~ P O L A R I S ~
Apparently he was only able to get the handgun as the result of a background check error. http://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo-way/2015/07/10/421789047/fbi-says-background-check-error-let-charleston-shooting-suspect-buy-gun Shows how important the paperwork can be. But I agree. No need to make this bastard into a martyr. Besides. Chances are he'll get ganked in prison.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
To be fair, I'm not surprised that he did get convicted, considering the lack of remorse he displayed. While part of me thinks he should get killed (I'm technically against the death penalty to be honest, even considering the fact he went in there and killed in cold blood), yeah, don't martyrize him. Though, if the jury does decide to kill him, then won't come as a shocker. I seem to recall one of the victim's relatives saying that he deserves death though. ----If they did get the paperwork correct in the first place, he wouldn't have gotten the gun (might've not prevented the killing though as he could've found another (illegal) means of obtaining a weapon).
