Atypical-Abbie
DBLE-JP027 RR-アーセナル・ファルコン Raidraptor – Arsenal FalconRank 7 DARK Winged Beast-Type Xyz Effect MonsterATK 2500DEF 2000Xyz Materials: 2 Level 7 Monsters(1) Once per turn: You can detach 1 Xyz Material from this card; Special Summon 1 Level 4 Winged Beast-Type monster from your Deck.(2) If this card has as a “Raidraptor” monster as Xyz Material, it can attack a number of times per Battle Phase up to the number of those “Raidraptor” monsters it has as Xyz Material.(3) If this card with a “Raidraptor” monster as Xyz Material is sent to the Graveyard: You can Special Summon 1 “Raidraptor” Xyz Monster from your Extra Deck, except “Raidraptor – Arsenal Falcon”, and if you do, attach this card to it from your Graveyard as Xyz Material. Oh hey, you can use this in Harpies if you wanted to. Anyway, seems decent, but again, it's quite hard to actually get out, I haven't played Raidraptor in a while, but I don't remember Rank-ups being the best playstyle for them. Dova
So, you can only Summon this in the archetype via Double Rank-Up on the 5 (unlikely, the Rank 5 is meh) or Single Rank-Up on the 6 (unlikely, the single Rank-Ups are somewhat meh). First effect is extremely supportive of the archetype, but the second effect is...I guess for OTKs if your opponent has a clear field? However, I love the last effect has a swing or combo with Dark Hole as it allows you to Summon Ultimate with 1 mat. Shame it can't be Summoned with Skip Force afterward, but w/e
Lee Cheng Men
Oh boy! We finally have a Rank 7 Raidraptor!
The Highlander
Interesting. Summon Strix, skip into revolution, eliminate all monsters the opponent controls and revolution force into this, swinging 3 times for 7500 additional damage. Maeriberii Haan
seems a lot better in harpies tbh
BlackBeartic
This really does seem better in harpies lmao.Though since this is a game OG and some of Shun's cards are coming we might get some type of widespread level modification.Until it's probably going to be Last Strix --> Blaze --> This or the usual Last Strix ---> SCF ---> Ultimate. This is honestly weird af lmao. The rank is bad (for RR really, Harpies it's a godsend) but the effect is golden. P.S Does anyone else notice how it looks like it absorbed Enterblathnir or something lmao.

Premier Alexander Romanov
I really hope this means we're getting an RUM that can rank up a Ruri up to 3 Ranks...
evilfusion
Honestly, I'm just glad they finally have a Rank 7, because it's so awkward to have Rank 3s, 4, 5, 6, 8, and 10. Plus, this gives a little more use if you want to run RUM - Phantom Knights Launch to rank up Revolution Falcon. Okay, now for the stats and effect. 2500 ATK is fine, fits as being the stone between the 2000 ATK Revolution Falcon and the 3000 ATK Satellite Cannon Falcon. It can detach 1 to SS a Level 4 Winged Beast from the Deck. Uh...okay. It's not bad by any means, just kind of redundant in RRs. It can attack each Battle Phase x the RRs as Material. Okay, getting kind of meh right now. You're rarely going to have more than 1 or 2 RR Materials, because I'm assuming you're Ranking up from Revolution Falcon, who eats up its Materials like candy because it's an amazing card, or using Soul Shave Force. BUT...if this dies with a RR Material, you can SS a RR Xyz from the Extra Deck, and give it this as an Overlay. That's...actually pretty solid. Another means to get out Ultimate Falcon, I guess. The thing is...if I'm not using RR specific RUM to bring this out, why am I using this instead of Odd-Eyes Raging or something, which actually works as a definitive finisher? And if I am using RR specific RUM...how often am I actually going to go into this? It's not bad, it's just not amazing enough for the hoops you'll probably need to jump through to bring it out. Revolution Falcon, Satellite Cannon Falcon, and Ultimate Falcon are all better RR Rank-Up cards.

And if I am using RR specific RUM...how often am I actually going to go into this? It's not bad, it's just not amazing enough for the hoops you'll probably need to jump through to bring it out. Revolution Falcon, Satellite Cannon Falcon, and Ultimate Falcon are all better RR Rank-Up cards.there has been many a duel i've had where i had the level 5 or 6 clear a board, but i had no quick follow up plays because my rum was only usable for themed RR summons. this right here is a link between rank ups that the deck has needed badly so that 5 and 6 don't become early summon ceilings. also, during the battle phase, you can now use the quickplay rum to go from 6-7, which opens up a strong OTK setup, with the 6 clearing the field (while knocking everything to 0) and this swinging multiple times immediately after. there's been some duels where i've went into strix, did my searching, ranked up into the 5 or 6, did my work, and had nothing else to build off of. and other times where i only has strix and a 1 level rank-up spell in hand. now i can summon the r6 with strix, then rank into this with a basic rum, and have a board that if broken by most means other than castel, will likely result in a 3500 untouchable bird hitting board. not to mention it's a natural raptor, so unlike other r7's, it has natural synergy with many of the decks spells and traps, the most notable of those being raptor call, themed rank ups, and readiness. there are better offensive monsters in the r7 pool, but on defensive/combo plays, this card flows into so much more than any other r7 can in raid raptors. and even in offense, if your r5/6 is summoned naturally, and you turn them into this, you're almost guaranteed a win, with protection for your monster, and a high chance of increased resources even if it's stopped via the third effect.
