Answer right now is a no; basically, it'll be harder to run as a whole if random guests start posting. There are some benefits, yes, but ultimately it destroys the point of having an account to begin with. Or really, there's more harm to be done.

At the time the suggestion was made, yes. Right now, it should be fine. 

 

We can technically make the forum (well, just reuse some of the decommissioned ones), but again, problem is setting up the permissions and yeah, damage control if guests get out of hand.

But not if they have to wait till their post gets passes. I mean just have a mod or two or three look over posts before they get shown p!us you could prevent most spambots with a captcha filter? And you could monitor the IP addresses in case a member went anonymous and did something wrong. How does that solve it?
