short distances with impressive speeds, making it great for dodging incoming attacks or surprising the enemies with a sudden attack. Using Shadowstep will leave a black trail behind him as he does it. It can be used in rather quick succession but no other demonic ability can be used in the short duration of Shadowstep or immediately after using Shadowstep. Ignorable things for this app Power of Darkness He can spawn shadow-like substance. He rarely does. This is basically irrelivent for this RP honestly Enhanced Regeneration This would only apply out of battle Hellseeing Eyes He can see if a person is dead or not. Not very practical for this rp I don't think. Pressure Basically almost exactly like Crisis; its suppose to be another mental attack over it, but I think its fairly ignorable and redundant. ChampionZero
Preferred character: Polished up![spoiler=Elijah Diamond]Name: Elijah DiamondGender: MaleAge: 19Physical Description (6'0" 160 pounds)Personality:Elijah is a brotherly figure, someone everyone looks to for help, and only the foolish dare to test. He's a nice guy, brusque but not heartless, with a dark sense of humor but a bright, contagious smile. He loves to Duel, because that's when he shines brightest. He wants to win, but he wants to work for it. When he Duels/fights, he puts on a "stage persona" and a corresponding costume, but only if he has the time to get ready, like when there's a bracket and he knows who he's fighting next. A red name means it's a hot personality, super active, whereas a blue name means it's cooler, more calm and collected.[spoiler=Stage Personas]Elijah: His regular self, Just Dueling to have a good time. Used in any low-stakes duel or when he just isn't in costume for his other ones. His outfit is Gunmetal-grey jeans, a metal-black leather jacket with a fluffy oxblood-colored inside, and black-and-red sneakers. The Anti-Hero: Elijah takes on an attitude not unlike that of our ZeXal-era villains, and leaves trauma and destruction in his wake. Used mostly against people with happy-go-lucky attitudes or other Dueltainers. His outfit for this personality takes on an edgier look, replacing the fluffy leather jacket with a knee-length crimson duster and a matching scarf that are always blowing in the wind. The Professor: Using technical talk and referring to the metagame a lot, analyzing his opponent and wearing glasses that seem to have come from nowhere, this Elijah is like a teacher out of a job. Usually used against very brutish or childish opponents. His outfit in this persona is a black vest, white shirt, and Pendulum Scale blue-and-red tie, alongside black slacks and dress boots that are worn soft enough for agile movement. The Rockstar: Elijah kind of emulates the personalities of the 5D's era, swaying the crowd with sheer Dueling might. Used often against opponents that have too much ego. Dressed like a turbo Duelist: A buckled-up racer's tracksuit, with flame print starting blue at the hands and feet, and flames crawling up his limbs to his chest, completed with a steel grey background. The Kid: Elijah's suddenly looks like a tall child; he acts all naive, talking about how he's playing to have fun, but in the end, he's still fighting to win. Used mostly for people who've forgotten that Duel Monsters is a game. He dresses in his grey jeans, a fire-print t-shirt and big, goofy, matching goggles. The Knight: Elijah becomes a red knight. Red for the fiery, honor-bound attitude he takes. Usually used when fighting someone with a totally evil attitude. Wears light metal armor and an apocalyptic dust mask. The Heartbreaker: A suave, seductive hunk, Elijah goes from boy to man in a snap. Usually against people with low self-esteem, this Elijah doesn't care who or what you are as long as you blush hard. Dressed for a cruise, in denim Bermuda shorts and an open, orange Hawaiian shirt that he tends to lose halfway through. shades complete the look.Game Face: He mostly cuts the entertainment out and becomes a more precise version of his usual self, like a bonfire focused into a blowtorch-sized flame. This is ironically the most popular personality among his fans. Dressed like his regular self, but without the jacket, and wearing a pair of fingerless gloves. [spoiler=Background:]Elijah grew up in a family of fifteen kids, and ended up being raised by his former stepdad and stepmom, after a freakishly complex divorce and no less than three marriages afterwards. He was the awkward middle child, too young to fit in with the older siblings, too old to play with the younger ones. So naturally, he took up Dueling. This turned out great, because with his penchant for acting and his wild imagination, he discovered that he was a smash hit. Enrolling in junior tournaments, he was thrilled to see all 14 brothers and sisters showing up to cheer him on, and worked up a bit of a fanbase in his neighborhood, on account of his glowing personality and ruthless determination.Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Elijah moved out of the house early, promising his little siblings that they'd be watching him Duel in the big leagues someday soon. And so he set off to become a professional Duelist, ready to take the world by firestorm! He started with underground tournaments to build his skill, develop more ruthless tactics. He consulted with master Duelists on how to better his skills. He even sought out and Dueled people that had beaten him in the past, just to see his own improvements. Now, he's ready for the big leagues, and in his past few years, he's grown up quite handsome, and he knows it. Now, after Seadown City's Calisdo King Tournament, Elijah took down Tendra Thunderham, the reigning King, and became the new champion of Seadown City, just as he'd been training for since he was 14. It had finally all paid off, and just after he was announced the winner, he disappeared. Nobody could find him, not even his family. And now Seadown is reasonably worried... "I hope these fights aren't to-the-death. I hate those." Deck: Igknight Deck. Interchangeable Extra Deck focus and LOTS of Normal Monster Support.Misc:⦁ He's fluent in Latin, and will kick your ass if you call it a dead language.⦁ Elijah loves candy. He'll go out of his way for good candy, and you could probably bribe him with the stuff. His favourite kind of candy is licorice, but NO black licorice, ever!⦁[spoiler=Themes:]ElijahAnti-HeroThe Professor: TBDThe Heartbreaker: TBDThe Rockstar: TBDThe Kid: TBDThe Knight: TBDGame Face Elijah fights by manifesting the Gunblades of the Igknights, and with certain fire and knight themed Spells and Traps.
