What does this rating mean?

Hey guys!

I've been here for quite some time, but I've always been confused about this rating system:

 

Before, I had a 5-Star rating, but it was reduced fairly recently. I know you can add a rating to another person's profile, but I wasn't sure if there were ways to know which ratings you've received, or if it ties into Rep, so on and so forth. I'd appreciate some info on this please.

It just depends on members rating you 1 - 5 stars; I don't believe it's linked to your rep counter. As for finding out what members rate you, there aren't any ways unless it's really early on and you can keep tabs on who came to your profile.

That's the stars under the member title, not the stars on the profile.

As Cow mentioned, the ones you're referring to are the Level stars; those are linked to your post count (at least if you didn't buy a custom). Ones Major is talking about is your profile stars / rating.
