And for the final and latest of the PC characters for Gijinka (Tackling the NPCs will be haaaaaaard)

[spoiler=The Curious Derp]KOdFzYH.jpg?1
“There’s just so much to learn, and forget, and learn again!”

Name: Dora
Species: Wooper
Gender: Female
Age: 12
Favored Legend: Jirachi
[spoiler=Appearance]uJhCAAn.jpg?1
Dora stands at an impressive 4 feet, four inches, tall, and weighs in at 65 pounds. The objects coming from her head are actually a form of gills, which allow her to breath underwater. Her arms, like many Wooper, are very weak, naturally, and she has a specially made dress that allows her to tuck her arms inside of pockets and keep them out of the way.

[spoiler=Personality]Curiosity killed the cat, the phrase is known far and wide. However the second part is less so. “But satisfaction brought it back". Dora wants to know all there is to know about the outside world. And every bit of knowledge gained gives her incredible amounts of joy. She's a kind and easily-amused young lady. The world is one huge wonder to her, every bit of it more exciting than the previous.

She has determination and dedication, but also is quite easily distracted. She bounces from one thing to another in rapid succession. Dora doesn't really know anything about tact and personal space, and will often have to be told repeatedly she can't just run up to a person and ask about some anomaly about themselves.

Forgetful about certain things, such as meeting places and directions, but Dora has a great memory for trivia and facts about people. She likes to see people smile, and she herself is almost never seen without a wide smile on her face. Dora radiates a peaceful and gentle nature, but she's not opposed to getting dirty and having a fight or two. As she sees it as just another way to learn, and experience life.

She wants to become a famous adventurer, not for the usual satisfaction of fame, but because she desires to be an inspiration to everyone who wants to travel. It's not easy to upset her, and she seems to always look for the bright side of things, and the good points in any point of view or personality. As she realizes she has a lot to learn about the world, she can be somewhat gullible when people tell her things, though she's never upset when she learns they were false. Though she can be quite disappointed that her new knowledge was untrue, and her disappointed face is something many would want to avoid experiencing.

[spoiler=Biography]Dora was raised in Merm, as the small kingdom's princess. Her father spoiled her, and protected her, but was often overly stifling. She wanted to explore, to learn about the people outside of Merm. But he was having none of that, he would get angry whenever she brought it up. Secretly she took in knowledge about the outside world, finding artifacts and books. And on multiple occasions talking with the rare traveler in secret.

As she got close to her 11th birthday, her mother, who was sick and they were unsure if she'd survive, admitted a truth to Dora. She wasn't their child. She had come to them, at age 3, brought by a traveler who had a shaky friendship with the king of Merm. Her real father was a Lucario, and her mother a Quagsire. She should have realized this, seeing as neither of her adoptive parents were Quagsire, but she never had reason to suspect.

Her mother urged Dora to leave, especially as her father was getting more and more isolationist. Dora accepted, and left. She decided that she'd try and find the legends, as the stories of Chasers were the most fascinating to Dora. She specifically wanted to find Jirachi. One, because they seemed like a fun Gijinka to make friends with, and two, because she thought maybe they'd be able to heal her mother's sickness.

She set out, but didn't get far before she wound up in deep trouble. Dangerous Gijinka attacked her and the guardian her mother sent with her, wounding the guardian critically. But she was saved by a stranger, and the guardian urged them to take her away and keep her safe. It was clear the guardian didn't want to send her with some random Gijinka, but they believed themselves unable to protect her. And thus Dora has been spending the past year with this strange Gijinka, her curiosity only growing stronger.

[spoiler=Combat Info]Level: 8 (7)
Ability: Unaware. Dora’s amazingly bad observation skills has caused an anomaly where she is unaffected by a Gijinka’s powers giving them boosts to their natural ability.
[spoiler=Moves/Powers]Aqua Shot: Dora shoots out a jet of water, with moderate force, from her mouth. This water is produced in a special organ inside of her tail. (Water Gun)
Wag My Fin Back and Forth: Dora does a strange sort of dance where she whips her fin-tail, this causes the enemy to become complacent, and weaker against physical attacks. (Tail Whip)
Mud Bath: Dora shoots out a column of mud that covers the nearby area, which weakens electric attack power. (Mud Sport)
Zzzz, boom!: Sometimes when asleep Dora lets out an attack in the form of a sound wave. (Snore)
What Goes Around: Dora braces herself, and surrounds her body in an Aura, which reflects physical attacks back at the user. (Counter)
Special Move, Not A Care In the World: A strange ability, Dora can, for a brief time, take no damage from any attack. She however cannot attack with anything damaging, or else it breaks the protection.

[spoiler=Other]Money/Items: 500 Poke. A necklace with an Eviolite stone attached to it, and a sack tied to her waist filled with random junk she collected.

Misc:
-Has become adapt at using her teeth to grab things, sometimes doing it even when her arms would work fine for the task.
-Occasionally falls asleep instead of trying to get up when knocked over.
-Hoarder
-Sings well, and loves to sing.
-Sometimes seems to break the 4th wall.

-Worries about her parents, and the guardian she was forced to leave behind, but believes they will meet again.

From Pokemon Gijinka: The Fallen God

I love this precious child. She came into being because one of Yui's character's lost the group he was in. (One bowed out of RP the other didn't want to play one of their characters without the one that bowed out) So I had a plan to add a new person and also make my own character to take his in. As his character was a child as well I figured the best bet would be to make one of the characters be a type who would take in a child.

So I came up with Dora and said that the "criteria" for a new character would be someone who would take in a lost child or two.

It's nice when good things happen from bad. Lost some cool characters but I got Dora out of it and she's great. I wanted to go full "Nice girl Wooper" and so I created the most innocent and oblivious creature I could. She's absolutely ridiculous and doesn't make sense in most cases but she's fun and makes me smile.

She's one of those rare gimmicky characters that actually works and it's great.

I enjoy making up things about Gijinka appearances to make them less human and I love what I did here. Gills (btw I didn't even realize it but it's scientifically accurate to my knowledge in some respect) and the arm thing because well...Wooper have no arms but evolve to gain them so I decided that she'd just have weak arms. And the weak arm thing is always fun to have in writing with the way she does things.

She's not meant to be a super in depth crazy good characterization and growth type character. Something I find to be a bit of a mistake is to assume all characters have to be extremely fleshed out. Sometimes it's good, especially in an RP with a large cast, to have some characters that are a bit simpler.

Her bio came out a bit weird because I kept coming up with random bits and pieces. I really liked the idea of her not realizing she was adopted despite the species differences. I decided that her parent side stuff would be a possible sidequest but not necessary for the plot. Like Dora herself tbh.

Though there is a secret to her that none but me and my co-host know. ;)

I wanted a really weak character who would just somehow survive fights and that's the entire purpose of the moveset. Though I realized she evolves fast so eventually she'll actually probably be fairly tough.

Also yes she's partially based on The Little Mermaid in backstory. But her name actually comes from three things.

Dory the fish

Dora the Explorer

A Dora ble

So yeah that's my child right there. Who is just always refreshing to write. I actually don't have many plans for Dora except to keep on being her. She's probably gonna be really close to Yui's character, Fawkes, over time and basically treat her as a sister. She already is attached to her as is. Not much else to say except that...Gijinka PCs finished! See y'all next time for a different RP

This next one will include some salt and some regret. Fun, right?

[spoiler=The Frozen Heart]

IeAx730.jpg?1
"Do whatever you want, it won't change anything."

Name: Tabitha Bergstrom
Age: 18
[spoiler=Appearance]Fzcq5r5.jpg?1
This is actually her transformation form, her real self is a lot different. For starters she has blonde hair, which she usually has tied back in a pony-tail. She's pretty tall, standing at 5'8" but when she transforms she actually gets a couple inches shorter. Her eyes are blue, and a darker shade than her transformation form. Her skin is very pale, and very prone to burning, and she has a scattering of freckles over her face.

Her expression, and general look, is the same however.
Generally she wears regular jeans and long-sleeved turtle-neck shirts and a thick, but not bulky, jacket. On the occasions she wears skirts she always accompanies them with leggings.

[spoiler=Personality]If one looked into Tabitha's eyes they would see one thing. Apathy. Tabitha doesn't seem to care much about anything, including her own well being to some extent. She's quite pessimistic, always assuming the worst possible outcome. She says it's because it's a waste of time to expect anything more. She isn't aggressive in the slightest, and nearly impossible to truly provoke. Slow to act in most situations, not because she's careful and analytical, though many mistake her for thus, but just because it takes her some time to work up the energy to bother with anything above the bare minimum.

Tabitha suffers from crippling depression. On a good day she's merely dead inside and has no will to do work. But there are days which this becomes much, much, worse and she's unable to even get herself out of bed to eat and shower. There has been times where for several days in a row she curled up into a ball and did nothing but stare at the ceiling, her mind racing with horrible and painful thoughts.

She doesn't really care about making anything of herself, and she barely does the minimum to keep her parents from doing something drastic like sending her to a doctor. She has a strong distrust of doctors and, really, anyone who claims to want to help.

However there is, deep inside Tabitha, a small spark of hope. Her old personality was vastly different, a bright flame that burned through all negativity and brought a smile to everyone's lips. But this side doesn't surface ever, and only sometimes bubbles from the deepest part of her. However it's enough to keep her going, for now.

[spoiler=Bio]Tabitha's hero was her grandpa. Her parents were often very busy. They loved her to bits but they just had a lot of responsibilities with work. And thus she often would be sent to her grandpa's for the day, which she was very happy about. He was a former magician and was very funny and entertaining, always willing to do everything to make her smile. And smile she did, all the time. She had her occasional temper tantrum, which he took with great patience and care. Tabitha was happy, and loved, and a bit sheltered.

She didn't learn what cancer was until she was 12 years old, and hadn't realized how hard her grandpa had been fighting all these years. It was shortly after she turned 14 that he lost this fight. And that was the tipping point, everything crashed down around Tabitha. She became hyper aware of the twisted and unfair nature of the world and it crushed her with its weight. She learned how painful and difficult it had been for her grandpa, after obsessively searching everything to do with cancer over and over. For the first year she was utterly inconsolable, bursting out into tears and angry outbursts.

Her parents were patient and tried to help best they could, and they thought she was getting better. But really she was only getting worse. Withdrawing into herself, closing herself off to the outside world and sinking farther into her depression than any young girl should ever go.
The only thing keeping her from ending things was the memory of the cross that hung in her grandpa's living room. She herself was fairly uninterested in the idea of God, but she knew suicide was considered bad in her grandpa's religion and since the only strong positive feeling she had left was her deep love of her grandpa she knew she couldn't kill herself. And so she decided to keep going and see what happens.

One day she walked into her parents sorting through a box of her grandpa's stuff. She saw a strange and beautiful gem and felt drawn to it. Her parents, seeing emotion on her face for the first time in a long time, right away gave it to her. Little did they know this simple act would lead Tabitha into an entire new world...

[spoiler=Powers]Tabitha can wield her spear with wicked accuracy and deadly speed. When she transforms she has greatly increased perception and reflexes.

Along with this comes a more magical kind of ability. Tabitha can, with a swipe of her lance, form icicles in mid-air that she can then launch forward at her command. She also, by striking the ground with any part of her body or weapon, can create a wave of ice that freeze the ground around her, and can be sent in any direction, even into the air. This ice surrounds and freezes what it touches. However it can be broken out of with a decent amount of force.

Bloom, Frost Rose!: If she combines her ice powers with her spear, and strikes an opponent, a rose made out of ice will form around the area touched and over time these will spread, covering the opponents entire body and rendering them immobile. She then can command them to shatter, causing massive damage to the areas affected. However if she uses this attack she will be forced out of her transformation right then and there.

[spoiler=Mech]Type: The normal form is humanoid but it can transform into a bird-like vehicle, resembling an Arctic Tern
[spoiler=visual aid]QU7WBXP.jpg

[spoiler=Appearance]q7Qs79T.jpg
Blizzard32 is about average sized for what he is, that is to say huge. His body is decently armored, especially around the chest and shoulders, but he has a decent amount of mobility. Mostly white but with some blue and red on the edges, Blizzard32 really knows how to stand out in a crowd and yet look conservative. Many points of his body narrow to a, well, point, but they aren't sharp and are purely aesthetic. His cockpit is located in the head, right under the horn-like protrusion.

[spoiler=Weapons/Features.] Blizzard32 wields a halberd that appears to be made of transparent ice, yet is hard as diamonds. There's nothing particularly special about it, itself.

The armor around Blizzard32's shoulder can open up, which then vents out a cloud of freezing air that, when it makes contact, will cover the opponent in ice and slow them down.

His Bird form has different abilities. The wings can lengthen and sharpen and be used to slice through opponents, and there are cannons on either side of his head that launches Gatling icicle spears.

From Super Sentai: Magic Force

I'll get the salt out of the way. I was very much not happy with how this RP turned out. I think it was handled very poorly by the hosts and it caused me to lose faith quick. And since I was one of the only who were actively posting in a small roster it died really quickly and it left a sour taste in my mouth for a long time. I honestly should have handled it better though. In that I should've actually changed things instead of just butting heads with the hosts (which btw was another issue, more than half the cast were the hosts/co-hosts)

But now to the important part, the character. I was in a dark place when writing this character. But I wasn't actually in a dark place. It's weird because I definitely got into the mood characters as I write them. Sometimes, see Mary, it can be a bit troublesome. Here too.

It started with me finding that image and realizing it could fit really well for the "Magical Girl" side of her. I didn't want to find an image for her normal form so I wrote it out and I think I described her pretty well.

Looking at the image and realizing I hadn't made this kind of character I decided to make her literally depressed. I also wanted to try to actually make a character who truly felt like everything was worthless and wasn't just lazy or edgy. I laid it on thick but I felt it was necessary to make sure it was understood it was a real thing and not just "She's sad." or just a gimmick.

My plan was for her to grow throughout the RP and eventually, through actions of those around her, realize that fighting for something actually felt...good. See, her main driving force at the moment was memories of her grandfather and knowing he'd not want her to give in. So she was in a constant struggle to keep her head above water out of fear of disappointing him.

This would eventually grow into her coming to terms with things and seeing that actually doing something with life was more rewarding than she expected. That it was something she slowly began to want to do instead of have to do.

I was so excited to be able to play something like this more realistically than before and that is part of why it upset me to see it handled the way it was. I'm not blameless of course but it doesn't keep me from being salty about it.

In any case her powers seemed to be pretty obvious to me. She looked icy and felt icy so ice was the way to go. Her mech was a really fun one to me because its design is from an old game no one has played called Vanguard Bandits. It's my favorite design from a game I really liked.
Plus the bird form. I am unsure how it came to be I just was thinking that the mech had a bird-ish quality to it and found a perfect bird to base it off of.

I wanted Blizzard to have a sort of connection to Tabitha and for her to become actually attached to it. Which would've been the start of showing that somewhere deep inside she actually felt excited about fighting for something.

It didn't pan out of course and I could've written her app better but overall I'm happy with what I did because it's something I hadn't done before.

And now we move on to a still on-going RP once more!

[spoiler=The Tactical Princess]

saG8Zlx.jpg?1

"Would you like to learn about the history of snow sculpting? It doesn't have to be snow sculpting..."

Identity Information

Name: Penelope Nabudis
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Birthplace: Augusta, Galtea.
[spoiler=Appearance]7M4MK2E.jpg?1
5‘4“ 119lbs

[spoiler=Personality]Penelope is a very studious young lady. She can often be found with her nose in a book and believes strongly that you can learn whatever you need to from the words of the great geniuses of the past. This gives her a tendency to undervalue personal experience and she doesn’t agree with the idea that one would need to experience things for themselves. Though she is eager to share what she learned with people. in fact when it comes to reading and sharing knowledge Penelope can be downright excitable.
However Penelope is quite lazy when it comes to actually doing work. She adores reading, be it fiction or non-fiction, and this sometimes can lead to her refusing to do certain tasks, and can be a bit immature and childish about this at times. She knows when something needs to be done but she has difficulty tearing herself away from books. When she isn't reading she can be quite social, she's not opposed to talking with others, she just really adores reading.

Penelope believes there is greatness in avoiding confrontations. She thinks that the mark of a true warrior is to know how to avoid having to fight at all. Though she also has a bit of a stubborn side when it comes to this. When forced into a confrontation Penelope will react with sudden flight or fight. Either becoming awkward and trying to leave, or getting angry, usually depending on the circumstance and how she feels about the person confronting her.
This puts her at odds with her sister, as she’s always trying to get her to do things she doesn’t want to do. She doesn’t dislike Catriona but she also sees her as the personification of a lifestyle she doesn’t want.

However Penelope is great at negotiation and, when needed, manipulation. She sees it as if someone was manipulated that means she bested them. Just as how one wouldn’t complain about losing a duel, one shouldn’t complain about being manipulated.

Penelope is a bit frustrated with her sister, and worries that her ways would lead their country down a dangerous path. And so, while she doesn’t like it, she is perfectly willing to learn how to become a good advisor. However she often less “advises" and more “demands".

On the other hand Penelope is very caring about the people of her country. She realizes how important even the weakest soldier is. She knows that everyone, young and old, have stories to them. She doesn't seem to realize these stories she values so much come from experience. Her care helped her to be very close to the common people and the soldiers of her country. They see her as a kind and friendly individual, and many tend to be kind to her in return. She’s very easy to converse with as long as you don’t try and make her do something she doesn’t want to.

Another thing that sometimes clashes with her laziness is her desire to make herself, and others, appear presentable. This probably stems from the fact she'd get treats from her parents when she was younger, by keeping herself clean. However if push comes to shove the laziness wins out.

She strives to be a great tactician, one who can command armies with ease and outmanuever any competition. Her greatest strength, and biggest weakness, is her desire to keep everyone safe. She also has an odd habit of relying on luck in battle when she can’t find a solution that satisfies her.

[spoiler=Biography]The younger princess of Galtea, Penelope wasn’t put under as much pressure as her sister. However this is partially due to the fact that her parents realized early on that she learned best when left to her own devices. They came to her on occasion to make sure she was doing fine and to check on her learning, but other than that she was kinda given free reign.

She used this to her advantage and explored the castle and city whenever she could. She visited poor and rich, soldier and civilian, everyone she could. Her babysitter and guardian was every living creature in the city. She had several instances where she almost came to harm but a combination of knowing her way around, including secret passages, the help of her people, and a big dose of luck, kept her from coming to any lasting harm.

She never saw much of her sister, as the older girl was being more formally educated and never had time to play, or as Penelope put it, learn. This frustrated the young girl, though she tried to have patience. Thus her interactions with her sister tended to go from polite, feigned, indifference to annoyance and anger.

Combat Information

Class: Tactician. Mostly Sword, but also some Anima Magic.
[spoiler=Stats]HP - D
Str - D
Mag - D
Skl - C
Spd - C
Lck - B
Def - D
Res - B

[spoiler=Fighting Style]One would think Penelope would have a perchance for magic over anything, given her nature. However she decided at an early age that it would be more practical to take up the sword. That isn’t to say she’s bad with magic, but she doesn’t focus on it and thus it’s usually just a compliment to her swordplay.
However she’s not a great swords-woman either, especially compared to her sister. Which is something that bothers her greatly.
She tends to take a cautious fighting style at first, waiting for openings, dodging rather than blocking, and striking with precision. Tends to slash more than thrust.

Inventory: Antitoxin, Vulnerary, Pure Water

Katarina. The sword depicted in her image, this blade was created at the same time as Damocles. However Penelope was only granted it after defeating the king's tactician at a game of Chess. A high quality blade of great beauty and light-weight despite its strength.

Wind Tome. A simple blast of wind, which can push targets short distances. Or send out a cutting edge made from wind, in the form of a green crescent. Does minor damage but quite fast.

Other Information
[spoiler=Theme]TBD

-Carries around a backpack filled with books. Keeps adding to it and sometimes overfills it.

-Has a habit of sometimes making up stories and facts for fun.

-Occasionally talks to her sword as if it were a person.

From Fire Emblem: Curse of the Goddess

So this one was interesting. Note that Tactician isn't part of the class list. See, Sethera and I figured it made sense for the host and co-host to have unique classes. They, as host, were the obvious choice for Lord. So I figured being the Lord's Tactician makes most sense. The images full credit to finding goes to Sethera. We were discussing things and I believe I was helping decide which image to go with for their character when I realized that several from the artist could be related and we came up with the idea of royal siblings.

Penelope is a name dear to me because it's one of the names that I decided I would give my future child. And because of my love of tactics I figured that having my "Fire Emblem child" being a Tactician named Penelope makes most sense.

I went a bit overboard with the personality because there was just so much I wanted to express. But it really boils down to them being way too intent on book learning and knowledge from books. They are intended to be completely in the camp that book smarts beats street smarts and that street smarts can come from books as well.

While not entirely wrong this gives her a unique stance where she'll overlook personal experience in favor of things she knows from books.
However she also believes in talking to the people of her country. She honestly doesn't realize that she's experiencing instead of reading. It's done purely because she wants to help everyone.She has knowledge and wisdom gained from these talks but she still defaults to book knowledge whenever pressed. Eventually she'll, probably, realize that true intellect comes from embracing both. She puts it into practice on occasion but doesn't actually realize she's doing so.

I really enjoyed giving her a bit of a playful side because it allows me to come up with a ton of silly facts and such which has led to some of my favorite posts.

When coming up with the Bio I wanted her to be opposite of her sister in how she was raised. Less limits, more praise, and more experience with civilians where her sister had experience with soldiers. This gives her such a different view point. She believes in leading through a sort of democracy. In that she gets the opinions of others.
Except for when it comes to tactics. She is prideful enough and has learned enough of that to believe her plans are for the best which makes it difficult for her sometimes when people get hurt. She puts the blame on herself. This is again due to how she was raised. She knows the horrors of war well but hasn't actually experienced it.

There's so many things I can talk about with her so I'll try and limit myself.

First she is trying hard to help her sister because she knows one day her sister will be queen and she doesn't believe she can do it without her help. In all honestly she might think she'd be a better queen but she would never stand in the way of her sister in this regard. So instead she's intent to make her sister accept her advice.

Second she had never killed before the RP so killing affected her greatly. She will struggle to fight and will often stay in the sidelines. It's going to be interesting playing a non-combat character in an RP like this so I'm excited to find out how it works.

Third it's actually really hard to do tactics in RP because I need to not force people to do things but I need to make sure Penelope's tactical side isn't totally useless and unseen. Which is something that I have struggled with so far. I want her to do more but need to find out how to go about it.

Fourth is her relation with Gunther, my other character. At first I intended to let it be a possible pairing and created them with that in mind but I can see it easily falling into the "basically siblings" route.

Fire Emblem wise I find her a mixture of Robin from Awakening and Lute from Sacred Stones. Which was oddly not my intent at first.

Penelope is a character with a lot going for her but combat isn't one of them. She's intentionally bad at it and her only good quality, stat-wise, is being lucky and able to take magic attacks.

She's been a blast to write but also sometimes frustrating. In that her personality has several traits that are kind of hard to get across correctly. Like her reliance on book knowledge, her tactical brain, and her lack of understanding of personal experience.

But overall I am quite proud of my RP daughter and how she's done thus far. I look forward to much more in the future.

Oh and fun fact I decided she's voiced by Lux's voice actor after seeing a Lux voice clip.

[spoiler=The Royal Meat Shield]

GIO71ch.jpg?1

"I will gladly be your wall...just...do try and not be attacked too often. please, heh."

Identity Information

Name: Gunther Bove
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Birthplace: Nastre, Galtea
[spoiler=Appearance]mwg01Z1.jpg?1
Gunther has dark green eyes, and his hair naturally sticks up all over the place. He was told to put special oils in it to keep it flattened and not look slovenly. His armor is much heavier than depicted, and the cape is blue.
He stands at an impressive 6'2“ and weighs in at 210 pounds without the armor.

[spoiler=Personality]Gunther is not exactly what one would expect from a Knight. The first thing that sets him apart, and not in a good way, is the fact that he's entirely terrified of pain and dying. The mere thought of being tortured would be enough to shake him up and he tries to avoid pain as best he can. Which is one reason he decided to train with the heavy armor of a Knight. Dying frightens him more because he's constantly struggling with having faith in an afterlife, and the idea of simply not existing anymore drives him mad.

However this isn't all there is to Gunther. He's a very sweet individual, always trying to be kind, polite, and genuine. He's quite soft spoken and friendly, willing to lend a hand when needed. Though, he often feels he's not doing enough. Has very little self-worth and thinks that there are many others that can do whatever he is doing better. This can lead to him giving up part-way. Has a fondness of flowers and animals, and is very gentle with both. In return animals seem to love him and plants seem to flourish in his care.

An extremely gullible individual, Gunther is easily convinced by lies and can be overly trusting. Except when it comes to those that worship the Goddess. To them he's, sometimes to a paranoid level, leery.

Pretty forgetful, and messy, Gunther has often been scolded for his unprofessional demeanor. However he is truly a determined young man, and believes that one should work hard and do what is ordered of you. As long as it doesn't go against his rather simple morals. Those being, don't ruin nature, don't harm others, respect your superiors, protect those you can, and give to those less fortunate.

Gunther wishes to be a hero, though his slight cowardice and anxiety can make this difficult.

[spoiler=Biography]To understand Gunther's history you must start with his mother. A waitress at a tavern in Nastre, this young woman had seen many kinds of people. None truly held much interest to her, romantically, until a strong and mysterious pirate came to spend the night drinking and partying. It was one of those fast and passionate romances that lasted the night, and then the next morning the man left. But not before impregnating the girl, with Gunther. She struggled to continue working to be able to feed herself and her baby and, when Gunther was not yet ten years old, gathered enough to travel to the capital. There she became a servant at the castle itself and, through dedication on both her and her son's part, Gunther managed to be accepted into the army.

Gunther doesn't know the truth about his father. Whenever he was brought up, his mother would get quiet and brush it off. But one day she told him a story, a lie, that she felt would make him feel better. Since many kids around the town were making claims, most close to the truth, and upsetting Gunther. She told him he was a strong mercenary of justice that was murdered by disciples of the Goddess while trying to bring down an evil and dangerous sect. He believed this, and grew up thinking that the followers of the Goddess all were not to be trusted, and that he had an amazing legacy to live up to. He practiced and practiced, and generally avoided the other kids in lieu of pets and plants, so that he could become someone to make his parents proud. He didn't mind leaving his home, as he had few friends and Nastre was quite a rough place, he had been injured far more often than he'd have liked.

He met the Princesses fairly early on after his mother became a servant, and immediately grew attached to them, though he didn't outright say it ever. He grew closer to the younger, as Catriona was quite busy and was kept away more often than not. Whereas Penelope was allowed, or managed to find a way, to interact with the servants more often. When he was made a Knight, he was so proud that he went straight to the Princesses and declared his eternal servitude to them. Many thought this rash and rude, but the Princesses seemed to take it well. He wasn't a terrible soldier, but he also wasn't anything special. He always seemed to be held back somehow by his own personality. He was more or less forgotten by most, as an average soldier in the army. But Penelope remembered. When Penelope decided to go on a trip to Sochen, her father made her take a guard. However he, after a long negotiation, allowed her to pick the guard. When she chose Gunther the King was not particularly pleased, but he did not want to go back on his word. So he went to Gunther personally to go above and beyond in his service, and Gunther of course agreed. When Penelope had her reunion with her sister, Gunther was there, and he happily and proudly went with them on their quest.

- Penelope likes to make things up to tell him specifically. She convinced him once that ducks floated because they were hollow inside

From Fire Emblem: Curse of the Goddess

Ahh this guy. I wasn't going to have a second character in this RP at first. But Sethera and I looked at the roster and realized basically no one could take a physical hit and, while we didn't want to optimize everything, we figured that might be a bit much to leave out.

So I went with a Knight who literally only had Defense and HP. He even wasn't strong. Only strong enough to carry his armor.

I didn't want a typical Knight. When writing Gunther I actually thought a lot about my own personality, especially from earlier in my YCM years. I have a serious fear of pain. In that sometimes I just lock up when I think about being hurt. So I added that to him for the interesting idea of that being why he wears so much armor. It's obviously not practical for someone who isn't very strong but it allows him to protect himself from harm...or so he thought. Eventually in real battle he learns quick that this doesn't actually work out so well.

I wanted him to be over the top kind to offset his cowardice. I was really fond of the idea of making someone cowardly but still noble. It would lead to struggled between wanting to do the right thing and wanting to avoid pain.

In order to better link him to Penelope personality wise I decided it made sense for him to be gullible. Which has led to a lot of fun interactions between my two characters.

And then there's the dislike of Goddess worshipers. I figured this would be one of his biggest flaws. I made this before I knew there would be a Pontic on the roster but it worked out quite nicely that the man nice to everyone is not as nice towards one in specific.

His bio is left somewhat vague but it explains everything nicely I thought. i wanted to do a few things with the bio.

-Explain why he hates Pontics

-Explain how he met the princesses

-Explain why he became a soldier

And I think I managed to do just that.

Gunther is sometimes tricky to write simply because he's so very gentle and out of the way that it can be tough to get him to actually interact. But I usually have fun when he does get to interact.

I am worried that the Pontic thing will overshadow everything else because it's only logical for it to crop up often with one right there. Especially one who is as devout as ours is.

I hope to show more of his cowardice soon. It's supposed to be an issue but I found it hard to actually include it often because I didn't want to screw everyone over but with more people coming into the group...well not more technically less but in any case I hope to be able to be more true to his nature.

Not to say he's gonna always run but he needs to be a bit more hesitant.

Overall he's neither one of my favorites nor least favorites which suits him just fine.

Next up is a reboot RP where I DIDN'T use the same character as the original, exciting!

[spoiler=The Rebel Star]

e0eRU88.jpg?1

"You're...kidding right? No one can be that stupid."

Name: Arash "Ash" Shirazi
Age: 17
Sex: Male

Race: Nekomimi
[spoiler=Appearance]5Nn7M2i.jpg?1

With a few differences. First of all that bell isn't there, though the collar is. On the inside is an inscription that reads. "Never forget, never forgive."

Arash's legs are bare, but he wears long and somewhat baggy shorts, reaching just past his knees. Over his feet are a pair of sturdy boots. The top half is more or less the same, except that it's a single piece and not attached to the bottom. The wrappings are there as well, and the black covering on his arms are also replaced with the same wrapping. Wears a brown cape-like cloak that reaches to his waist, and has a hood.

5'8" (172 cm) and 134 pounds (60 kg)

[spoiler=Biography]Arash was the son of the mayor of the small town he grew up in. His life was spent mostly playing around and learning how to play piano with his mother. The town was mostly Nekomimi, but all kinds were welcome there, much to Arash's grandfather's chagrin. He was a bitter old man who firmly believed that their race should be kept away from the more barbaric species.

This had been a point of contention between grandfather and father, and they often had many arguments. Arash often asked his father why he put up with the old man. His father always skirted the subject. Arash would learn later that it was because his grandfather was once a deadly assassin and his father feared the man.

But that was later. Before this, a horrible event befell the young boy. When he was merely six and a half years old, the town was attacked. Arash didn't know if it was one or more assailants, as his father had immediately hidden him away once the attack started. By the time it was over, Arash was the only one left alive...Arash and his grandfather.

His grandfather told him how the attackers had been brutal, killing the men, women, and children all without mercy. He believed it to be the work of the government, as Arash's grandfather was quite the conspiracy theorist. Whatever the case, Arash's grandfather began raising the boy in a much different way than his parents. He trained him relentlessly to fight, and kill, molding him into, as his grandfather put it "The perfect avenger".

Once Arash grew older, and more willful, he began to hate his grandfather passionately, and decided to use the skills he developed to escape. He still had a hatred of the government that his grandfather installed in him, and a desire to eventually find who killed his parents, but he wanted freedom from his oppressive upbringing. And that's when he learned of the Hunter Exam. Realizing this was the perfect way to break free of his grandfather and still attempt to discover the truth, he set out to pass it.

[spoiler=Personality]Snarky as funk. Arash isn’t concerned with making friends that can’t deal with his personality, and so he doesn’t hold back. He has high expectations for others and most can’t meet them. He doesn’t want to bother with people who can’t help, or at least entertain, him. Though he does have a fondness for anyone who can make him laugh. Unfortunately for other people, Arash seems to find humor in people making a fool of themselves and failing.

That isn’t to say he’s cruel, he just is amused by watching struggles. He wouldn’t go out of his way to make things harder for someone, unless they pissed him off. And will give out his help if he feels like there’s a good enough reason to. Be it he wants to see what they’ll do next, or he wants them to owe him one.

Holds onto grudges for long times, if you wrong him you’re on his sheet list and you will probably stay there unless you do something remarkable.

Hates being forced to do something he doesn’t want, and will often straight up refuse to follow rules and laws he disagrees with. Which is basically all rules. He sees authority as something to be destroyed, and has no respect for those who expect it without giving him reason.

However Arash is passionate about fairness in some cases. While playing fair isn’t exactly a thing he believes in, and he won’t stop from taking advantage of weakness of body and powers to win, he believes that people should all be given a chance to succeed, regardless of race, age, or anything of that sort. He detests when people abuse their power to harm the kind of people Arash sees as “innocent”. Which tend to be civilians, but can also extend to anyone who seem to honestly want to help others and who represent more positive or pure emotions. Such as happy and bubbly people and naivety. Of course if he finds out you faked any of this, right to the sheet list with you, he’ll grind you into the dirt.

His upbringing, and the event that preceded it, embittered him to some extent. However he fights against this feeling as it would only lead to him making mistakes. He can still occasionally slip into a sort of sullen silence that is difficult to break.

[spoiler=Abilities]

Night Vision: A natural ability of his species, Arash can see in the dark, though he also is somewhat sensitive to bright lights.

Agility: Once more, naturally speedy. With good reflexes and acrobatic skills. This only increased with his training.

Enhanced physical conditioning: Arash was trained rigorously, and thus is stronger than any average person, though not the strongest by far. His endurance is also above-average, and he can go on without food or water for nearly twice the length of the average person.

Tracking: Simply put, the ability to track down targets, by usual means, or by scent in some cases.

Stealth: Arash has trained in the art of moving silently, and can travel nearly undetected to normal senses.

Kick-centric fighting: Arash's legs are especially strong, and the fighting style he learned makes use of kicks more often than anything else.

Sniper training: Arash learned to use several weapons, but none had come as naturally to him as the sniper rifle. He's a crack shot and knows exactly how to adjust his small frame to reduce recoil.

Piano: Arash had continued his learning of the piano, in secret, and has become quite good at playing it.

[spoiler=Nen]While Arash's grandfather wasn't an expert on Nen, he managed to bring out some measure of Arash's Nen potential. Decent across the board, but with special talent in Transmutation skill.

Barrier: A relatively simply, but effective, ability. Using Nen to create barriers out of thin air. The stronger these barriers, the more solid they appear. They range from practically transparent, capable of being broken in a single strong hit, and entirely solid which takes a massive amount of force to shatter. The stronger the barrier the more energy Arash must use to create it, and the more he's affected by them being broken.

Eventually learning to be able to see, and even shoot, through even his strongest barriers.

[spoiler=Misc][spoiler=Theme]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A4yutN6FB2M

[spoiler=Battle Theme]

-Smuggled a stuffed animal from his house before his grandfather burned it to the ground "This part of your life is over now". It resembles the creature in the appearance image.

-Somewhat shy about his piano playing, and when he plays it you can see hints of his innocent youth.

-Dislikes being wet for extended periods.

From HxH Reboot

Okay so maybe you'll remember that I had wanted a sniper kitty in the original but didn't because Yui also had a kitty? Well I leveled up in confidence by this point and decided "Screw it even if he does I will make one too." and so I did...Interestingly this time around there was another animal person too so that was amusing.

I wanted to have fun with this one. Something that was very much not how they appeared in the image. Partially because dang it's hard to find catboys that aren't...yeah.

I didn't want him to be a trap, though, because it just didn't feel right. So I made sure to make him not act trap-y at all and also modified the clothing to make him less feminine.

I went full edgy for this one and I enjoyed every second of making the character. Like this bio holy cow I can't believe it got let through like that but I'm glad because it's so hilariously edgy. Which I really wanted to try. Something edgy but written in a way that was more than that.

If I recall correctly I had worked out with Aix that it was someone else that actually killed the people in his village, that the government thing was a lie, but I can't entirely remember the specifics anymore oops. ^^;

I intended for him to discover this eventually and be really conflicted. I also wanted his grandfather to come in as an antagonist at some point.

I love snark. People have said that this kind of character is the best that I do which is good because I enjoy it SO much. I try to be very careful to have character that are snarky but self-aware because I find it really boring to see a character who is just jabroniy and rude without something more solid behind it. Characters that have basically just a foul attitude and nothing interesting about them to make that attitude actually shine. Arrogance and snark done wrong is grating.

I wanted to be sure, though, not to fall into the trap of "Oh but they're actually a nice guy and it's an act." He was a jerk and overly confident and I wanted it to be clear that he actually was.

The fairness was a difficult thing to explain. I sort of thought that he would be the type that, given his race and size, would be really bothered by those thinking it made him weak and that he shouldn't be given a chance.

I did decide to give him a bit of a heart but only for the most pure and innocent of people of which, to him, might not actually exist. I intended to show that with Bree's character, who seemed the type, because Arash would be watching for any sign that they are tricking him with innocence.

When deciding the abilities I realized that the issue with snipers in RPs is they don't often get a chance to set up. So I gave him powers, barriers, that would be useful and also make it easier TO set up. But because I knew from my mistakes with Torben that wouldn't cut it alone I made him also good at close-combat and made it that he'd do that more often unless he got the chance to use his sniper.

It created something a lot more fun, easy to pull off, and still didn't ruin the idea of being a marksman.

Honestly Arash is one of my stronger characters overall which was fitting because evidently that's how it's supposed to be in HxH.

I wanted to give him the piano thing as both an act of rebellion and a way to not blatantly give him something to soften him up. It's not something that'd come into play a lot but it was always there. His mother played it and he wasn't allowed by his grandfather to learn it but did it anyway to spite him and be closer to his dead parents.

Arash was really fun and I am super happy with what I got to write of him. I am very much proud of the posts I did with Arash even if they never got as much....notice as some of my other characters. I don't know if I'd write him again but I wouldn't be opposed to it; his character is something I feel I can do a lot with.

Oh and for the name....I just felt Persian names fit him honestly. I'm not fully sure why it just...felt right. Arash, btw, means truthfulness and in Persian legends there's an archer named Arash so...yeah. ^^;

This one makes me sad not gonna lie...

[spoiler=The Innocent]5ef309e922ce1a11bfcc5aecfcf64f8e.png
“Um, hmm...maybe we should...oh you’re going to...never mind then.”

Name: Rupert Spruce

Gender: Male

Age: 16

[spoiler=Appearance]atUhHQ9.png
5‘5“ 130 pounds. The bells in his hair are Soothe Bells. His clothing is much more time-appropriate, just simple tunic, trousers, and an old and ragged cloak that is a bit too baggy for him, especially in the shoulders.

[spoiler=Personality]A very gentle and passive soul, Rupert has trouble speaking up in most situations. He desires to get his opinion in, as he always wants to come to a good group decision, but he struggles to be heard over more outgoing personalities. Meek and shy, timid and twitchy, he’s certainly not one you would ever think of as a hero. However he has a bright mind and can quickly analyze situations when he focuses.
He wants peace, for every living creature, and is pained whenever he sees those who would disturb this peace. Self-doubt is a common occurrence for Rupert and he can’t seem to help but compare himself to others, almost always in a negative light.
Many people who see him would assume he likes Pokemon much more than humans. This isn’t true, he likes both equally, but just finds it harder to connect to humans. Rupert is gentle to everyone he meets, including enraged Pokemon. He won’t stop his partners from battling, and will help when he can, if that seems the only option, but he will invariably attempt to go the pacifist route first, second, maybe even third.
Indecisive, Rupert will often waver back and forth between making a decision for so long that by the time he decided the moment has passed.
While he isn’t a coward, Rupert isn’t particularly brave. There are times he instinctively leaps into action when someone is in danger, but he more often will avoid getting into the heat of things like that. However he often sees this as a weakness, which adds to his self-doubt.

Rupert is quite curious about the world, and especially Pokemon. He knows there are many mysteries around them and is driven to learn what he can from these amazing creatures.

[spoiler=Bio]Rupert lived a life free from the turmoil that many others faced. He was born in a small town, though not so small that it was inconsequential. His father was a carpenter and his mother ran an herb shop. He learned much from both of them growing up, though career-wise he was pretty terrible at carpentry. However from his father he learned the value of hard work, and how to live life with good humor. He wasn’t neglected by far, but he was generally left to his own devices. The town being a fairly safe one, and Rupert being a curious child, he would wander about often.

What interested him most was Pokemon. They were such amazing creatures, and hardly any humans were able to connect with them. In his town the only ones that were able to do so were his father, with his Lombre, and the strange old man that lived on the outskirts of town, with a Cacturne. He had extensive notes on Lombre, but was terrified of the old man and his Cacturne.
However wild Pokemon fascinated him. He always tried to study them but hardly ever could pull it off without either having to run, having them run, or being dragged off by an adult.

He didn’t have many actual friends growing up. Realistically he had none, besides his sister, Joan. Due to his passive nature and his love for studying he’d often end up just tagging along with other kids and sticking to the sideline.
He rarely actually got picked on growing up because his sister would always be there to defend him. Often getting into fights with the other kids because of this. “Well that’s what big sisters are for! Keeping brats away from my brat, haha!” It kept him from harm but also installed in him a sense of weariness and solidified his passiveness.

When his sister turned 16, and Rupert 9, she went out to travel. Joan had been a bit of a star in the eyes of the townsfolk. She was talented with the blade, and had an almost psychic connection with Pokemon. Rupert had been told many tales about her driving off, or calming down, wild Pokemon. Everyone was certain she was going to go far. She came back every now and then, to visit, but rarely. Every time she did everyone would flock to her and she’d tell them stories. Though she saved the best for Rupert and her parents in the privacy of their home.
Joan even gave Rupert his first Pokemon, a Mawile egg from her very own Mawile. It was from that Rupert learned of Pokemon Breeding and he began to think of the possibilities.

One day, after Rupert had turned 12, they got the news. Joan had been killed in battle with a vicious Emboar. All that the family got back was her cloak, which had been relatively unharmed but for some scorch marks.
Rupert was devastated. The only thing holding him together was his Mawile, Lilith, and even then just barely.  It took quite some time for him to go back to relative normal, though he had certainly been changed by this news. But it made him determined that he would find a way to make something of himself, to live up to the, in his own mind, shining legacy his sister left behind.

He put even more effort into his attempts to befriend Pokemon, much to his parent’s chagrin. Though he avoided Fire types entirely. That’s when he met Cinnamon. Cinnamon had been caught trying to steal food from a Primape and was being chased. Rupert saw the tiny Pokemon in trouble and something took hold of him. He went to help, and got badly injured because of it. However Lilith saved him, fighting off the angry Pokemon. “Even now I need someone to protect me...”. However, despite this, Rupert felt someone encouraged. He at least had done something. Though it took some time to recover, and his parents had given him quite the scolding.

It was all worth it in the end, to Rupert. Especially as that Minun came to him a few nights later, offering some food and friendship. Rupert accepted and now had two Pokemon friends. His parents were widely skeptible about this, especially when things started vanishing around town and pranks picked up in frequency, however seeing how much Rupert clearly cared for Cinnamon they couldn’t bring themselves to chase him off.

Rupert realized he had gotten lucky with the wild Pokemon thus far, and began to focus elsewhere. He learned about herbs from his mother, and read books to increase this knowledge, beginning to find new ways to combine them and various other natural ingredients.
But it wasn’t enough. He decided, as he was nearing 14 years, to learn more about breeding. To do that he needed more Pokemon to learn about closely. That’s when he decided to seek out the old man.

At first the man was stubborn, grumpy, and downright rude, but after two weeks Rupert finally broke through. As it turns out the old man had been a Pokemon breeder, the Cacturne having been his first egg.
He taught Rupert many things, and eventually Rupert decided to test his knowledge. With his father’s permission he used Lombre and Cacturne, eventually producing the result. Alonzo the Lotad wasn’t a marvel of Pokemon breeding, but he was Rupert’s first success in the field, and thus meant more to him than any “perfect” egg.

With all this knowledge, Rupert began to want to travel to use his skills. He was scared, after what happened to his sister. He knew he wasn’t nearly as talented or courageous as her. He was, in his eyes, lesser in every regard. But he finally decided after turning 16 he would head out. His parents wanted him to stay and so he, though it pained him to do so, left with a note explaining all his feelings. He took with him some ingredients, basic supplies, and his sister’s cloak, then left into the world.

[spoiler=Pokemon][spoiler=The Leader]Name:Lilith

Species:Mawile

Gender:Female

Nature: Adamant

Ability: Intimidate

Moves: Play Rough, Iron Head, Crunch, Sweet Scent, Captivate, Focus Punch

Held Item: Mental Herb

Personality/description: The undisputed leader of the group, and very clearly wears the pants in this relationship, as it were. Quite forward and brave, Lilith doesn't give up and refuses to let Rupert give up either. She is extremely protective of her allies, but also really strict on them. She does this with love, though she doesn't let this show very often. She's aggressive in battle, often attempting to draw the opponent away from the others and taking them on herself. Surprisingly easy to fluster when she's caught by surprise. She's clever, and knows how to use her abilities for the best, even some of her more tricky attacks.

[spoiler=The Troublemaker]Name: Cinnamon

Species: Minun

Gender: Male

Nature: Sassy

Ability: Minus

Moves: Nasty Plot, Thunder Wave, Encore, Fake Tears, Electro Ball, Charm

Held Item: Focus Sash (Tied around waist)

Personality/description: Brat. Complete grade A brat. And he loves it. He knows he shouldn't do the things he does but that just makes him want to do it more. Breaking the rules and getting into trouble is his favorite thing in the world. He's full of energy and legitimately friendly. The only problem is that his friendship comes at the price of being a target for pranks and jokes. However he totally adores Rupert and is in fact possessive of him. Wants to be complimented by Rupert almost as much as he wants to cause people annoyance.

[spoiler=The Derp]Name: Alonzo

Species: Lotad

Gender: Male

Nature: Quiet

Ability: Rain Dish

Moves: Astonish, Mist, Bubble, Teeter Dance, Synthesis, Absorb

Held Item: Damp Rock

Personality/description: Alonzo is...strange. He doesn't seem to react to much, even the most stressful and important situation. Stares a lot, which makes people uncomfortable after a while. He doesn't seem to notice. Though if he noticed he would feel bad, as Alonzo doesn't want to bother anyone. He's not shy, and can be quite cuddling on occasion. But through it all he tends to have a blank expression. Not a deep thinker, and not very observant, Alonzo is prone to getting lost. Though he often somehow finds his way back. Has a dream of being a great dancer.

[spoiler=Skills/specializations]Rupert has studied Pokemon closely and acquired great knowledge of the workings of many Pokemon and their strengths and weaknesses. Even knows how to treat sick Pokemon.
He also has knowledge of alchemy, able to create various “potions” with different effects.

[spoiler=Misc. Info][spoiler=Theme]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fg_0UuoewsM

[spoiler=Inner Turmoil]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vBTizLUTs8

Carries around a pack full of assorted herbs, roots, berries, and other such natural ingredients.
Has two extra Mental Herbs for Lilith.
Quite a good cook.
Slight fear of fire types.
Uncomfortable when people point out the slight difference in eye color.

From, Pokemon: The Band of the Braviary

I had one goal. Make a character who was useless but useful. One who would have a reason for being on a group but also was just weaker than everyone else.

So I decided to go with a breeder/alchemist.

The name might give you a tip but my goal with him was to become the "first Pokemon Professor". Which I forgot if there were any official professors in the RP but from what I could tell it was before that would be a thing.

It was difficult at first to make a character that was passive that would actually still have a purpose in the RP. Basically the idea was that he had someone who he looked up to (see Bio) that drove him to want to actually do things despite it being against his nature. I very much looked forward to seeing him struggle with this and, hopefully, eventually find a mid-ground that was more true to his own self.

I also really wanted to see if I could manage to solve issues with diplomacy in an RP for...once, lol. I've noticed many RPs diplomacy is super hard to do so I figured that I would at least attempt it. The best part of this, for Rupert, was that even if he failed it still would be fine for the character. Failure was something I expected when making the character. I knew his path wouldn't be one of a constant winner and I was totally okay with it.

The bio was really fun to make. His sister was a more "typical" character for me and it was fun to have her be a side-character instead. I definitely planned for the cause of her death to make itself known more later on in the RP which would pretty much be Rupert's ultimate struggle.

It was really interesting to write a history for someone like Rupert and it was exciting to create one where they didn't give up after a death of an important person. I see two things characters tend to do. Become really depressed or super motivated.

I wanted to go in the middle. He didn't fall apart but he also didn't get stronger in the typical sense. However it did give him more drive.

It was really fun to give explanations for his Pokemon. Given that in this people didn't really "catch" them.

This Bio is one of my favorites just because how everything fell into place so perfectly.

Lilith is my go to Mawile name and one of my personal favorite Pokemon. Alongside Princess the Rhyhorn, Constable the Stoutland, and Arthur the Venusaur. I wanted to give her some actual strong attacks because Lilith is literally the only strong thing about Rupert. It was gonna be fun to see the Pokemon be the one to take action more often.

Cinnamon. Sweet but can too much can leave you with an ill feeling. I intended Cinnamon to have strong moves but be limited in the sense that they weren't great with orders. They were going to be the "instigator" that forced Rupert to get involved in things when he normally wouldn't.

Alonzo was just meant to be a cute critter who showcased Rupert's breeding and love of Pokemon. Because despite how much of a hindrance this Lotad would be Rupert would defend him.

The themes are quite important honestly. The first is meant to invoke how much of a peace lover he was. And how legitimately pure Rupert is as a person.

The second is more for his sister. The title says it all. Rupert doubts himself all the time and believes he needs to be good enough for his sister's memory.

I....was really looking forward to playing Rupert. I got to a little bit and it was fun (especially befriending a fierce looking Pokemon who was with one of the other players) but...The RP died really fast and made me quite bitter about it. I am very disappointed I didn't get to show more of Rupert honestly. But, now he's got his place here, at least.

Next up is another three characters in one RP. Today we dive into the apparently controversial Cherry Heart.

[spoiler=Tegur]

Name: Tegur Steelskull, The Drunken Minotaur
Age: 42
Sex: Male
[spoiler=Appearance]6PDRx2b.jpg?1

Wears a kilt.

Standing at 7 feet and weighing 300 pounds, Tegur isn't as large as most Minotaur, due to mixed blood, but he still towers over humans.

Has a "beer belly" but is actually still quite muscular.

[spoiler=Personality]Tegur has a large presence. Both physically and personality. He is boisterous, and almost manically friendly. He seems to try hard to be a happy and fun-loving kind of guy. However the more he drinks the more you start to notice something isn't...quite right. He is actually quite solemn, introspective, and wise in many ways. However he more often than not makes a total fool of himself. He's torn between wanting to just forget everything and drink, and give advice to the younger guild members. So he settles for being “everyone's favorite uncle." As in, joke cracking, generous, and always willing to give the strongest hugs in the world. That isn't to say he doesn't get angry. Be it part of the drinking, his Minotaur blood, or his past, but Tegur has a bit of a hair trigger. When you do something to offend him, or he thinks you're being an ass to another person, he can explode in rage within moments. He never apologizes for these outbursts, but he does seem to get even more introspective than usual. This passes every time, but whenever he goes back to friendly for a time you can see an even more manic gleam in his eyes.

Can often be called "strange" as he occasionally falls into the drink so far that he begins to ramble what most believe to be nonsense, but he insists makes total sense. Some of it is actually true, but most of it is the ramblings of a drunkard.

Tegur is very hard on himself, and truly doesn't believe he can make up for his past sins. What sins these are, he refuses to say.

[spoiler=Biography]Tegur was once a famed sailor and pirate. Child of a warlord and a noble lady, who had taken to piracy when he saw the plight of the poor. A man who sailed every body of water there was, who traveled the world thrice over, who fought corruption and earned riches.
At least, that’s what he’ll tell you if he ever gets the chance. His true origins are much less glamorous, and much less just. His father was a strange breed. Half Satyr, half Imp. And his mother was a pure-blood Minotaur. Tegur was raised with surprising amounts of love and care for such stereotypically violent and/or bestial races.
However he still hated them. He saw them as weak, bleeding hearts who answered every call to defend even weaker people, at the expense of often leaving Tegur alone. He hated them even more in that they expected the same from him when he grew up. At a young age Tegur left home, and joined a dark guild. He was welcomed heartily, as Minotaur were not very common. And he was a great shot on top of his natural strength. He quickly made a name for himself within the guild. Carrying out any quest no matter how immoral, Tegur at first relished in this betrayal of his parent’s wishes. He had thrown away his name at that point, being called “Bullseye" because no one said evil was creative.
And then the day came where a pair of famed mercenaries of justice tracked him down, after hearing of the dangerous and thuggish assassin that had been terrorizing the land.
It was his parents. When they realized who it was they were after, they tried to convince him to give up on this, that he still could turn back. But Tegur had been steeped in bloodlust and anger at his parents that the dark guild had nurtured over the years.
He killed his parents.
His actions were praised, celebrations happened in the guild for several days. For the next week Tegur was riding high.
Then the implications of his actions began to sink in. It took a month for him to even realize, but things were changing. The quests he took on didn’t give him the thrill they once did, something felt wrong. Slowly he began to feel remorse. And it terrified him. He broke down one night, finally realizing fully what he had done, what he had been doing. He mentally broke for a few days. He refused to take on quests, hid away from the others, and took up prayer in the hopes for repentance.
The last words of his mother echoed in his ears over and over. “I’m sorry." She was apologizing, as though it were her fault her son murdered her, murdered dozens, maybe hundreds, of others.
Tegur was sick, sick of this life, sick of himself. He left the guild. Not an easy task, for a dark guild. But he managed to get free. And he started to drink, and drink, and drink some more.
He came to Cherry Heart, as it was a guild he remembered his parents praising in stories "the legendary guild" when he was younger, and decided to try to do some good with his life. Though he was unable to break the drinking habit.

[spoiler=Abilities]Minotaur Strength: While not as strong as a full-blooded Minotaur, Tegur still has immense physical strength compared to humans. However he doesn’t actually use this as much as you’d think.
Markmanship: Tegur has amazing skill with ranged weaponry, and prefers this over any other kind of combat.
Holy Cow That Crossbow: Tegur is adapt at using his custom, and massive, crossbow. It can hold a dozen bolts without reloading, and is more than twice the size of a normal crossbow. Some call it a mini-balistae.
Flute Magic: Unique to him, Tegur had learned something of musical magic from his grandfather. Though he only recently began to put it to use. With his flute he can create various emotion-affecting effects. From lulling a beast to calmness, to enraging it, to...other things. The problem with this magic is it’s mostly random what will occur. The more monsters he attempts to use it on the less effective it gets. The most possible so far is three, and even that is tricky.

[spoiler=Misc][spoiler=Pseudo Theme]

[spoiler=True Theme]

-The flute he carries is an artifact from his grandfather, a Satyr. He had left it behind when he left home but found it among his things years after he left the guild. With a note that said "Hope it treats you as well as it did me". Tegur found this strange, given his grandfather died before he left home. He treasures this flute.

-Tegur has a horse that he treats very very well. He claims it can talk, but no one but him has heard it. His name is Jeeves.

From, Cherry Heart

Now this was fun. I had to eventually do a Minotaur, right? Like it's basically my destiny.
I wasn't going to join this RP but I came around and more/less thought "If I do it's gonna be something silly". Which I feel I needed to do more of honestly. And so I decided on the idea of a drunkard, but friendly, Minotaur.

The more I created him, however, the darker he became. It came out so naturally that I didn't want to stop it and in the end I feel he has a nice touch of dark, light, edge, and realism to him.

The name just came at random to me and it felt like something I could imagine a Minotaur having. That's quite literally the only reason that I gave him the name I did. It was simple, memorable, and fitting.

I really enjoyed finding that image honestly. His size was something I decided on because I thought a full blooded Minotaur would probably be a huge creature and perhaps a bit too strong for the kind of RP this was meant to be from the start.

His personality is at both incredibly simple and not. He's more/less the typical "Friendly drunk" type of person. But he is an older man and has seen many things so I figured it made sense to have him be somewhat wise and introspective. I wanted him to be a mixture of a silly and fun guy, someone who you could count on to give advice, and someone who had his dark moments.

Basically mostly things you wouldn't expect from a Minotaur. Thooooough I did figure it made sense that they would have a natural tendency to anger.

And then we get to the bio, and this is where things get serious...

My thinking was that clearly Tegur would want to make up his past. It's not the kind you go talking about. And he's a larger than life kind of guy so of course his made up story would have to be as well. Even I'm not sure if he thinks people would believe it or if he just makes it so outrageous that it distracts from the truth.

Before I delve too far into this I would like to say that Tegur's grandfather is, in fact, Archie from IFNH.

In any case. Kids often rebel against their parents, right? Well, if you're a race that has such a...reputation as Tegur's, and your parents are so very much NOT that, how else do you rebel besides going fully to the "dark side"? I felt there was something...just not quite right with Tegur from the start. His species are prone to madness and, while he was only partially Minotaur, it must have affected him in ways that his parents just couldn't see. Especially with them being away so often on quests.

The evil not being creative line, as a side-not, made me laugh...at myself yes I know.

I felt killing his parents was an important event that he had to go through. He was so far into the evil of his actions that even after doing so for a time he didn't think anything of it. He defeated a great good who had been troubling his people for years, right?

But Tegur is still only part Minotaur, and born to people who are free of the dark side of his race, I felt that there had to be something buried inside. Some good.

And so he fell to drink. At first I feel he was likely the typical angry and self-loathing drunk but somewhere along the line he realized that he was just causing more harm to those around him. So he buried this and became what he saw as a better person, outwardly.

He truly became kinder, gently, more helpful, but he could only see his past. He couldn't forgive the things he's done so he never faces it.

Cherry Heart was his one way, he felt, to maybe make up for his actions in any way. He didn't expect it would save him but he knew that he had to do something. He had to try.

His abilities, I feel, were really well balanced and fairly interesting. A ranged attacking Minotaur was something I felt was quite...different. He was strong, yes, though not quite as strong as those who had magic to buff their strength. And his flute magic was more of a throwaway, something that would only be circumstance based and just to add some history rather than power to Tegur.

Of course, looking at many other of the guildmembers that got accepted, I quickly realized Tegur was likely underpowered. But I was fine with that.

And yeah, that horse, I just...I saw it. And I had to.

Overall...I really love Tegur. He's so different from anything I've made in so many ways and it just...worked. He was a fun character to write, even if I never got to delve very deep into his darkness. Nor did I get to explore the mystery around his flute and how it got to him. Or the dark guild that he left and would no doubt love to kill him. Would've been nice to have gotten to play him more but such is life.

You'd expect that I would have jumped on the chance to play him again in the sequel but I had another whom I was even more excited about, who you'll see next.

Oh, and then there's Smash, who has Tegur in it. What's he doing there? How does he know the Arena's host? How has his character developed? Well, hopefully my players will find this out and more.

And here comes a rather different character from the previous. Despite being in the same RP

[spoiler=Kasayee]

Name: Kasayee, The Lazy Lizard Druid

Age: 24

Sex: Female

[spoiler=Appearance]ohWDyo5.jpg

5'2" 110 pounds

Does wear clothing. But not all the time. And more of her body is scaled than on the image. At least 1/4 of it is covered in scales. The branch horns do not exist either. Though her magic can sprout them. And her fingernails are sharper than normal.

[spoiler=Personality] Kasayee is an odd girl, to most humans. She’s incredibly lazy, and doesn’t like to do work unless needed, yet she finds herself spurred to action to prevent acts that would harm others. She desires a world where everyone is peaceful and everyone can live a life of relaxation.
She knows she needs to work to achieve this, but she more often than not just lazes around and dreams of the world she desires.
She doesn’t seem to understand why all people don’t take life as easy as she does. Has a great understanding of the natural world, and knows that bad things happen, and that’s okay. She is the least judgmental person you’ll meet, and seems to give the same regard for human and animal life alike. That being said she’s fine with eating animals, because it’s just the natural state of the world. However she tends to only eat just what she needs to survive.
Doesn’t have much regard for laws created by people, only the “true law" of nature. She lives her life ignoring rules and laws when possible, but she does understand she could be punished for this, so she avoids it when needed.
Can be surprisingly fierce when provoked, and has an even sharper tongue than claws. She doesn’t have a filter and so she’ll often say whatever is on her mind. When enraged this is often venomous and potentially hurtful things. And when doing so she’s unapologetic, unless it’s someone she cares about. Which are few in numbers.
Protective of the young, as she views them as something that must be nurtured so they can grow and continue the cycle, Kasayee can be described as motherly. Though this isn’t entirely accurate. She doesn’t coddle, though she isn’t as fierce towards children as others. Still, she doesn’t quite understand how to talk to children and can sometimes come off as frightening.
Due to her Druidic nature, Kasayee has much insight onto the workings of the world, and occasionally seems to zone off as though conferring with others on certain matters.
Tends to rely on instinct to decide things for her, believing that there is a reason she feels certain pulls and is drawn to certain decisions without any rhyme or reason.

[spoiler=Biography]Kasayee was born into the Druidic Order. While her mother was pregnant, as all of her race do, she spoke to her village's shaman to get them to do a reading for her. And it was determined that the child would become a fulcrum for the ancient spirits, and should be raised as a Druid. Her mother was somewhat sad to let this happen, however understood that it was for the best. Spirits were honored beings, but all knew they could become dangerous if abused by those who held a connection with them.
So Kasayee was raised by the Druids, and taught how to use her abilities. Sadly, Kasayee turned out to be not the greatest student, and seemed to be uninterested in learning. This was due, in part, to the fact that she was able to commune with the spirits all of her life. So she didn't feel any need to really learn about it from anyone but the spirits themselves. Despite this the Druids came to love the child, as she was a bright and friendly girl.
The Druids continued to teach her what they could, however eventually they came to realize that Kasayee was a strange case. That she had to go out into the world and discover the truths of it on her own. And so they let her go, with advice and fond farewells.
Kasayee knew she would miss them, but also knew that they were always connected, through the world itself, so she needn't worry. She set out to discover more about the world, and just relax whenever she could. She firmly believed the answers would all come to her if she waited long enough. When she learned of Cherry Heart, her interest was piqued. What kind of group was this? What changes would it wrought upon the world? She felted an urge to join them, almost an instinctive pull towards the guild. And she couldn't very well refuse her own instincts.

Unbeknownst to Kasayee there were forces that would be after her. Those wishing to capture her for the rarity of her species, and those who wished to use the spirits for their own desires.

[spoiler=Abilities]Shapeshifting: Kasayee has learned the Druidic art of shapeshifting, and can use it in many different ways. In all but her Tree Form and partial Lizard Form a strong hit can shatter the shapeshifting, and she cannot hold onto shapeshifting indefinitely.
-Tree Form. Kasayee can change her skin to bark, sprout branches, leaves, roots. She can even, given some time, transform her body into that of an eight foot tall tree. Somewhat more durable than regular trees.
-Lizard Form. The shifting that Kasayee has yet to master. As she's already lizard-like it's also the faster of the transformations. Similar to tree form, she can morph parts of her body to be even more lizard-like. She can fully transform into a small lizard and when she does she can run across water.
-Bird Form. Kasayee turns into a beautiful bird which grants her the ability to fly.
-True Lizard Form. Kasayee is trying to learn how to take on her True/Primal form. Which is that of a giant lizard with great strength and endurance.
Kasayee is attempting to master other forms of shapeshifting as well.
Commune With Spirits: Is semi-connected to the Spirit World, and can go into a trance-like state to ask questions of ancient and long dead people. However the answers are often vague and hard to understand, as she’s still young.
Animal-Tongue: Can speak with most animals. They do not talk as a human would, but she can understand their intentions and feelings, and they hers.

Literally Venomous: Kasayee's nails and teeth can secrete a mild, numbing, poison. Not very strong, but enough of it can slow down and hinder a foe.

She has higher than average reflexes and flexibility, and usually fights hand to hand. Or hand to claw, as her most common form of attack is to shift her hands into that of a lizards to tear flesh.

[spoiler=Misc][spoiler=Theme, The World]

[spoiler=Theme, The Girl]

-Is an Omnivore but mostly eats insects and fruit.
-Would be perfectly okay eating a human if not for the fact that she'd get punished.
-Doesn't really put much stock in race, gender, or other such things.

-Isn't coldblooded however she does get more lethargic and slow in the cold.

-Only wears clothing when asked to. Doesn't see a need for them, as she doesn't equate nudity with sexuality.

From, Cherry Heart

I saw the image and my first thought was "Dang she cute". But then right after I thought "This could be an interesting character?" Priorities.

Thankfully I managed to go beyond the image and come up with something that I feel was pretty cool.

First let's go with the obvious. Why make a character who doesn't have clothing that isn't pandering? Why not just use the image and give her clothing manually?

Well I thought it could be an interesting avenue to explore. Someone who didn't wear clothes, not because of sexual reasons, but just because they didn't feel there was a reason for it. I specifically decided to go the no clothes route because I knew it'd be assumed to be something else. But I wanted to be able to make a character that at first glance you'd assume is pandering but turns out isn't.

I think I did pretty good at that but I could definitely do better. Mainly in that I need to find a good way to make sure it's understood without forcing it into the spotlight.

Because Kasayee, at her core, is a Naomi-like character. My favorite to write honestly and one that I personally admire. She's lazy, yes, but that's just the surface. Go deeper and you find it's not just being lazy it's because she believes in not worrying about things. I really enjoy being able to write characters that are non-artificially chill (that is to say not a character who is only chill to spite non-chill people or just to get out of work). And Kasayee is very good for that.

With her I get to do a completely different mindset. Because she's NOT human and doesn't have the constraints of a "civilized" human type character. She is able to break the mold without seeming forced. It's so refreshing getting to look at things from her perspective.

The bio was super generic I know but what other kind of backstory would someone like her have? I felt good about it because it explained how she came to be without having to resort to a bunch of "big events". Though I do still need to have something more solid about those people who would be hunting her.

Her powers are so fun too. The transformations aren't too powerful but can be useful with just a hint of creativity. I get to come up with ways to be useful even with a power that focuses on less powerful things.

I could go on and on but that's basically it. She was created because I wanted to try something strange and she became one of my favorites because it's so fun to write someone with such a strange mindset.

I look forward to being able to show her unique wisdom more. As well as show her rather...unfortunate habit of leaving allies to deal with things themselves. That's gonna be interesting. Especially making sure to do it in a way that shows it's not vindictive and instead just her believing they should be able to handle it and if they can't it's on them.

Oh, and, as a note. Won't add the second CH version because it's basically the same thing.

And the final Cherry Heart app, and the only villain I made an app for!

[spoiler=The Supreme jabroni]
Name: Gabriel Desdem
Age: 20
Sex: Male

Race: Human
[spoiler=Appearance]

YmR55hJ.png?1

5'10" and 170 pounds.

[spoiler=Personality]

Gabriel has a bit of a god complex. And by that, he has a huge god complex. He completely believes that he's the strongest, and that he's destined for greatness. And thusly he thinks of the world, and everyone in it, as his plaything. He doesn't particularly side with good or evil, just with himself. He's perfectly okay with good or bad people dying, as long as he gets his kicks and advances his own goals. That being said, Gabriel is smart. He's seen plenty of things and has heard even more stories. He knows that the "good guys" tend to be better treated, and have an easier time. And so he tends to work alongside them more often than not. But he's not opposed to acting how he wants in the meantime. Which usually is somewhat cruel, sarcastic, and manipulative.

There's a strong anger that resides in him when it comes to his father. A passion that can sometimes consume him. His care-free smirk can vanish into a scowl in a moment, and if you slight him he'll do what he can to get back at you. Even it it takes years.
He quite likes to flirt, and is very aggressive in his pursuing of someone, be it male, female, or otherwise. He isn't used to rejection but he treats it as a challenge. Too much rejection and insult however can turn him bitter and he'll respond with snide remarks and venom.
Gabriel thinks that everyone else is complete trash, only good to entertain him. And he makes it quite clear unless he thinks that being kind will yield better, more interesting, results.

[spoiler=Biography]

Gabriel grew up in a place that hated him. His parents were missing, and his grandparents hated him. For they didn't have any love for Gabriel's father, believing he had tainted their daughter. Thus he was raised with bitterness and constant mockery and abuse. Some of which left many deep scars, physical, mental, and emotional alike. Gabriel grew to hate them. However he hated his father even more. The man who had abandoned him with these horrible people who hated him. It didn't help that his grandparents would often tell him tales about why his father was complete trash. And, if trash like his grandparents called his father trash, he must be the worst kind of person.

Luckily Gabriel discovered he had a talent for magic. And it wasn't very long before he left his home, and set out to travel the world. His goal? Become strong, strong enough to remake the world as he saw fit. And strong enough to find his father and end his life for bringing him into such hell.
During his travels, in which he slept with quite a few men and women, he heard rumors of a guild called Cherry Heart. A legendary guild from a time long past. Perhaps this was his chance to fulfill his dreams? Maybe working for Cherry Heart would lead him down an even greater path.And allow him to find his father. He figures eventually taking enough quests will lead to clues of his whereabouts.

[spoiler=Abilities]

Fulad-zereh:A magic artifact that Gabriel discovered in his travels. He has no idea what it is, but he can dismiss and summon it at will. Gabriel has learned how to use his blade in combat and is a great swordsman.

Chains of Judgement: Gabriel's main magic. The ability to form multiple, durable, chains and control them at will. He can only summon two at a time, and have a range of twenty feet.
Soul Fire: A technique passed on by his father, and one Gabriel has yet to master. It shoots a stream of black flames at the target, causing no physical damage, but causing great spiritual harm and extreme pain. However he doesn't know how to control it.

[spoiler=Misc]

[spoiler=Themes]
[spoiler=Theme 1]

[spoiler=Theme 2]

[spoiler=Theme 3]

From, Cherry Heart

First a reminder that Gabriel was a secret villain. He wasn't meant to seem like one at first but be revealed. As such I had sent the hosts another app with additional information. I will get into those piece by piece.

Gabriel is actually a character from my stories, a half-angel who played the really long game of impregnating women to spread his seed and try and get them, through coercion or force, to join him so he can have an army of part-angels.

He is much much older than stated in the app.

Also that image. It's one of the most "typical, quick Google search" images and yet it just fits him so well.

I don't often do edgy-like characters but this was a great chance to do one that was memorable.

I amused myself with this app. Because basically I wanted to make the biggest jabroni, a character who was so clearly not a good guy...yet because of the misdirection employed, the fact that villain apps are a thing and this was played off as a regular guild member, people thought he wasn't actually fully evil. Which is just what Gabriel would've wanted. That's basically the main thing I had in mind going into this personality.

It was so freaking fun to be able to play such a ridiculously not good person and have him be still underestimated. It was glorious. Though I would have liked to play more sides of him. For instance I had planned with Nai that he'd target Angela and try and basically brainwash her.

He also was meant to be a sort of Riku to Hakima character's Sora, on the surface, and attempt to sway him as well.

Gabriel's bio is truthful...to a point. One is that this took place many many years ago. The other is it doesn't actually say much about the father. Who, as mentioned before, is an angel, a fallen angel to be exact. Which is WHY his grandparents thought negatively of him. Not to mention that his mother left, with his younger sister, when he was an infant in order to find his father, who had left on a journey of redemption.

He's a messed up guy. Basically he was ostracized from birth but he took things to extreme. This coupled with possible insanity created the megalomaniac who actually had quite some bit of power to back it up.

I didn't want the bio to "explain away" his bad behavior but I did want to make it seem like he had good reason. Which he would have...if he didn't go to such extremes for it.

The sword...I wanted to have a cool mildly edgy look to it and it took some searching but I am super happy with this find. It actually has the ability to drain lifeforce, though that's not mentioned here, and Gabriel does indeed know what it does. He hunted for it in his long years because it was a powerful demonic artifact.

His chains, in reality, stretch much farther and he can summon dozens at a time. i really like chain-weapons and this was my chance to go ham with it. I was excited for eventually seeing people fight against this because it's both offense and defense at the same time.

And the fire...yeah, he has total control over it, unlike what the app says.

The themes were fun. The first captures his manipulation. The second his flirtation. And the third his vengeance.

It was a lot of fun to break out this character because playing jerks as long as you do it right can be a really entertaining experience. I just wish he had more time. I never got to do any actual villain things for him which makes me really sad. But, there's always my stories.

Also fun facts. There are multiple hints about Gabriel's true nature. Some of which include.

Last name: A Portuguese word that basically means contempt. Also Desdem. Des demon

Sword name: Literally the name of a demon

Third theme: "I don't want to be an angel; I just want to be God." While the god complex was stated it's fun to look at this and go "teehee it's literal in his case" since part angel who believes himself to be a god.

Only have five left after this, which is exciting. Though since I have been thinking I don't particularly want to put NPCs and Story Characters I am unsure what I'll do next.

This one was interesting because I had two options and went with this one. The other actually became part of a different RP. The next entry actually. But for now....

[spoiler=Yandere Stalker][spoiler=Basic information]Character Name: Emilia Jasmine-Sullivan Caldwell

Character Alias:  Mute

Character Gender:  Female

Character Age:  22

[spoiler=Character's Appearance]P42nhq8.jpg?1
Mute stands at five foot six and weighs in at 120 pounds, slightly underweight. She has taken great care to appear youthful, and wears her old private school uniform often.

*Character Biography:  Oooooh mystery~~~

[spoiler=Character's Personality]Mute is a polite young lady. She speaks softly and makes sure to keep eye contact with people she's speaking to. If someone is in need of assistance, such as an elderly lady needing help crossing the street, she will drop everything to help them out. She believes that one must do good deeds, that it's an innate necessity to humanity. She's a proper girl and easily flustered when people flirt or make any kind of crude remarks, but also tends to play along with things in a friendly way. It's quite the sight when she gives her tinkling laughter at some big construction worker's sexual joke and responses with a blushing "Oh, you." She avoids confrontation when she can, and tries to speak with a calming voice when others get heated.
However there's another side of her. She's entirely obsessive and easily falls in love. The object of her affection takes over her thoughts easily, and she will do almost anything to get them to love her back. And she'll do even more to keep other people away from them. Though she tends to not go to such extremes when it comes to getting their love. As she firmly believes that her current object of affection already loves her just hasn't admitted it yet. Instead she'll just follow them, try to get their attention and touch, and keep anything she deems as bad for their love away. That being said, if the object of her affection gives her reason to doubt she won't hesitate to get rid of them and move onto a new target. "If I was able to kill him so easily, he must not have been my soulmate..."

While she believes in doing good, she also doesn't see a problem with killing. It comes natural to her and, she realizes it's necessary at times, and she thinks it feels amazing. There's no greater show of affection than killing someone with your own hand. She doesn't speak of this because it's such a messy affair and not polite to talk about, but she doesn't see a problem with murdering.

[spoiler=Combat and Ability Stuff]
Character's Latent Potential: Mute has an array of abilities, though none of them stronger than her "muting" power.

-Silence of the Grave: Mute can create a field around her, in a ten foot radius, that completely silences any sound. From footsteps, to breathing, to explosions and gunshots. She can target specific areas, such as a square foot several feet away, or an entire ten foot area.

-Attached by Fate: Mute can get a basic idea of wherever a target is. She can only do this to two people at any time, and it fades away after several days unless she keeps close to them. She must touch the target for this to be implemented.

-I Know Your True Feelings: Mute passively can sense the emotions of those she has eye contact with.

Character's Arsenal: Mute has a fairly simple arsenal. And that is a 6 inch kitchen knife and a 9mm pistol that she keeps in straps around her upper thigh.

Character's Special Skills: Mute is an adapt liar. She can spin a tale and fake any emotion that she needs to. She also has learned how to pick locks extremely well. She knows three languages, English, French, and Japanese.

Character's Goals: Mute's goal is the "pure and noble pursuit" of finding her one true love. She thinks that an organization such as this is the perfect means to finding someone who truly will love her for who she is, without faulting her for her murderous streak. She also wonders if perhaps someone in the top 100 might be her soulmate.

[spoiler=Theme]

From Contractors: Acknowledgement Zer0

First as a reminder, the Bio was meant to be sent to Dad, and thus I don't actually have it written. It's fairly simple though so I will explain during this.

When I was trying to think of a good ability for an assassin, silence came to mind immediately. And the name "Mute" popped into my head. When I was thinking of traits I've used before I was listening to random music and had found the song that is her theme. Then I realized it might be fun to make a Yandere. One who, unlike some I won't mention, won't be sexualized. I wanted to play a Yandere in a way that made it clear it was not okay in the slightest. And having experience with Mary I was pretty good at crazy.

The name just sort of came to me. I thought "rich girl" and that's what came to me. I love it and I am sort of sad it's on a character who only ever goes by "Mute". But dems the breaks, eh?

When i found the image it was basically just a match made in heaven. It fit what I wanted perfectly and just...that look with that name works so well.

The school uniform thing I enjoyed because it makes sense that she'd do that for two reasons. One being likely some mental issues causing her to be a bit stuck in the past...and two, because it makes her look that much more harmless.

I wanted to make the least threatening seeming, in act and looks, character I could. I wanted even to make her powers seem a bit on the weak end. But underestimate her for a moment and you'll find a knife in your throat.

The bio that is missing can be summed up pretty easily.

>Rich girl who was in an all-girl school until her parents found out she was in a relationship with a girl there.

>Given a tutor to teach her things instead, a male, given she was in a relationship with a girl before.

>Ends up falling in love with him due to skewed thoughts on love.

>Turn out he's a contractor himself who was supposed to kill her parents.

>She helped him do so because of her insane idea of love.

>He goes to kill her to tie up loose ends.

>She gets lucky and winds up killing him instead.

>Develops an idea that if she can kill someone they must not really be "the one" so she has to keep searching, and killing, until she finds "The one"

I wanted to be sure that it was understood that Mute is actually truly a sweet person. And without the killing she'd be a good, charitable, lady. It was fun to play someone who was so calm, rational, polite...but also a truly disturbed killer. She honestly sees no problem with killing people and actually thinks that she's a good person entirely because killing doesn't mean bad but she does other kindnesses. So clearly she must be positive in the karma points right?

Her ability was so fun to work with. It can be used in so many ways. To sneak up on people, to distract them when they realize "Wait what's going on why can't I hear anything?", to silence an alarm, and to completely silently fire shots. It was fun to have shots just suddenly take someone out without any idea where it came from.

Her second ability is obvious in implementation but also mainly used for the object of her twisted affection.

And the third is honestly mostly there for fun interactions but it can help interrogations greatly as well.

It was so great having her become obsessed with Hollow's character. I was looking forward to her trying to murder him...and Ren's character....it'd been fun.

I had so much fun making this character and she might be one of my favorites...Yet I am the one who failed here. Unlike other RPs that died out this one I specifically had fault in. I have no idea why I just couldn't bring myself to post much here. I tried but at a certain point I felt like I was forcing myself. I feel terrible about it...for both Dorian and for Mute herself.

I will likely have to bring Mute back for something. She's too...interesting to write for me to not.

And now for another where I have to work around a locked topic. Back to DB one last time for another non-Kira, and the character who would have been in Contractors if I hadn't went with Mute.

[spoiler=Boom, jabroni, Get Out the Way][spoiler=General Information]Name: Sofia Ansel
Alias: Salvo
Age: 26
Gender: Female
[spoiler=Character's Appearance]gwRtIaN.jpg?1
Salvo stands at a commanding five foot two and weighs 125 pounds. She has a necklace with a cross around her neck

[spoiler=Personality]Sofia comes off as carefree and cocky. Full of spirit and aggression, but not a negative aggression. More like she can and will be in your face about anything she disagrees about. However she argues with a cheeky grin on her face. She doesn't seem to care who actually wins an argument, just wanting to be able to express herself. She doesn't give up and can be considered a bit of a try hard when it comes to other aspects of life. Even if the odds are against her, if she sets out to do something, she's going to do her best to do it. Not afraid of death, she will often take risks to accomplish her goals.
Somewhat flirtatious, though it's mostly playfulness and teasing. She tends to see interacting with people as a game, and doesn't take it very seriously.
She seems to be melancholic about killing. To her it's just something she has to do, but not anything she particularly cares for. There are times one might find Sofia deeply contemplating, well, everything. But she can easily brush it off and turn on her "energy" switch at the drop of a hat.
That being said, Sofia is clever. She knows how to make plans spur of the moment and loves when everything comes together. She lives for the rush of...well whatever can get her adrenaline pumping.
Interestingly, Salvo is quite religious. Always offering up a prayer for the enemies she brings down, even if they're demons, and confessing her sins. Despite this she has a distrust of church so tends to make it a private talk with God. "Hey it's me again, I funked up, sorry Father."

[spoiler=Biography]Sofia had, all together, a messed up childhood. When she was 13 her sister was born, and her mother died in the birth. Then her father revealed to everyone that he was gay and had been keeping up the ruse for his parents and for Sofia. This sent the girl into a confused spiral of frustration and distrust. However it didn't stop there. Her father had been a prominent figure in the local church, and when news got out people were pissed. Not everyone, but enough. There was a split in the church between those who believed in forgiveness and love, and those who thought him a liar and sinner.
This escalated one night, two years later, when the priest got together some of the more extreme members and beat her father, sending him to the hospital and eventual death.
Nothing happened to the priest, even though Sofia had witnessed the crime herself. And she grew detached from the church. She began to raise her little sister as her own kid from then on, somehow keeping her faith in God to see her through. Though she took some more unsavory methods of earning money. One of which being street racing.
However she wasn't able to move, so she was forced to see the people who killed her father regularly. Eventually this made her break. She researched different methods of revenge until she settled on something big, something that'd make a statement.
She had learned how to make a bomb. She set up this bomb in a location she knew the priest and several others who were involved with the attack would be, and detonated it.
Once she realized what she had done, Sofia almost broke down even farther. However she didn't expect what would come next. As it turns out, the priest was actually a D class demon, who had managed to barely survive the explosion, and come after her. He was greatly weakened, however, and Sofia managed to kill him. But not before getting blood all over her face, and in her mouth.
She didn't have any idea what was going on with her, and what had just happened. That plus the weight of her murders pressed upon her. But she knew she had to continue on for her sister.
The remaining people who had worked with the priest came to her house that night, and set it ablaze.
Sofia was barely able to make it out, with her little sister, but wasn't able to save anything else. She was broke, homeless, with a kid to feed. Desperate, she was discovered by a member of the DHG. They made her an offer she couldn't refuse. A chance to give her sister a better life.
And all she had to do was kill a couple hundred demons to do it. "Easiest choice of my life".

[spoiler=Abilities/Skills]Salvo's power is quite strange, and seemingly not related to her alias at all. She can freeze time, but only for inanimate objects, no larger than around six square inches, and only 10 at a time. This freeze can last for up to a minute at a time. It essentially holds the object in place and, if it has a timer, stops the timer from going off.
She often uses these for her grenades, holding them in place and time until she can detonate them all at once. Hence "Salvo".
Sofia has decent combat skills but she's still learning, both close quarters and gunplay.
She can drive like a madman and make practically perfect, if extremely risky, turns on a dime.
Has learned a lot about explosives and knows how to make, arm, and disarm, them.

[spoiler=Other]-Her preferred weapon is the M4A1 Carbine, which she still hasn't quite gotten the hang of the aiming aspect.

-The backpack is actually wired up to be a powerful bomb, to which she has a detonator that has two buttons that must be pressed one after the other to go off.

-Another weapon she holds is a Milkor MGL.

-She also carries a switchblade, brass knuckles, and usually at least one backpack filled with grenades. All carefully secured, of course.

-Often visits her sister, who is currently living with a couple that was found by the DHG to take care of her.

Little Sister, Isabelle

From Demon Blood 2.0

This character is amusingly opposite of Mute in many ways. The first of which is the name thing. I actually forget her real name sometimes and like her code-name more; whereas I really liked Mute's real name and couldn't ever use it.

Basically I decided on Mute because I figured that DB I would be able to be a lot more hammy with the whole explosion thing than in Contractors.

This character came into being because I had that imaged saved for a future character for a while. And when I saw it. And heard the song that is her theme. It just clicked with me.

I wanted a confident and somewhat trollish character, similar to Morgan and Brianna, but one that wasn't...well, a total jabroni. So that's the thought I had going into the personality. As I went I had in mind an older sister who tries really really hard to not worry about the life she has because if she did it'd be overwhelming. She's put into a position where she had a rough past, has a sibling to worry about, and needs to fight demons to survive. It's not something just anyone can do. I already had Kira, who only barely makes it through, Grigoriy who more or less powered through on willpower and force, so I went a different direction with Salvo. Someone who gets by with sheer moxie and reckless abandon.

It was really fun to see someone who was such a bundle of energy who also wasn't naive and/or super young.

Plus it allowed for all kinds of interactions I wouldn't be able to do with Kira.

The bio was a bit awkward to adjust from the Contractor one, but not as much as I thought. More or less instead of the priest being a regular human who she finished off no issue and got the interest of an assassin group, it was a demon who she struggled to finish off and got the interest of a demon hunter group.

I through in a ton of deep and heavy sheet into this one and I worry it might be a bit over the top but it also...it just works for me. It shows a dark side of religion but, because she still loves God, shows that it's not the only part.

It gave her motivation to want to kill demons and fight for the DHG.

It forced her to mature fast to take care of her sister.

But it allowed room for her to develop her personality that came to be because she refused to give in.

Honestly I really love this bio. It might be a bit much but it just...works.

I wanted to do time powers that weren't completely busted. This was my attempt. I think I did pretty good honestly. It's not super game changing but it can allow for a lot of things. Lots of fun versatility. And it lets me use explosions without having them just have explosive powers which was cool.

The one thing though is I had to self-regulate a bit. For instance technically she could freeze a rock in front of a charging beast and the beast would tear itself apart as it hit the object that would not move.

And of course I had to give her a bit more than boom cause otherwise in many situations she'd be useless.

I had intended to have the sister appear throughout the RP in small bits and allow it to be a potential plot hook. Or a potential "I trust you enough meet my sister" moment.

Salvo was fun to play because devil may care attitudes are just entertaining for me to write. Plus her abilities were really amusing to see in action.

I had wanted to do a lot more with her. And there's a lot we didn't get to explore in the RP.

Her surprising friendship with Oculus, the leader and Yui's character.

Her former relationship with the leader of the enemy group. Which would have been really exciting and emotional. Might have led up to Salvo using that backpack bomb (Which Oculus had the other remote for) to try and take out the enemy leader.

And another thing I didn't get to touch on was how Salvo actually hates other people using her real name. It was the name given to her by her father and Salvo was the name she chose when joining this group. She felt her real name was reserved for special people. It would have been fun to see who ever got to call her Sofia.

Salvo was a great character for me and I am glad I made her...If only I could've succeeded in my attempt to keep this DB going forever. Alas.

How are you so great at making applications? This is just incredible. Occasionally I take a look see. Every time, I'm glad that I did.

Honestly i don't know how to respond to this, thanks ^^;

All I really do is go down the list of parts of an app and...going, just figure out a basic idea of what I want and write. Sometimes starting with a backstory or personality trait or a power or whatever that I want to try out and just go with what feels natural from there.

I am bad at explaining things

And now for the third to last character here. Another from my own RP

[spoiler=Water Witch]yI83IwS.jpg?1
“I suppose...we should go save the world now.”

Name: Keres Lazuli
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Race: Human
Element: Water

[spoiler=Appearance]QWJ27Rc.jpg?1
She’s not the cat, sadly. Her boots don’t actually have those heels, and she usually wears both. Stands at 5‘4“ and weighs 120 pounds.

[spoiler=Biography] “You see, love is a strange thing; though that doesn’t matter for this story.”
Once upon a time there was a beautiful young witch named Daphne. She was a curious girl who liked to stray out of the swamp to see the world outside. It was on one of these adventures she met Phoebus, a young man who was as handsome as he was arrogant. He tried to add Daphne to his list of conquests, not realizing what she was, and she rebuked him time and time again. Eventually she was attacked and injured by a monster on one of her trips. She would have died had Phoebus not came around. Afterwards he once more attempted to conquer her, though she once more refused. Angered, Phoebus took her by force. As he started to leave, once the deed was done, Daphne caught him off guard and killed him with a spell. Not long after she realized she was pregnant. She attempted to use a curse to abort the baby but for some reason it failed. Believing it meant the baby was protected somehow, she went through with the birth, and Keres was born.
Her mother wasn‘t a very attentive woman, and seemed to not bother with her much, but Keres didn‘t seem to mind. She was too focused on being fascinating with the strange world around her. She didn‘t quite understand the danger of the world as her mother‘s wards kept the house relatively safe from harm. She was especially fascinated with magic, but her mother seemed adverse to actually teaching her.
In fact by the time Keres was 7, Daphne had become fed up with seeing the girl, and left her in the house alone one night. She was in a hurry and even forgot to take her hat with, which Keres clung to as some tether to her missing parent. The young girl was unable to fend for herself, and the wards were starting to fail, when a Templar came across her on one of the council‘s rare quests into the swamp. She was brought to the Mage Tower to learn magic, and for the first time in her life she saw the world outside of the swamp.
“Hello everyone, my name’s Keres! Oh, my hat? Isn’t it cool?”
When she first was introduced to her classmates Keres was overjoyed. People her sized, it was amazing! She was a bright and cheerful girl and they all seemed to accept her, not caring that she seemed to be different than they were. Though her teachers seemed to treat her with a bit of scorn and distrust, she didn‘t get the same feeling from her classmates and thus was able to have a happy start to her schooling. She proved to be an adapt pupil, the first of the children to exhibit potential to connect with a specific element, something that usually happens in the later years. It wasn‘t until she was ten that things started to take a turn for the worst...
“No...I’m not like that.”
She was playing with some other children as usual, when one of the older kids, as this was the age they started to mingle with a different group than normal, came to her and accused her of being a witch. Keres, not understanding the problem, told them her mama was one.
The boy then started to call her horrible things, saying how witches were evil people who cursed others and that all her friends must be under her spell. More and more children began to come to her and agree with the boy and soon enough even her friends left her side, saying all sorts of lies about the things she made them do. Keres went, crying, to the teacher. Who did the bare minimum to get the other students to focus on something else.
The next few years of Keres‘ life was being the butt of jokes, being tripped, having her hair pulled, and being all around excluded and bullied.
Upon entering her awkward teens, Keres started to become used to the treatment, and tried her best to avoid trouble. People seemed to have gotten bored of directly teasing and attacking her, and she sort of faded from everyone‘s minds. She still got fearful glances and whispers, and the occasional taunt or prank when people felt bored, but for the most part they just ignored her. She did her best to focus on her studies and became extremely proficient. However she never got much praise, and what praise she did get she tried to deny so that people wouldn‘t take notice of her.
“If that’s how it’s going to be, I have no place here.”
Eventually she gave up on the school. They stopped teaching her more advanced classes at a certain point, seemingly not wanting her to learn too much. She discovered that the Templar that had found her wasn‘t supposed to bring any students back with him from the swamp, and that he had died when she turned 14. She started to realize the school wanted nothing to do with her, and she was just there to keep her out of trouble and so they could monitor her actions. After being taught the same basic information for the third year in a row, Keres decided that enough was enough. She managed to leave the Tower at age 16, though admittedly they didn‘t try very hard to keep her there. What she didn‘t know, at first since she was able to discover it eventually, was a group of Templar was ordered to follow her until she reached the swamp and kill her if she seemed a threat. It was a harrowing journey and she was forced to rely on help from a traveling band of mercenaries who, to her surprise, seemed to be fine with her joining their group as they traveled north. Several of them died along the way and she eventually parted with them to go to her home in the swamp.
“...”
Keres fought off the monsters that had taken residence in her home, and used her magic to re-start the wards her mother had placed, and began life in the swamp. Her mother had left behind a large library, and she spent much of her time reading it and writing her own thoughts, studies, and theories down in journal after journal. There were many times she grew depressed that she would never really make a difference, and that her work wouldn’t amount to anything.
Eventually she found a stray cat who had managed to avoid being eaten by a zombie by trapping it in a mud pit. She named it Lucky and took care of it. By this point she had all but stopped speaking, and her outer appearance had taken on a rather uncaring and lifeless look. However she grew to love this cat and it invigorated her to keep up with her studies.
“Perhaps things can be different now.”
One day she woke up to see Lucky staring at her, standing on her chest. She watched him quizzically as he jumped off the bed and towards the door. She got dressed and followed her out, to the edge of her ward, where she discovered a spirit floating there. It introduced itself as a spirit of Water, and insisted that she make contact with them. Once she did it explained to her that she was one of the Chosen, the Chosen of Water in fact. And that she was meant to save the world.
A small spark of hope flared within her, and a passion she forgot existed within her soul surged to the forefront of her mind. She realized that she had a chance to do something to change her fate. She began to practice more magic, trying to grow used to working with the spirit, who she named Flux, and prepared supplies for what she expected was going to be a grand journey.

[spoiler=Personality]Keres is a quiet girl. She is quite calm, and able to adapt to many situations. She seemed to be awkward and twitchy around people, due to her past, and while she doesn’t try to ignore others at times it can seem like she’s being cold or aloof. In fact she almost always has a dull, bored, expression on her face. She does everything somewhat slowly, carefully, afraid to make a mistake or cause anyone trouble.
However she’s quite helpful, and actually fairly sociable when she feels comfortable. She can’t stand to see people in pain, physical or emotional, and always goes out of her way to talk to those that seem to be having some sort of problem. This can be off-putting to people due to how she has a semi-mechanical way of talking and expressing herself.
There are many times Keres simply forgets to speak, used to not having to, and this can lead to her not getting why people don’t understand what she’s trying to accomplish. She also doesn’t like being disturbed if she’s focused on something, and struggles not to get angry at those who unknowingly distract her.
She’s an avid reader and writer and tends to go out of her way to read a book she discovered, sometimes in the middle of a conversation. She also has a tendency to write all her experiences and discoveries in her journals. This holds true for meeting new people, seeing new spells, and fighting new monsters.
Analytical about many things, she can get lost in her theories and observations quite often. As she grows more used to talking she winds up saying seemingly odd or far-fetched things. No theory is too strange for her to consider and she has an extremely open mind about things.
Ironically, though you wouldn’t guess it by looking, there’s a fire deep inside of Keres. She has hope, and determination, and a passion that can rival anyone else. She refuses to give up once she has a task and will follow her path with a strong and dedicated purpose that can border on zealously at times. She believes that anything is possible with hard work. However this belief is fragile, despite how strongly she feels, and can quite easily be bruised, if not beaten down entirely, with repeated failure or upon witnessing multiple acts of evil, greed, and other negative emotions.

[spoiler=Skills and Equipment][spoiler=Combat Skills]-Magic Focus: Keres’ training in only magic means that she’s capable of more diverse magic than others might.
-Waterbending: Using her magic, Keres can move water to use it as a weapon. Usually this is in the form of a whip, or a torrent of water, but it has other applications. Limited in that it needs water around to use, and the amount of water can change the effectiveness. Her main offense. However it can also be used to move short distances. Usually can’t control more than around 100 gallons of water, and the more she controls the more strain it puts on her.
-Liquid Relief: Can soothe injuries to dull pain, and temporarily stop bleeding.
-Illusions: Still not as strong as she’d like, Keres can make the opponent see an image and/or hear a sound that isn’t there. Can only target one at a time, and depending on the target’s will power it may fail.

[spoiler=Non-Combat Skills]-Keres is a skilled cook, able to make meals out of not many ingredients. Though she’s used to cooking for just herself.
-Able to identify edible berries, plants, fungi, etc.
-Has a good singing voice. Though she's very much out of practice, having only occasional sang for a cat.

-An adapt dancer, a book about dancing being one of the few non-magic or nature related book in her house.

[spoiler=Equipment]-Several simple robes, one is heavier than the rest, for colder weather.
-A single pointed hat, slightly water resistant.
-2 potions to recover stamina.
-2 potions to get rid of minor poison/illness.
-Ivory handle brush.
-backpack filled with journals, quills, and ink.

[spoiler=Other][spoiler=Themes]

-Has a pet cat who she entrusted to watch over the house.
-Likes being barefoot but knows it’s not a safe thing to do usually.
-Ironically not a very good swimmer
-Enjoys the feeling of a brush being ran through her hair

[spoiler=Spirit Information]Name: Flux
[spoiler=Appearance]DornwYo.jpg?1
2 feet in length. Sometimes shrinks or grows six inches.

[spoiler=Personality]While Flux doesn’t really speak much, they are a very curious creature. You can often find them closely observing something or someone, sometimes for hours on end. Has extreme patience but no real concept of time, so they can come off as scatterbrained or irresponsible at times. They seem to really enjoy the world, and see beauty in many simple things. Flux is the most talkative when they’ve found something they think is particularly inspiring. Which tends to be something unusual like a moss covered stone or a pile of dead leaves.

[spoiler=Skills]Transfered: When Keres absorbs Flux, she simply gains a boost in her abilities. This is only temporary, lasting upwards to five minutes at a time, but it can provide much needed strength to her spells.
Personal: Flux can, a few times a day, touch non-spirits and Chosen and cause them to have a brief, intense, hallucination.

From The Chosen

So I had decided that I would take the element that was last picked for this RP. And I had people interested in all the elements except Water so I figured I might as well make it.
Which is nice for me because Water is actually one of my two favorite elements.

So when I was figuring out what I'd use for the Chosen I went and found images for each of the elements. I saw this one and it just resonated with me. I like magic and witches in general and the image all together just looked great.

Looking at her she seemed a bit lazy, but she was also studying and such, so I figured she was less lazy and more languid. Which fits for water.

She seemed to be living on her own despite being young, and had a pet cat.

And this made me think about why that would be the case. The bio actually came before anything else. And I wanted to do it in segments, each with a quote.

The first was all about the unfortunate circumstances of her birth. I wanted someone who would have parents that weren't there for good reason. One was dead and, well, as bad as it is it makes sense someone might not quite be attached to a baby made through something so terrible.

I wanted Keres to have started out full of hope and happiness and see how it could turn into someone much more solemn and silent. It showed how adults and their ideas can taint innocence. The children accepted Keres at first until they grew older and realized that the adults disliked her for her seeming witch-origin.

It was really interesting to get to see a change of character throughout the bio. I admit I went a little ham with this bio. I couldn't help it. Keres's history just sprung into my head all at once and I just had to write out the entire thing in what was basically a short story format....This was my favorite bio to write honestly.

And really her personality could have been described in her bio. I wanted to make a more silent character but didn't want it to be purely "She doesn't talk much". She's actually a very emotional person but due to isolation has no idea how to express it. I really loved this concept and was so excited to have the idea.

Her powers are really simple honestly but they are exciting. Whip weapons are wonderful and illusions can be fun, though haven't been able to use it much so far.

Honestly I just worry that I am not giving Keres justice. She doesn't get a chance to really do much because her stuff is mixed with host duties. I will try harder to show more of her. Though I will admit she's a hard character to actually write in this format.

In any case I really hope Keres doesn't die because I want to bring out more and more of her.

She has many chances to interact and grow with each of the characters left all in different ways and that is so exciting.

  • 2 weeks later...

Here we go we're in the end stretch. Two more characters, from the same RP, and then all the PCs will be catalogued here.

First, the character that got into the RP

[spoiler=Just A Regular Girl]Name:  Bethany Cunningham. Was named after my Grams, she was a nice lady, so I don’t mind. Last name my brother says was our dad’s. Might be, might not be, doesn’t mean much to me. I like rabbits though so it’s not all bad.
Gender: I know it’s hard to tell what with the long hair and, you know, breasts, but yeah I’m a girl.
Age:  22; time sure flies when you’re doing nothing with your life don’t it?
Species: Just your plain old boring human here.
[spoiler=Appearance]D5I9ziF.jpg?1
So...I have to describe myself now? Awkward. I’m 5‘7“, kinda tall, I suppose. Not one of those gals who care about her weight much. It’s somewhere around 134 pounds. My hair? Well, it’s kind of a mess. It’s so red, probably my dad’s influence. Mom was a blonde. Brother was a blonde. Everyone a blonde but me. Plus it just doesn’t like to lay flat, always getting in the way. Still, can’t bring myself to cut it, mom always preferred it longer...Well, anyway. Not much else to say I guess, right? Oh, the clothes. Yeah, I wear warm clothing a lot. You’ll...get why soon.

[spoiler=Biography]This is where I explain where I came from and all that? Mind you most of the beginning stuff I learned from my brother. My mom got together with my dad at some kind of event. He was hosting a party or charity I don't really know. In any case he met my mom, thought she was pretty, and proceeded to court her for two straight years. Sounds romantic right? Or creepy. The two words aren't all that far apart I guess. So anyway once they finally got together they, er, got together. My brother was born before the wedding. I followed a whopping fourteen years later. Things went wrong fast. Dad left. No one would tell me why so I kind of pieced together it was cause of me.

See, I suppose you could say my birth wasn't the most pleasant thing. Turns out my dad was a magician of sorts. Not like a street performer. Someone with real magic. He got my mom into it. But she was...well she was never good at being careful. Something happened that made her get sick, real sick, then she had me. Then she died four years later. Brother raised me with the help of Grams, until...well she died too. Was never quite sure what happened with that one. She was a healthy old lady but I guess that sort of thing happens right?

So then it's me and my brother. Ah, guess I should tell his name, sorry this is kind of weird for me. Conner. Conner basically raised me, best he could, really was the best brother anyone could have. He got sick. He didn't die like mom. Just went into a coma. Not that it's much better. So there was me, twelve years old, alone, and just finding out I am a freak.

sheet sorry I should have explained that first. I've never talked about this stuff. I guess when your parents are way into magic sometimes you get some of that mumbo jumbo running through your veins. Too bad for me I apparently got a triple dose. I was born with magic. A kid with magic is not exactly the best thing. Especially ice magic. I froze the house twice. Really embarrassing. Luckily it was Winter and we called it "extreme Christmas decorating". Conner was brilliant at making this crap up, no idea how everyone always believed him when he made excuses for me.

In any case that was rough. Still is rough. Don't really want to talk about that. Doesn't matter for this anyway.

Where was I...right, alone and a freak. Turns out I'm not the only person with those circumstances. Found a whole gaggle of kids who were abandoned and lost. Seems the big city doesn't quite like those types so I had to grow up fast. Was the oldest there and I guess it kinda became my responsibility to fight for them. The magic came in handy here. No one wants to mess with orphans that can make blizzards.

It was great, sorta, except you know...starving, cold, homeless...okay it was sheet. Then it got shittier. Killed a guy. A few guys. Cops. Magic is scary as hell. Kind of decided not to use it when I could help it. Granted that wasn't always possible. So I learned how to actually fight. I was good. Super good. It kind of is upsetting how good. I just kept getting better. Probably also some kind of magic but at least I never killed anyone with my fists.

But then I get this letter. Some wack-job handed it off to me and told me it was important. I read it. Threw it away. Got like twenty more of the things until I finally started to take it seriously. Me in a tournament? It's ridiculous. But that's a lot of money. I might be able to save the kids with it. I might...be able to save Conner. I might not be the best but I have my eyes on that prize at least as much as anyone else.

[spoiler=Personality] So...this is like those school projects where I list my good and bad qualities? Never was good at that. Well here goes....I've been told I'm a nice person but that's probably just cause I really don't want any trouble. Causing a stir just isn't my style. It's all so pointless. The biggest thing I learned from the streets, god that sounds tougher than I really am seriously, is that the only way to really win fights is not to fight.

Kind of stupid to join a fighting tournament then right? I never claimed to be smart. I'm kind of an idiot probably honestly. Never really was good with learning or anything like that. I guess I relied on whatever experience I gained and instincts to get through the day. Worked for me up until now.

Except that I kinda tend to stick to myself. Those kids I protect? Some of them don't even know my name. I talk, yeah, for sure. What kind of cruel person wouldn't chat up a storm to those scared and lonely kids? Course I talk to adults too, probably just a habit at this point.

I guess I just don't really feel comfortable opening up. I wouldn't say something cheesy like my emotions are as cold as my magic but...It's definitely harder than it should be to really get a grasp on how I feel. Never really hammered down much about myself. Except that I want to make sure I don't die. I might be a bit too scared of that honestly. I'm totally ashamed of this but I can't be certain I wouldn't do something bad to keep myself alive.

Maybe I am a cruel person after all. I suppose as long as I keep fighting for those kids it'll give me some karma points? Or does me thinking that mean those are null? Why the hell is philosophy so complicated? I don't want to have to think about this. But I can't help it you know? These thoughts just come out.

I guess overall I don't like who I am right now. People seem to like being around me. Sometimes I can pry laughter out of them. People in general aren't hard to make laugh Especially kids. Just gotta "trip" on something and they're laughing up a storm.

Suppose I just don't want people to know how bitter and twisted I can be. I can't let those kids know I think about dying so much. Nor that I contemplate using my abilities to get what I want. They don't need to know my struggles. God knows they have more than enough of them without me dumping that baggage onto the poor things.

[spoiler=Combat Info]Weapon(s) of choice:

Generic Pistol: I don't like it. I really don't. But sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

Gloves: These things are so durable. Managed to get some custom made. No idea what the guy did to them and I'm pretty sure it was illegal but I've punched things I really shouldn't be able to punch without hurting myself.

Boots: Same deal with the gloves. Except you know. More kicking.

Power Array: Like I said. Ice magic. I like it less than the gun but this is for what I can do not what I want to do. So far there's a few things I've discovered I can do with ice.

Creating an icy wind that spreads out in a sort of cone. Tends to reach around 10 feet forward and comes out at a 45 degree angle of cold. If caught in it first you slow then you freeze.

I can also send out these spears of ice. But if I go to fast it'll tire me out. I figure I can pump out one every few seconds. If I focus I can form several before letting them fly.

Then there's that blizzard I mentioned. It's what it sounds like. A large area around me gets covered in a snowy, hail-filled, mini-storm. Drains me the longer I keep it up though.

...I've experimented in the past with something else. A sort of icy laser beam. Probably can only do it once without rest and it's really devastating. Not something I want to mess with much.

And then there's that fighting ability I talked about.Nothing fancy, nothing professional, street fighting is best I can say but it's worked wonders for me. Helps that these probably black market gloves (seriously why did he sell me these so cheap?) make me be able to grab onto even sharp objects.

[spoiler=Misc]

Battle Theme

-Yeah the ice stuff...kinda makes my body pretty damn cold. Hence the clothes. I even sleep fully clothed.

-I'm sure you guessed it but kids are most definitely my weakness. But also my strength, ya know? Yeah, corny as hell.

-I love soup. Seriously. Soup is the best. Like it can be anything. Anything! Isn't that amazing!?

From Golden Gate Empire: Dreams of Grandeur

Yes. It's first person. I wanted to try it since I never did that before and it was...interesting. I think it worked overall though there are some awkward moments, especially the powers and abilities stuff.

Also just noticed one of the themes videos was copyrighted lol

When Dad said I'd have to make a new character for this remake and not use Morgan again I went through my small image folder for character ideas. I honed in on the one for Bethany. When I first saw the image I got the idea of a gang leader with a conscious but as I came up with the character for GGE it went a different direction. I wanted something I hadn't tried before and that's someone who is pretty normal. Sounds strange but it proved to be a bit tricky to make someone interesting who was someone you could imagine seeing just out on the street.

Something about her expression drew me in so I went about figuring out what makes her sad. And I also had to figure out what kind of abilities she'd have that'd make her able to fight in a tournament like this.

I decided on magic because I figured there wouldn't be many mage-characters since there wasn't last time.

It all fell into place then. Being raised to try and control the powers. Having complications along the way. A life full of mishaps that ultimately led to being on the streets.

I didn't want her life to be entirely doom and gloom but I will say it got pretty dark there. I can't even explain why it happened it just felt natural that all this occurred in her life. But I didn't want it to entirely define her. She didn't just wallow in pity she went out and did something to help others in her circumstance.

It was really nice to make a character who was taking care of kids. It's something I don't have experience in so figuring out how it would affect someone was fun.

I intend on her being very focused on helping those kids at any cost. She doesn't want to hurt people, and in fact managed to get this far without killing, but it's interesting to see if she could be pushed to going that far to help the kids.

Ice powers may not be the most original power, especially for the "I'm a monster" angle of magic-using, but I am having fun coming up with odd ways of using the power.

She's a fun character because she's genuinely funny and kind but truly believes she isn't. She lacks confidence in the extreme but people on the outside can't really tell because she has a natural charisma that covers it up without her even trying.

It's also fun to note that she does have control of her powers but just doesn't think she does. This is due to several factors, some of which will be revealed in the RP eventually. Suffice to say not all is as it seems with Bethany.

I enjoy writing Bethany. A simple, good, person who doesn't think they're good. It's exciting to see how she will develop through this rather unusual circumstance.

And it's also hilarious how normal she is compared to everyone else.

The best part is coming up with replacement words for swears. ;)

And to end this second to last character; a theme song I found later that fits her perfectly.

This is it. The final character. One who didn't actually get to make it to an RP. I was tempted to fix up some issues but I'll leave it as is and explain it better below.

[spoiler=He Who Should Not Exist]Original Name: Rutger the Unwavering
Current Alias: The Knight/Sir Knight/Knight
Gender: Male
Age: Physically 37, born over 1000 years ago
Species: Immortal Human
[spoiler=Appearance]jSNr1xY.jpg?1
Rutger stands at 5‘10“ which was fairly tall for his day. Without armor he weighs 180 pounds. He is muscular but lean, with various battle scars all throughout his body. His hair, once cut short, has grown out during his time in the modern age. He once sported a larger beard but, with the newfound technology, he realized he could afford to keep it trimmed without wasting much time. His eyes, which were a cornflower blue, now have a soft glow to it that intensifies whenever he uses the powers he was forced into.
The armor he wears isn’t his own but instead a recreation of the armor he once wore, stripped of all coat of arms, which was the one thing he allowed Sergei to give to him for this tournament. It’s much more durable than his old armor, though he doesn’t quite understand the technology that made it so. All he knows is that it was made to withstand the modern weaponry about as well as his old armor did medieval weaponry.

Also wears a helmet when in battle.

[spoiler=Biography] Rutger was a Lord knight in days gone past. He controlled a small, but important, area of his homeland, and served his king with conviction and honesty. When the king went to war, Rutger was right alongside him, with his loyal group of knights, called “The Unwavering Warriors” by most. The war was a long one, and it tested Rutger’s sword arm, and his loyalty.
For during this war Rutger noticed things about his liege. It seemed the man was changing as the years went on. It seemed he was desperate to win this war, which had gone on for five years with no sign of ending, and he was beginning to make more and more drastic, and distressing, orders. Kidnapping the child of one of the enemies generals to force a surrender, sending plague ridden refugees across borders, and, worse still, using Dark Arts.
Rutger was already questioning if his king was worthy of serving when he learned of the latter. Some of his knights had gone missing after a recent loss and, knowing they had been injured, he began to search the war camp for them. They weren’t in the infirmary, nor their barracks, and he began to panic. Each of his soldiers were important to him, he knew them all by name, and their families by name, and he refused to believe they just left.
He decided to seek an audience with his king, in the hopes that the man had just sent them somewhere else, but was denied entrance. He was ready to wait for the king to emerge when he heard a sharp cry of pain. Recognizing the voice he barged into the tent, knocking aside the guard, and found a horrible scene.
The king, and a mysterious robed man, with a necklace of bones, was standing by an alter of some sort. His missing knights were upon this alter, bodies torn open and organs lay bare, with the man chanting some kind of spell.
Rutger rushed in and, in a fit of rage, stabbed the man. This didn’t stop the spell but instead set it off prematurely. Rutger found himself beset by a strange force and intense pain ripped through his entire self.
He woke up with a start to an extremely unfamiliar scene. White walls, people in strange garb, unusual, demonic looking to the knight, devices. He was restrained to a table and, upon realizing this, started to pull at the restraints. “Don’t bother.” One of the men around him said. “Those restraints were meant to hold titans, you won’t...” Rutger burst from the restraints and grabbed the man by the throat.
Rutger felt something stab into his neck and he slept once more.
He woke again in a room, alone, with a large mirror in front of him. He saw himself for the first time, saw the strange blue glow in his eyes, and he knew he had been cursed, somehow.
A voice spoke suddenly, coming from a box above the mirror, and he learned what had happened to him.
He had been struck by dark magic, and forced into a coma, for over a thousand years. What happened to his king, the war, or his knights are unknown. Evidently even his king’s name has been buried in the confusing and conflicting record of history. The magic that sent him into a coma also seemed to have given him powers beyond his imagination. And it is because of those powers that he was brought here, to a laboratory owned by one Sergei Nikolaev. That man came to Rutger, whose name he refused to give and would only be referred to as “The Knight” from then on, and told him he was to take part in a tournament to gain his freedom.
Rutger refused. And Rutger was left in the dark, without food or water, for a week. Once more Sergei appeared, asking again. Rutger realized he would die in this place, alone and forgotten, unless he did something about it. And so he accepted. On the condition that he be allowed to fight in his own name, for his own self, without any ties to Sergei.

[spoiler=Personality]Rutger is a just and noble man. Or rather, he hopes he is. He has concerns that the dark magic somehow affected his very soul. Once a man of mercy, he, during a battle against someone Sergei set up to make sure he would be allowed into the tournament, had the chance to spare his opponent. Yet he did not and struck him down even while he kneeled in defeat.
He still tries to be noble however. He refuses to attack when an opponent cannot see him and he speaks politely to those he meets. But he is a troubled man. He believes he was cursed this way due to his own failings. He constantly relives his last moments in his own time and is disgusted how it all happened. He doesn’t even hate his king, nor the wizard, for what happened. He should have noticed something was amiss much earlier. He should have been more patient, more careful, when confronting his king. He will forever hate himself for his failures.
His lack of anger at his king would seem to imply he has learned to turn the other cheek. But, he’s disgusted to realize, he is quite the bitter man. He hates Sergei for whatever he did to bring him out of that coma. For forcing this fight, that wasn’t rightfully his, upon him.
Rutger struggles intensely with the memories of the war, and the other battles he took part of. In this new world, with all its different views, he realizes that he could very well have been wrong for believing in the honor of his lifestyle. He has nightmares, sometimes while awake, about those he killed. Whom he can picture with startling clarity that he didn’t believe he had before. He still believes he was right for protecting his people but he now questions if he could have done it differently.
He has learned much about this world, as he couldn’t help but devour all the information he could, and is sickened. He sees in this world the same darkness that his king fell into. Yet, he cannot bring himself to feel righteous despite knowing how evil the world has become. For he believes he is not any better. He wants to help this world in some way yet also can’t stop thinking he is too broken to do anything about it.
However he isn’t the type to just stand by. He would gladly fight against adversity...if only he knew how. He has a strong desire to defeat all evil he finds....yet he is unsure he isn’t evil himself.
He is a lost soul. He knows he has no place in this world anymore. Yet he keeps fighting. For he doesn’t know what else to do. There is always a sense of nihilism in his demeanor. He keeps going but seems to believe that it doesn’t actually matter what he does. He has no place. He should not even exist. But he can’t bring himself to stop. The only thing he truly has kept from his old life is his unwavering spirit. He can’t give up. Even if he doesn’t know what he is fighting for.

[spoiler=Combat Information]Weapon(s) of choice:  The only weapon, technically, Rutger has is his broadsword (depicted in the image). However he does not unsheathe it ever. It was found with him in his coma, grasped tightly in his hand.

Power Array:
Titan’s Strength: Rutger has extreme physical strength, able to tear through metal with ease.
Aspect of a Warrior: This is Rutger’s main power and it has three forms. Each of the forms can appear and disappear at will.
The Spear Relatively short, as far as spears go, as its the same height as Rutger himself. This weapon has the ability to emit a blinding light that lasts for three seconds, doesn’t affect Rutger, and can only be used once every several minutes. It can disorient a target, however Rutger doesn’t attack until his foe’s eyes have cleared. Used as a means to escape a tricky situation. The spear is capable of piercing through steel with ease.
The Axe A one-handed battle axe. It has the ability to, when Rutger slams it into the ground, cause either a wall, or spike, of ground to shoot up from the point he strikes. The axe is also able to cleave through magic.
The Shield. A shield that is impossible to destroy and offers protection from even magical attacks. Three feet high.
Sword of Truth: A power that even he does not know about. For it can only be unleashed when he unsheathes his sword.

[spoiler=Misc]Warrior’s Theme

“Nature...at least nature has not been totally corrupted.”
“This...Internet you speak of. It is quite the place. But what is this? lol? smh? brb? It seems I have not quite mastered your modern language yet.”
“I have learned this country has many veteran warriors forced to live on the streets. Surely something must be done about this?”
“This ‘Sir Ulrich von Liechtenstein' he has the right idea. I hope he wins his match!"

From Golden Gate Empire: Dreams of Grandeur

I had finished Bethany and was waiting on everyone else. So in the meantime I decided "Let's make something different." Because I liked the idea of someone from the past being in this and I had the free time.

It was difficult to find an image for a not-super-young-but-not-old knight so I actually ended up cropping an image of Lord Soth's human form (from Dragonlance) and while I don't like to use actual character images much it just fit in a way that nothing else did.

One reason I wrote out as much as I did for appearance honestly.

I wrote the Bio first because it was very important to get that known before anything else, given how strange his circumstances is. Basically he was to be a noble who was devoted to his king. I didn't do the best job at explaining exactly what happened but essentially he found his king sacrificing his (Rutger's) own knights in order to use dark magic to defeat their foes. Which is something Rutger couldn't stand for. He attacked the dark mage but because of this interrupted the spell and caused it to be unleashed upon him. This "Killed" him and the king dumped his body and hid it away in an attempt to keep Rutger's knights on his side, which didn't work, and Rutger was left in suspended animation until he was found by Sergei. Basically I wanted a character that would be indebted but unwilling to fight for Sergei because I thought it could be a fun angle and something that none of the other fighters would have.

I wanted to make him a stereotypical noble knight...mostly because that wasn't something that I actually get to write very often. However I didn't want that to be all there was. Or, rather, it didn't make sense for it to be all. He went through some crazy things and he had dark magic flowing inside of him. This dark magic turned the anger and bitterness he felt towards his king towards himself and causes him to lash out during battle.

I thought it interesting to think that, to a modern person, the idea of a knight fighting and killing for a cause may be considered wrong. That war was not an honorable thing. I was looking forward to seeing him struggle with trying to keep his code while living somewhere that thought his code was outdated.

It was going to be a painful journey for him. The world he lives in now seems corrupt yet he can now see all the mistakes he made much more clearly. It's a damned if you do damned if you don't issue where he would have to deal with adapting and deal with his own failings.

All the while he'd be forced to fight. The only thing that he has left of his old world and the only thing that he doesn't truly want to do.

His powers were simple but fun. I wanted to use weapons other than a sword and came up with, imo. And having a shield, as I've learned from Skaia, is a huge boon to a character. Another fun thing is I intended his sword to act sort of like Fate/Stay Night's Excalibur. A powerful blast of energy. Which he would only unleash once he reaches a certain point of character growth, and likely only in the very very very endgame.

...And I couldn't resist the Knight's Tale reference.

While I prefered to use Bethany I can't say I didn't get excited at the idea of playing Rutger. He was very different from many characters in the RP and that I've done and it'd been fun to see how he dealt with things but I also am not upset that Bethany got in instead.

Maybe I'll find a place for Rutger eventually.

And...that's all folks! All my RP characters are now in the Database. Not sure what I'll do with it from here on out but for now it's done.

......Except one more thing.

I will be making this a Poll very shortly. To see what people think their favorite of my characters is. You don't need to read them all to vote. You can vote based on only who you've seen in action. However I do ask you not vote unless you actually have read some of them and/or been in RPs with some of them.

It'll be up in a few minutes so look for that.

Oh hey, I have a couple more characters to add to this, yay!

[spoiler=Salmon Girl]Name: Hana Monroe

Gender: Female

Age: 19

Nationality: Kestorian

Alignment: Kestoria

[spoiler=Appearance]The Image

Hana is fairly tall, at 5'6", and weighs a healthy 140 pounds. Her shoulder length hair is kept at the bare minimum of taken care of, and it isn't uncommon for there to be some hair curling up near the bottom. This is especially true when it's particularly humid, as her hair often becomes frizzy if not kept taken care of in humidity. Her bangs, which are cut in a messy fashion, tend to just barely not cover her eyes.

She isn't very muscular and if you are looking closely you would be able to notice she has a small amount of fat to her, especially around her thighs, likely caused by excessive seafood eating.

Her clothing tends towards "comfortable" and is always either a shade of orange or pink, or both. She tries to go barefoot whenever possible as she enjoys the feeling of the ground on her feet.

[spoiler=Personality]The world is your oyster and Hana really loves to eat oyster. Free spirit is the first thing that comes to mind when describing this Kestorian girl. She loves to just enjoy life and doesn't seem to get troubled very easily. She believes that the world is an absolutely beautiful place and loves exploring it or even simply existing in it. This causes her to get excited over mundane things like how the wind feels or the shape of a cloud or how that one star waaaaay to the right shines just slightly more than the rest.

Hana is quite the scatterbrain, unable to really focus on something for long. Because she believes that there's no point in a life spent worrying about things. To really live you must rid yourself of thoughts like "I should do this" and "I shouldn't do that." This causes her to be at odds with authority figures often. Not because she intentionally goes against them but simply because she doesn't seem capable of buckling down and completing a task without getting distracted several times along the way.

Many people find it difficult to stay angry at her, however, as she just exudes a happy energy that can easily take one over if they aren't careful. She has been known to drag people into her little adventures, which usually are something like running through the grass or climbing a tree, and she does it with a bright and lively smile.

However this all only applies when Hana is kept fed. For when she gets hungry she becomes a menace. Aggressive and crabby, liable to snap at anyone for anything, she has been known to push people down the stairs in this state when they don't move fast enough for her liking. She seems aware of this but often loses focus and forgets to fix it before she gets to the level of hunger that unleashes the beast. Though she does actively look for food more intently when she first feels the pangs of hunger hit her.

[spoiler=History]Born to a rather eccentric pair, Hana from early on was tossed head-first in a lifestyle of travel and excitement. Her parents were very odd in that they were obsessed with a somewhat unknown land to the East, which was known mostly as the origin of the Kaiju archetype, and they tried to share this passion with their daughter. Hana for her part tried to have the same level of enthusiasm but she found that she was just enthusiastic about the world in general that she couldn't focus her enthusiasm to just the one place.

However the single thing she did find about it to love was the food called sushi. She would eat it and eat it and eat it, often more than she really needed, because of just how much she loved it. Soon enough her parents found that they were starting to fall into poverty. In part due to how expensive the food that their daughter so loved was. They found they had to make a decision. Either stop their adventurous ways or cut their daughter off from sushi. They chose the latter.

This did not go so well. Hana went on a hunger strike in a fit of childish rebellion. She had never gone hungry a day in her life and so she was unaware of what happened to her mental state when hungry. She lashed out at her parents and they were forced to kick her out.

Once she got food into her she felt terrible about what she did and tried apologizing to her parents. However they had already moved on to their next adventure. Hana, though she was upset, decided that she too had to move on and not let this ruin her life. There was a brief dark patch but Hana wasn't the type to let that stop her. She soon came to the conclusion that her parents would understand and that the only correct direction was forward.

Unfortunately Hana didn't really know where forward was. She ended up learning how to play Duel Monsters from people in her travels and this led her to joining the military out of desire to experience something she knew nothing about.

Sadly for her it turned out she was utterly hopeless in combat. She would forget to use her traps, forget she had to tribute for 5 star monsters when A Legendary Ocean was not in play, and on occasion needed to ask what Pot of Greed does. Her superior didn't want to give her the boot completely so instead she was sent to a retraining camp in the hopes she could maybe learn to be a little less garbage at dueling.

[spoiler=Deck]Focuses around getting out heavy hitting Fish monsters, usually through the use of A Legendary Ocean. A very simple play style with very few tricks. The only tricks tend to involve simple things such as sending things to the Graveyard to give a boost.

From Yu-Gi-Oh! Trivial Wars

So. Those who know me, and some who don't, know I don't really know YGO much at all. So what got me to join this RP? Well first of all I thought the premise looked like something easy to get into. As in it allowed for characters who weren't really good at the game. Which was perfect because it'd be easier for me to play someone like that.

The other is I just love Terrorking Salmon and as I was looking for character images and ideas I came across that and realized it was a chance I had to take.

The name is basically a joke...like most of the character honestly. The RP seemed more of a silly one so I figured I'd go with a silly character. Which is something I wasn't able to do enough of honestly. Hana is because it's a weeb-ish enough but not overly so name and Monroe...Roe. Salmon roe. Yeah.

I decided she'd be Kestorian, the more "America" country, because it made more sense for weeb-y parents to live there.

I wanted her to be just a bit overweight. She is technically military so it wouldn't be too much but I felt it more realistic that the food lover would have some weight to her. Honestly this image was just too good to not use, as said before it's a big part of why I decided to join.

I wanted to make her a fairly simple, happy-go-lucky type. Someone who wouldn't mind losing and who would be thrilled to just explore every bit of wherever she winds up. I found this would be really fun and make it easy for her to interact no matter what was happening. I didn't want something deep or dark, sometimes I feel there's too much of that in RP, and Hana was to be my sorta...outlet for this.

But then I wanted something more. Something so she wouldn't be TOO generic. And I was hungry when writing it. So I realized that making her one of those angry hungry people just seemed to fit. I wanted this to be a rare thing but something that could spur some action when needed.

Her bio I am unsure how to feel about. It fits but I found it a bit difficult to explain the leaving home situation. I didn't want it to be too sad but I felt it had to be something that was big enough to make sense why she would leave her parent's house. I tried to negate the sadness by reminding people her parents were filled with wanderlust and she was an airhead but I'm unsure if it really works.

I spent too much time on the deck. But it was really fun. I wanted all Fish. I know there's several ways to make Fish strong but I just wanted to make it simple and fitting. She isn't going to have too many combos. More/less I wanted to make something that could do some damage if used right but was almost akin to a starter deck.

Clearly I'm a master card creator.

I heard the song that is her theme at work, actually. Well I heard it before but work reminded me. And it was so fitting...and I couldn't help but go over the top for the hungry theme.

I adore this character. They didn't get to do much and sometimes I felt she was TOO air-headed but she was fun to write and definitely a pick-me-up. Sadly the RP sorta...died off pretty fast. I dunno if I'd try another YGO RP but if I did I most likely would reuse Hana. Perhaps with a more fitting Bio, though.

Another that in part was due to the image...

[spoiler=Rona, the Indomitable Wyvern Rider][spoiler=Identity Information]Name: Rona Valgtut

[spoiler=Appearance]The Image

A tall woman, Rona stands at 5‘9“ and weighs 155 lbs. Generally dresses in bare minimal, due to being sensitive to the heat, though does have armor she wears to battle. Does not have heels. Not quite as undressed as image implies but it's close.

[spoiler=Personality]Those who meet Rona would often think of a single word. Indomitable. She comes off as fearless and reckless as she jumps into battle without a second thought. A proud warrior that refuses to surrender no matter the odds. Rona almost always has a smile and is quick to laugh. She doesn’t seem to worry about how she looks or what others think about her in general. A helpful young woman who always goes out of her way to make sure that the people around her are happy and healthy.
At least that’s what she wants you to think.
Rona’s recklessness comes from forcing herself to act without thinking in battle in order to not retreat. For if she takes too long thinking about the battle her cowardice will win out and she’ll turn tail. Her smile is to cover the anxiety and paranoia that rages in her mind. This anxiety can crop up at random and is almost always present in some minor degree. She often avoids situations when not on the battlefield and will go out of her way to avoid any direct confrontations.
Rona thinks very little of herself. She’s a failure and a weakling. Someone who should have died but was not allowed to. Thus she has very little feelings of self-worth. Her only purpose, she feels, is to make life better for those around her in whatever way she can.
Though she often doubts she’s even doing this right. Thus she keeps on a smile whenever she can and the moment she feels herself start to slip she’ll leave the situation.

[spoiler=Biography]Born to a family of renowned Jouran soldiers; it was expected that Rona, too, would excel. When her aptitude for magic, and desire to learn it, was learned her father, a man who firmly believed that martial combat was the true path, strictly forbade her from so much as looking at a book of magic. Her training began at a young age and it was harsh from the start.
Constant combat practice, she could suddenly be attacked during a meal, grueling physical fitness, and harsh punishments were most of Rona’s life. She wasn’t particularly adapt at fighting in the way her father wanted and so, while she did become quite skilled in combat, she was never the prime fighting force that was expected of her.
She had always been a timid child and so there was a focus on tearing that away when it came to her training. If she were to flinch, hesitate, or turn her back on her foe (which included having her back towards one of her older siblings or parents at any time) she was punished. Usually with either beatings or being left out in the cold, basically naked, over night.
Rona was put in a squad under command of her father, comprised of mostly Wyvern Riders, at the earliest possible age (14). She was better than many of the others of her experience level but her father refused to acknowledge her until she had surpassed even the best soldiers they had.
During a skirmish near the border their squad was pinned down by a group of Archers. Rona’s father ordered her to charge the Archer’s formation and scatter, or kill, them. She refused at first but quickly caved to his shouting and took off.
Her, and her Wyvern, Cormag, were greatly injured during this. She refused to turn back though and continued to fight on until she passed out from blood loss. Her wyvern, a surprisingly kind and intelligent beast, knew that taking her back to her father would only result in punishment. So he took her southward, away from the fighting, away from everything, into Aerora.
Rona was dying. She could barely stay concious for longer than a few minutes and everywhere they went the people seemed to turn them away. Still Cormag flew on, despite his own injuries, until he just couldn’t anymore and collapsed in a field.
This is when the leader of the Iron Falcons, Leon, came upon them and helped them get the medical care they needed.
Rona, who knew she couldn’t return home, then swore her life to Leon. She had nothing, she WAS nothing, so she had no qualms about doing this even for a person she knew nothing about.

-Adores her mount and thinks of him as family
[spoiler=Mount]Name: Cormag
Species: Wyvern
Color: Steely Blue
Personality: Somewhat of a grump but extremely protective of Rona. Cares more for her life than she does. Surprisingly gentle to children and animals.

[spoiler=Thoughts On Others]Leon: He...he saved me. I don’t know why he would bother but...I will protect him. No matter what.

Aleithe: He’s a much better flier than I. I could learn much from him but...I’m afraid to ask. He’s so confident and I’m...me.

Yue: When I first saw her...I was afraid. It’s still scary to think that, if she decided to, she could shoot me out of the sky so easily. She’s not a bad person. She just...makes me nervous sometimes.

Ada: She looks so fragile; I get worried whenever I see her in a fight. I don’t talk to her as much as I should, though, I don’t know if she wants to be bothered...

Layne: His personality is um...impressive. I might look up to his attitude somewhat. I just wish he didn’t have to highlight my injuries, I don’t want to be a burden...I already give him a lot of work.

Maizuru: I don’t know why she’s so curious...I try to avoid talking about home. But she just keeps at it. I’m not sure...she makes me uncomfortable at times. But she seems reliable from what I’ve seen. Maybe she could become a closer friend if I let her?

Cassia: I don’t know her very well. Cormag won’t let her by me for long.

So. Rona. One of the types of characters I wanted to try was one that was just...broken. But I didn't want to make one who that was their only trait. But I had to figure out something that actually made sense to add. And thus I realized that a big part of depression and such is that you don't really try and let people know about it most of the time. So she overcompensates. It is honestly really interesting to write this character and I am excited to see how people react to them.

As long as they don't try and fix her too soon or too aggressively because then she'll just completely break....

Anyway, the name was based on Scandinavian and Norse names, because her home is partially based on those. I really liked the image and always wanted to use it. Honestly I thought of a different character for it but I felt this was a good chance for it. It just fits the class she's intended to go into which is a wyvern riding character with axes and dark magic.

I decided to go hard on the bio, and just made her father the typical warrior father taken up to 11 on the jabroni scale. She had a really bad life. Abused and crushed entirely and worse she was around other siblings who thought it was perfectly fine that this was happening. She never really had a good time in her life and the closest to it was when she was rescued by the leader of a mercenary company and spent time with them. Though she doesn't realize that quite yet.

It's going to be interesting to see how she develops and I am excited for when she eventually, and very slowly, grows more confidence and gains some self-worth.

I really like the idea of a clearly physical leaning class with better magic than strength. She was truly meant to be a mage but was forced out of it, which is part of why she feels useless. She's simply in the wrong class. Eventually when she gains magic attacks she'll go from average to really strong and that'll be an exciting shift.

Overall what I've done with Rona so far I've enjoyed (even if sometimes it is a bit tough to do) and I am always looking forward to what she'll do next.

And the last one for now, a remake of Mary from Undertakers. Much of it is the same but there's a few key differences.

Edit: Realized it made more sense to put it with the post with the other Mary, check the OP for the link to the post ;)

But that's all...again, for now, who knows when the next one will appear...
