The Avengers, Earth's Mightiest HEROes


I Hate Snatch Steal

I'm sure I'm not the first one to do this, but this is my take on the avengers as they appear in the animated series "The Avengers, Earth's Mightiest Heroes" They are meant to be a subcategory of HERO monsters since they are superheroes.

Avenger HERO - Wasp

Level 4

WIND

Warrior/Effect

1600/800

This card can attack your opponent directly, but when it uses this effect, any Battle Damage it inflicts to your opponent is halved. If this card inflicts Battle Damage to your opponent: you can add 1 "Avenger HERO" monster from your deck to your hand. You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Wasp".

 

Rulings note: "You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Wasp" and similar text on other cards is a condition, not an effect.

 

Wasp's size shifting ability makes her good for scouting.

Avenger HERO - Hawkeye

Level 4

WIND

Warrior/Effect

1500/500

If this card attacks a face-up monster, at the start of the damage step: you can destroy that monster. If you control another "Avenger HERO" monster, monsters your opponent controls cannot target this card for an attack. If this card is destroyed and sent to the graveyard: you can special summon 1 "Avenger HERO" monster from your hand. You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Hawkeye".

 

Hawkeye's marksmanship is incredible, and his bow lets him hit enemies from a distance while the other Avengers fight up close.

Avenger HERO - Captain America

Level 4

EARTH

Warrior/Effect

1400/2200

Once per turn, during your End Phase: You can change the battle position of this card. Your opponent cannot target "Avenger HERO" monsters you control with cards, effects, or for attacks, except this one. Once per turn, this face-up Defense Position card cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. Once, while this card is in the Graveyard, 1 Level 5 or higher "Avenger HERO" monster you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing. You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Captain America".

 

Captain America's leadership helps hold the team together, and his shield can block almost anything.

Avenger HERO - Ant Man

Level 4

Warrior/Effect

1400/1000

You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Ant Man". Once per turn, during either player's turn: you can activate 1 of these effects Each effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field. *Until the End Phase, this card's ATK and DEF become double their respective original values, but any battle damage this card inflicts this turn is halved. *Take control of all face-up Insect-Type monsters your opponent controls, for as long as you control this face-up card.

 

Antman's size shifting ability (which is the opposite of Wasp's) makes him a giant in battle, and he can control swarms of insects using his helmet.

Avenger HERO - Black Panther

Level 4

DARK

Warrior/Effect

1600/800

Negate the effect of any Spell/Trap card that targets this card and if you do, destroy that card. If this card inflicts battle damage to your opponent: you can target 1 spell/trap card your opponent controls; banish that target. You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Black Panther".

 

Black Panther is skilled at infiltration and once he gets behind enemy lines, he quickly disrupts enemy strategy

Avenger HERO - Iron Man

Level 6

EARTH

Machine/Effect

2000/2000

 You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Iron Man". Once per turn: You can activate 1 of these effects. Each effect can only be used once while this card is face-up on the field. *If you control another "Avenger HERO" monster: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; destroy it and if you do, inflict damage to your opponent equal to half its ATK. *When a face-up "Avenger HERO" monster you control is targeted for an attack: negate the attack. * Target 1 face-up Spell/Trap card on the field; destroy that target.

 

Ironman's armor gives him a variety of weapons to choose from.

Avenger HERO - Incredible Hulk

Level 9

DARK

Warrior/Effect

3000/3000

Cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. When you take damage from an attack involving this card, or from an opponent's card effect: This card gains ATK equal to the damage you took. Control of this card cannot switch. If this card battles an opponent's monster, this card gains 1000 ATK during the damage step only. This card cannot be Special Summoned unless you Tribute 1 "Avenger HERO" monster. You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Incredible Hulk".

 

"This card cannot be Special Summoned unless you Tribute 1 Dragon-Type monster." is NOT a summoning condition and is taken from here

The Hulk's incredible strength and durability speak for themselves. Also he cannot be mind controlled by asgardian magic

Avenger HERO - Thor

Level 8

LIGHT

Your opponent's level 6 or lower and rank 4 or lower monsters cannot target this card with their effects or for attacks. Once per turn: you can destroy all monsters your opponent controls, also for the rest of this turn monsters you control cannot attack except "Avenger HERO" monsters. This card cannot be Special Summoned unless you Tribute 1 "Avenger HERO" monster. You can only control 1 "Avenger HERO - Thor".

 

Thor can level entire armies with Mjolnir, his magic hammer, and the lightning it summons. He's also difficult to harm

Add 1 "Avenger HERO" monster from your deck to your hand.

Avenger's Mansion

Continuous Spell

Once per turn: you can normal summon 1 "Avenger HERO" monster as an additional normal summon. Once, while this card is face-up on the field, 1 Level 5 or higher "Avenger HERO" monster you Normal Summon can be Summoned without Tributing. When your opponent draws a card(s) while you control an "Avenger HERO - Iron Man": you can look at that card(s).

Avenger's Resolve

Normal Trap

This turn, "Avenger HERO" monsters you control cannot be destroyed by battle or by card effects. This turn, if an "Avenger HERO monster you control battles an opponent's monster, it gains 1500 ATK and DEF at the end of the damage step. This change lasts until the End Phase of the next turn.
