Help with uploading images

So, everything i've read suggests that if i want to upload a card straight from the generator to a thread, all i have to do is click on the card and use the little bit of code it puts under a card

 

but i don't get any code, i just get [image] [ /image] with no text in between. Is this some kind of error? I've tried uploading the pictures to imgur and put them in the thread itself, but it says that I'm not allowed to use that kind of extension

 

so. what do i do?

The image problem's been there since March/April; we've been trying to get YCMaker to fix it, but you realize he's inactive for a good amount of the year. 

 

Did you make sure that the file address ends in .jpg; sometimes if you directly get the image URL, it won't yield an address with that file extension ending.

Uhm, I dont completely get the question but just try uploading it to imgur and get the BBC Code link. Thats what I do. I don't think the problem will be fixed anytime soon. So dont sit aorund and wait for the next update if you REALLY want to post cards.

 

When you upload to imgur, look for the arrow pointing down and click share links, find BBC Code Forums, I have no problem
