Problems with card links

When I click my so dearly made card to take the link from it (the link in the things) it just gives me nothing, over and over, and if I try to copy image route when I copy the link in the duelportal sumbit stuff, it just FAILS, it says there is no URL, so I don't know what to do anymore, same with the forum posts, please HELP

I quick fix for posting cards is to right click on the image and either save as or copy the image into a photo editing program. After that upload it to a free image sharing site like http://imgur.com/ Then link it to a post here. The rest I can't help you with.

If you're referring to the blank IMG tags, it's nothing new. Those tags have been broken since February/March, and it's not something the staff can fix. (Seriously, we've been trying to get on YCMaker's case to fix it, but no luck). 

 

As for Duel Portal, you may wish to use the bug thread in the subsection; sea can address it.

Make sure the URL ends with the image extension, and not some other stuff. 

 

(Using one of my GFX tags as an example, the code)

[img=http://i.imgur.com/JAYSUMQ.gif]

Should yield:

 

 

(Needs to end with .jpg, .png or .gif)

 

Don't try to c/p the long URL from right-clicking in the cardmaker, or it won't work.

Had this problem too. I agree with the imgur solution. It SUCKED but I uploaded all 500+ of my cards one by one. It took hours for multiple days, but I made my thread look professional. 

Hoping not to go through that hell again though, so I'm trying to reach a moderator to unlock the thread I was apparently a single day to late to add a card to.....

But otherwise, fixing the IMG problem on the card maker is something only YCMaker has the power to fix. As much as we'd like to be able to do something, we simply can't, and have no idea if YCMaker will fix it anytime soon. Like the rest of us, he does have a life outside this board.
