LordCowCowCowCowCowCowCowCow
To start some notes- This isn't to debate the election, any signs of debating will be reported. Discussing is okay but debating is not, for this thread.- No "one-upping" is allowed. That is to say saying why one side is worse than the other. Okay that being said. The main idea for this is to get a grasp of, in YOUR area, how has the election affected you or the people around you? Did your Trump supporting parents lock you in the basement? Are Hilary supporters beating up Trump supporters? Are Johnson supporters going door to door and bribing people with cocaine?Basically the idea is this. Has there been things in your area, or to you personally, that the election has affected strongly in some way?

Sunshine Jesse
It's ridiculous. This election has both made me furious and is almost insulting to me. Both sides have an opponent that's 'so bad' that there's no way they'd even consider the opposition, and anyone who votes for them is deluded/part of the problem/all manner of insults. I've made it obvious where I stand, and unlike a lot of people here, I don't even entertain the idea that the opposition is a viable choice, but the worst part is that both sides have perfectly reasonable reasons to believe this. It's basically a cult vs the world's most apathetic and complacent voters. Which is worse? The answer is neither, both are terrible! And even then, both sides have people in both camps! It's normalized confirmation bias, falsifying information, denial, blatant hypocrisy and distrust in all forms of media, mainstream or not. It's ripping this country apart worse than any other election in my life. I'm 200% mad and can't wait for it to be over.
Ryusei the Morning Star
Time of my life I've never had so much fun with anything so far Edit: The best part is I get to pitch in the fight against a person that has come to everything I despise about my country. Politically correct, globalist, establishment, corrupt It's beautiful to be able to deal a deathblow to all of these at the same time
Francis Urquhart
Well, Washington D.C. is more or less a madhouse at present. So many people are so concerned with what the new regimes will be doing that it's rather difficult for the current regimes to get anything done. As if that means anything anymore. The bolded parts in your post are debating the election, and are not aligned with the "rules" of this thread. Please refrain from further discussion debating the actual election, versus how the election has affected you.

Flash Flyer - Sakura
As a whole, I have to deal with students at university writing articles for why they support their respective candidates. I know that last week, one wrote about Hillary and another for Trump. Couple that with my statistics professor deciding for us to survey people about their voting preferences in our area, even though I don't think I should be querying people about it, due to strong opinions either way. (I still haven't gotten a response from TA regarding a question I had about it, and it's been a few days). In the long run, this election's given me a lot of doubts about both candidates, but more so Trump; especially after watching the last debate (I quit watching it after half an hour). I will say that my parents dislike Trump for the most part, and can't say I blame them. ---tl;dr, have to deal with riled up students at college, professor decides to make us "replace" official polls because it's election year and parents have a dislike for one particular candidate. I apologize if any of this did border on the lines of debating (most I probably said was that the election made me care about Trump a lot less, if I even bothered with him outside of politics). Tentacruel
It's been aggravating. I don't care who gets elected too much, but the hysteria is troubling. (And a little entertaining.)
Fusion X. Denver
In a word, uncomfortable. The election is always talked about with such negative connotations that I tend to tense up a little anytime someone talks about it. I've yet to have a conversation with someone who is genuinely excited about it. But I also really learned how important it is to distinguish between people and their political beliefs. Not all Trump supporters are the ignorant fucks they show in media and not all Hillary supporters are filthy liberals crusading for PC culture. Or whatever other generalizations are made about them. I'm anticipating its end just so we can all move on and focus on other significant issues plaguing our country. I hope we bring an end to the criminalization of our beloved zoo animals #justiceforharambe

Night
Oh God I bet its hard for her. I hope she gets some time for some rest. Came at a pretty less than convenient time too as she's been suffering from excessive head trauma in the past couple of months. The doctor ordered her not to work during such a hectic time knowing that she's constantly on call at all hours of the day seeing as though it's a live news network. Apparently she neglected all of that and chose to work regardless. And I have no idea whether or not she's ok seeing as though I'm currently out of the US and all I can go off of is her word thats she's fine and taking care of herself. Thanks for the kind words though, appreciate it.

Tentacruel
I'm really saddened by the fear plaguing the lgbt community right now. A lot of people are genuinely scared. It's partially the media's fault for stirring up hysteria and also the DNC's fault for reinforcing the narrative that all conservatives are out to kill them.
