Darj Posted December 7, 2016 Report Share Posted December 7, 2016 Ghost Ogre & Snow RabbitAttribute: LIGHTType:Psychic/Tuner/EffectLevel: 3ATK: 0DEF: 1800During either player's turn, when a monster on the field activates its effect, or when a Spell/Trap Card that is already face-up on the field activates its effect: You can send this card from your hand or field to the Graveyard; destroy that card on the field. You can only use this effect of "Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit" once per turn. Bringing this card up because for a while I have wanted to ask about it and its presence and impact in the current TCG and OCG metas. Is it a popular side, if not actually mained? I know it has a good use as a remover of Union Hangars, even on turn 1s, but I guess it should have other good applications? I'm thinking it can also stop a Zoodiac Xyz before it multiplies (Molmo)rats as a plague. Discuss. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
~~~~ Posted December 8, 2016 Report Share Posted December 8, 2016 Ye, ghost ogre is very popular in the OCG rn. https://ygorganization.com/ocg-12052016-ocg-japan-and-china-decklists/ Look at the Card Rankings at the bottom. Pretty much everyone is maining or siding at least 2 GOSR Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
vla1ne Posted December 9, 2016 Report Share Posted December 9, 2016 not sure about others here, but this baby kills off a lot of things that can give me trouble, and even against things like the alphabet fusion, while not exactly a winning move, allows you to somewhat control the momentum of games. it's probably gonna stay in heavy usage in most, if not all decks. it doesn't negate effects under most cases, but even then, it can break up scale setting if any of scale effects are used, murders union hangar as mentioned above, handles darklord effects very well for the most part, stomps a lot of the PKfire Xyzs, and just has all around good versatility in the game right now for me. ~~~~ Posted December 10, 2016 Report Share Posted December 10, 2016 welp it doesn't murder Union Hangar. They still get the on-activation effect so they still got some value out of it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
