vla1ne
Dad, please move this to debates if you think it belongs there. There's some stuff i want to say. but first, i want you to watch the video in question. So... how many of you think this is news worth reporting upon nationally? i know i do. how many of you think BLM should have been the first group on the scene to support this woman after she was put through this s***? I know i do. how many of you want these people put in jail? I know i do. and how many of you expect absolutely none of that to happen in any reasonable length of time? I know i do. [spoiler=if you wish for my own further input]This isn't just about party lines, or gender, this is about common f***ing decency. why is it that trump supporters get abused for their views, with near impunity? in fact, there was a man who literall claimed he "had the back" of a man who was verbally, and later physically, assaulting the woman. this video should have led to at least 6 arrests, but as of yet, i've heard nothing of any arrest. and to make matters worse. the cops dared act as if she needs any further questioning, making statement's like "their police were keeping the peace in that situation" and "if she's really the victim, she'll step forth" when you can clearly see that she's not only outnumbered, but by far in the worse position on all fronts. even while these idiots are trying to pin her for hate speech, she's clearly saying "agree to disagree" and the like. surrounded by animals and still speaking logically. this is a solid reason that people vote trump. because this is what people do, have done, and continue to do, to trump supporters. but there's a bright side to this. you know what happened to this woman after she had to go through this? trump supporters, and trump himself found her, and put her on her feet with ID, a bank account, medical treatment, a new job, and many other things. but i have seen neither CNN, MSNBC, or many another news source. say a thing about it. they're so clearly biased against him that a video from years ago makes headlines for weeks, but this right here gets nothing at all. so please, from any side of the fence, what do you think should be done in such a situation. Slinky
Well, there's 3 reasons why that isn't going to happen. 1. Trump Supporter2. Black3. Female Add that all up, and you get a media who doesn't give a flying funk.

Ryusei the Morning Star
It's not just blacks. Hispanic Trump supporters get sheet. LGBT Trump supporters get funking excommunicated. Tolerance is subjective Wait, so I'm at fault? Huh. Well, I feel terrible. I think if you watched the video, and then felt nothing was to be said, then yes, I don't understand how you can reconcile that with Black lives matter The black man in that video says he wouldn't defend her...jesus, but Black Lives matter
Dad
So, you want justice now when it's in your favor (and by all means deserved), but if it doesn't fit your agenda, you turn a blind eye? How's that work? You already know where I stand. But your position is quite unclear.

You know how much I'd be saying that then?Don't insult me just to make it sound like you're the "only one who cares" Ugh I went in this feeling bad about what happened and now I'm just annoyed that I got "called out" on a thread that's supposed to be about this attack that happened.Edit: And now you're debating BLM, what's that about "fitting their narrative" again? vla1ne
So wait, are you blaming everyone who doesn't support Trump, or the media for not covering it?No. i'm not blaming those who do not support trump, if you won't vote trump, that's fine, but i'm definitely blaming those who either believe such actions are acceptable, or would not turn in those who committed such actions. for example, the failed humans in this video, who would attack the homeless over little more than views. the police who have quality video of the people involved, yet (as far as i currently know) have made no attempt to arrest them for what clearly falls under harassment, defacing of both public and private property, assault, and much more. this woman's words were "agree to disagree" how is she, by any means, spewing hate speech? and i'm also firing shots at BLM, who would protest over every damn criminal, but to the best of my knowledge, have said and done nothing for this woman after she was put through this. We all knew the media was biased against the man long before this, that much isn't surprising. this is just another nail in the already heavily nailed coffin as far as that goes. vla1ne
stop. right now. this isn't just left or right. it's human decency. no matter what side you're on. if you can see this video, and feel anything but disgust, then you aren't the kind of person i would want to be near no matter who you're voting for. and yeah, it's completely legit to fire on BLM over this, because when it comes down to it, "doesn't fit the narrative" is an entirely accurate argument against them in this case. The scumbags who attacked this woman are a bi-product of Clinton's words. They should be held responsible for their actions. The same goes for Trump's crazies.that's fair. when words are meant to incite violence i can understand both media and voter backlash. i'm not saying everything he's gotten was undue, he's made a lot of dumb comments, as i'm sure most, if not all of the election thread members will tell you. but when there's such a clear divide between the supporters that they begin attacking under false banners, against someone who has done nothing at all to deserve such misery, i can't help but ask what might be causing it. and when i look at the news, the only answer i see is attack after attack. waves of character assassination, directed at trump and his supporters. many people in america, both politician, and supporter alike, have forgotten how to respect opposing ideas, and by extension, people. they've somehow come to the conclusion that violence and intolerance is fine if the person you direct it towards is one who disagrees with you( completely defeating the point of tolerance) and yeah, this election, i've seen both online, and firsthand, mainly from Hillary supporters, AKA, members of the left. not all, but enough that it makes me think that the left is doing whatever they can to foster such environments for their voter base..
