Astoundingly enough, Nocturne is exactly my favourite Chopin work. Sometimes when I feel  anxious or angry, I play that song (specially if I can lock myself in my room) and it always works to calm me down. Incidentally, my favourite version is performed by Stanislav Bunin, whose work was used for Eternal Sonata. It's pretty much the same, of course, but the tempo is slightly different, and I got used to this version.

The game had this kind of interludes talking about Chopin's life with real life photos and all. Yeah, it was a crazy game xD. Mmm... I remember well that this piece played after an event in which the purple haired girl I mentioned before dies T_T. Fortunately I've managed to separate both things, otherwise I'd feel this song as saddening and not as pleasant and soothing, which is the feelings that inspire me right now.

 

And @cr47t, I see you posted again, ignoring my comment. I regret replying so enthusiastically, it becomes embarrassing when the other person doesn't even reply, like saying, "meh, too boring".. If you're going to ask something only to leave a reply unanswered because you found it dull or whatever, do not ask.

GTA IV was pretty good but I pretty much played it to rack up the wanted stars and see how long it took them to go away.

i'm sorry if i came off that way - i literally didn't have internet on that monday - friday and it slipped my notice. now that i've read it i understand better and i'm sorry for accidentally snubbing

sorry for the double post but i'm finding it hard to edit

i try to find fun when there's an opportunity, but it's less tangible for me than it used to be. i find most of the things that happen in my life boring or frustrating, so i write fiction to get all my neuroses out. there are days when i feel better, but it's not too often, and it scares me a bit how it's dwindling but i'm finding it hard to find opportunities to be with other people I care about and enjoy being with (which is usually when i'm most happy) so covid has been hard for me to cope with (but less so for me than the people directly affected by the virus or their loved ones)

I have had many names over the time I started using YGO based sites and apps but Horu is the one that everyone seemed to stick with once it hit center stage. So ultimately, Horu was simply supposed to be a cool protag for a story that ended up becoming much more than a storied protag or a temporary name for me. People got attached to it and I maintain the character simply for everyone that has grown to love it.

i don't read as much as i should. most of my recent projects have been fantasy-esque, usually drawing from miyazaki rather than LOTR/potter/dnd/etc, because its gives me a bit more wiggle room. i tried to do a super serious project recently but the responsibility with dealing with the topics involved was too much for me, so back to fantasy for now. not that anything's wrong with that.
