Trap Normal
You can only activate 1 “Destruction Swordsman’s Cradle” per turn.
(1) Send 1 “Destruction Sword” card and 1 “Buster Blader” monster from your Deck to the Graveyard, except “Destruction Swordsman’s Cradle”; Special Summon 1 “Buster Dragon” from your Extra Deck or Graveyard, but destroy it during the End Phase of next turn.
(2) You can banish this card from your Graveyard; for the rest of this turn, “Destruction Sword” cards you control cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects.

This also exists if you want Chaos MEME protection, and if you already have the Fusion Trap in grave. Def including 1 copy at most, since you already have 6 grab it. Definitely impressed with this new Destruction Swordsmeme support + Destruction Sword Flash ain't even as bad to trigger whooo.

Does anyone else think this would be a tad busted if it was a spell?

Like it is a 1 card lock, sets up the grave for free and SSes the dragon.

Probably the reason it's a trap.

I mean, barring random OTKs, this is definitely better as a trap.

Gives it more control utility, means the dragon dies during your EP instead of theirs, and it contributes to winning T1 and baiting advantage out to try and outplay it instead of "here's a fat derp dragon, pls nuke it"

What is more control utility

What is the importance of dying during your End Phase instead of opp's, esp since the setup it gives means you can summon another one next turn (or immediately, TBH, since this can dump Whelp and Buster Blader and you then revive both to Synch 8 again)

What is the difference between trying to outplay it when it was summoned on your turn and trying to outplay it when it was summoned on opponent's

Given that making t1 Buster Dragon + Dragon Destroyer involves this card basically regardless of whether this is a Spell or a Trap, but also given that if it were a Spell you could tutor the Quickplay Fusion Spell immediately and Set it so you could use it on your opponent's turn, while reviving a Buster Blader with the Buster Dragon to use as a material, I'm having a hard time seeing how it being a Trap makes it better

It's still good as a Trap, but the Fusion Spell and Buster Dragon being able to immediately revive a Buster Blader alone would already make it better as a Spell as far as I can tell
