I'm thankful to have a job, friends, and ability to write, mostly.

 

Tomorrow is also my mom's birthday and thankfully her gift got here a couple days ago so that's nice. Most of my family is having "Thanksgiving" dinner on Friday due to work buuut I work then and am off tomorrow so just me and mom.

Thankful to not have to see my parents

The recurring gag every year is to put the turkey in front of me and then ask why I'm not eating (I'm a vegetarian) *cue 40-50 people laughing*

I'm thankful this year I finally had the spine not to go to that shitshow

Thankful for experience.  I didn't get what I was looking for in Green Bay, but I did meet great people and get a lot of experience.  Not to mention I fell in love.  This is something that I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.

I sorta celebrated thanksgiving, however everything was last minute and because of that there was no turkey to eat. Instead, I ended up eating smoked spicy BBQ chicken as the main coarse. Not a very big celebration but it was ok I guess. I am thankful that I can still celebrate this with my parents, even though the plans were rushed rushed, and that I am still ok with the current trends going on in the world.
