You get to make one selfless wish and one selfish wish

Say you find a genie and he decides to grant you two wishes, but one has to be for the good of the world/others and the other has to be for you. And no monkey's paw bullshit either, the genie won't try to screw you based on specificity or wording. What would your wishes be and why?

Selfless wish: An implemented global system to end world hunger. The interesting thing is we actually produce enough food to do so, but one of the bigger problems is distributing said food to those that need it. And that'd include irrigation systems and other methods third world countries use that are prone to contamination and disease. I can understand world peace, but I feel like there'd be unforeseen repercussions that would eventually rise from all conflict ending, weird as that sounds.

Selfish wish: Gonna go basic here and wish for endless income. Every time I need money, I can pull out from my pocket the exact amount I need for said occasion. And every time I cut a check, the revenue is instantly generated in my bank account. Life would become much more convenient this way.

I would not wish for anything.

It's not a trick question. You can always just wish for X amount of money for your self and Y amount for someone else, and that's if you're extremely unimaginative. There's no need to be all edgy, refusing the opportunity to cure cancer and all.

The selfish wish I want immediately pops to mind. This is somewhat controversial as far as wishes go, but I want to be immortal. Not just unaging, not 'immortal until I choose to die'. I would use my selfish wish to never die or permanently lose consciousness, even if I wanted to.

The selfless wish is a lot harder for me, considering just how many problems humanity currently faces. If I wished for anthropogenic climate change to halt, then an uncontrolled AI singularity can just rear its ugly head and wipe us. Because of my selfish wish, any direct wish for humanity to not go extinct is rather meaningless. I could wish for there to always be at least X number of humans, but tbh I don't want to risk humanity surviving in dirt sheet conditions. So I'm going to wish for a smooth AI singularity in the next 10 years. I feel like I'm taking a massive risk for wishing it so early, even if I'm wishing for the transition to be smooth, but if I leave it any longer, then I'm pushing into the earliest predictions for catastrophic climate change, and I want to avoid that. ASI will be able to solve climate change for us, along with pretty much all out problems.

A wish for me never dying would totally be selfless because it means the world gets me forever

I have to agree with Speedroid about the immortality sort of. It'd have to be a perfect immortality (for me). Which basically means I can't be hurt, or killed, unless I choose to be. I can choose to appear whatever age I want. With this I can do so many things and money wouldn't be that bad an issue since I'd be able to save up for years and, logically, I'd eventually be able to win a few lotteries/make it big in the casino. Of course I'd have to go about figuring ways to have fake identities but even so.

Dying (and potentially not existing in the world) freaks me out.

Selfless wish would probably be something along the lines of...Everyone in the world being kind. Doesn't mean no competing, or no bragging/friendly insults and such. Just a general kindness that would be put into every person.

Granted there's not many truly selfless wish because most would in some way benefit you (even a "make you feel good") but it fits the idea of this thread.

Selfish: Transformation capabilities to myself and others. I like transformation, it's always a concept that appealed to me. Flexibility is awesome.

Selfless: I like that systematized way to end world hunger put in the OP, honestly. Something like that would be nice to have in existence, wishes make things happen even if they weren't normally able, so that's something I could totally get behind...

Selfless: Fix all current and future physical/mental deformities/retardation/etc. that people are born with (not sure on a general term). That's just something no one enjoys dealing with whether it's themselves or others, I don't think anyone would object to that sort of wish.

Selfish: Immortality, the kind where I'm ageless and can only be harmed/destroyed/etc. if I wish it.
