Would an effect like Photon Caeser's anime effect be too "unrealistic" for certain sections?

The effect in question is "This card can be treated as 2 xyz materials for an xyz summon"

 

What I have in mind would be more complicated then having that effect all the time generically and thus more balanced, and I would list rulings for it of course.

For right now, those types of effects are usually translated into Special Summon another copy of this card or something when they come to the TCG/OCG. 

 

Advanced, maybe not, considering that fact (at least until Konami decides to just do it; we technically have double Tributers, but a double material might be hard to rule on for them; idk). Casual should be okay.

 

I don't see any issue for Advanced, provided you explain stuff and yeah, keep it non-generic for the most part, but you should try in Casual for now.
