Darj
Finally the FIRE one. Not exactly sure what I'm looking at in the artwork, but it looks cool nonetheless. And the effect is alright IMO: it can reach a decent ATK, which nicely backs up its multi-attack effect, plus it can put some damage with the piercing effect; it's funny how it will get weaker with each monster it attacks and destroys. Now I can tinker with Shaddolls and Volcanics or Metalfoes. That Spell, though; I wished for a Quick-Play Fusion spells for Eidolons, but this one is an interesting take on Quick-effect Fusion summoning. Dropping a Merkabah, Raideen, Caligula and even Elysion on the opponent during his/her turn can be so disruptive, and it gives the player access to any Eidolon Beast even if their appropriate Attribute material isn't available. I dislike how Merkabah and Elysion cannot Summon each other, since the former is one of the more useful Eidolon Beasts IMO; it would have worked just fine if the Spell required a different Type or Level instead. Black D'Sceptyr
Purgatorio. Really, it looks like Photoshop Flowey crashed out of its screen and caught fire. Amazing effect though. Now that Infernoidolon Deck I've got in the wings can take flight. And ol' Darj is right: that Field Spell is actually invaluable if you're looking to change the game on your opponent in a hurry. Hell, Cocatrice can be pushed in as a wall to soak up that kill spell coming your way, or a way to put another Arcana Knight Joker Lite Merkabah on the field for heavy effect stonewalling. Might even warrant the running of a second Elysion, just for the extra super-Raigeki PAIN. Great all around. Would like a way to get Scripture to hand quick tho. Maybe I resurrect Quick Booster? Darj
Also keep in mind the Spell can be used to inflict extra damage during the Battle Phase. It looks like that if you aim for a "pure" Eidolon deck, your best bet is going for OTKs, considering this Spell, the ATK boost from Aleister, which can stack, plus their Return-from-the-Different-Dimension-ish Trap. Kanashimi
. . . . even Elysion on the opponent during his/her turn can be so disruptive . . . .Sadly cant be used to ss Elysion. As it requires "Above Fusion materials", anyhow that'd be cool tho, surprise ss2 banish-raigeki. Well yea aready said above, giving access to Eidolon Beast that the deck cant access. Well dodging targeting eff too. OTK, with Purgatorio beat the crap of all monster opp has (+piercing), then Scripture ss Megallanica for 3k damage

Oh, you are right, that clause. Of course there had to be a catch: summoning a Quick Effect banishing Raigeki during the opponent's turn would have been so nasty. Kaiji
Not sure if a form change is even that good, since you'd have to be able to make plays to begin with However, Instant Fusion requires little investment and this would combo very well with Raideen in terms of breaking boards going second . And it would mean not having to maindeck an attribute to summon its respective fusion. This would only apply to nonsearchable attributes (basically anything that isnt a beast warrior or a rank 4). Purgatorio is heeeeellllaaaa strong tho.
Pchi
So, any decklist ideas for Eidolons? TBH I don't have the slightest bit of idea of what to run with these kids in terms of MD monsters; I guess there must be some nice combinations out there waiting to be discovered, but at the moment, I can't think of anything but generic easily searchable/replenishable fodder like the aforementioned Volcanic Shell. Sometimes, you are faced with so many available options you end up without anything to work properly with.

I tested Eidolons with monsters that float when used as fusion material, namely Trick Clown and some Shaddolls, but in the end, from my tests and looking at other builds, the Zodiac engine is more rewarding. As for a decklist, it's just the Aleister set, 3 Molmorat and the required Zodiacs Xyzs, plus the Terrortop engine to go into Invoker, Summon Molmorat and start the Zodiac combo. Then you can tinker with the Brilliant Fusion engine, Zodiac Viper, Photon Thrasher, Instant Fusions, other techs, etc.
