[spoiler=Backstory]His duel spirits are treated as equals, he fights only to protect, as he was given his Spirits after he left the Divine Gate. His father is King Alemenio, the King of the gate. As he is prince, heir to the throne, he has only the best duel spirits in his control. He has only heard rumours of a man named Zaddicus, with ultimate power. Dayzon is now waiting to find this man, in search of allegiance.

[spoiler=Personality]Though calm and cool, he's not always gonna be that way. He has a secret power to tap into his duel spirits power, enabling him to become the Divine Gate King. Sadly, this great form does condone violence, and doesn't mind killing in order to protect himself. In this form he focuses on bringing out his opponnent's dark side, in order to achieve his victory. His nobility gives him the strength of 800 Men. He doesn't care of law, and always fights for his own reasons. He thinks zaddicus will be a worthy ally for him

[spoiler=Deck]The Gate Pendulum Synchro Deck, a veery powerful one and has very few weaknesses

Alright, can you give us any info on how the RP will start so we can start planning out our actions?

it's going to start with the announcement by Zadicus of the tablets, your replies are expected to be how you found them and/or an introduction to your character, possibly through a duel if you'd prefer

So yeah, sorry for inactivity, but i hopefully have made enough changes

i like what you've got but the card strength does not represent actual strength, it is fortitude, your will to rise above desire which your character doesn't explicitly show however he does show characteristics of two other arcana so i will give you a choice as to which one you want, joining Zadicus for power is a very selfish yet intelligent move, the emperor suppresses all emotion to let logic dictate his actions. there is also the moon, in it's light things become both clear and contorted, some things you believed safe become deadly and malevolent such as your characters transformation. reply with your choice but besides that accepted

1 day until the fates start twisting. I hope we're all getting pumped

Just a few final questions before things get going:

  1. What's the final say on the rating?
  2. What happens when you lose a duel? Is your soul forfeit? Do you lose your Tarot card? Does nothing really bad happen at all outside of the humiliation of losing? Does defeat = friendship?

i'm probably going to go with PG13 just to give the opportunity to anyone that wants to use it, losing a duel can have several reprucutions depending on what the duelists agree to and how desperate the situation is, Zadicus claimed the kingdom mostly by defeating the previous leader in a duel

[spoiler=Revenge Incarnate]

Name Amaranth Iscariot

Gender Male

Age  0 (since resurrection, 19 at time of death)

Tarot card The Hanged Man

Appearance Amaranth was a handsome youth, with hair so blonde it was practically silver, and green, catlike eyes that shone even in the dark. He was muscular, but not built, more toned. He was so full of energy that he bounced with every step, so dashingly handsome that he would make heads turn as he walked, and his smile was always a sight to behold, charming, warm, and friendly no matter who he spoke to.

Now, he is different. Amaranth's once handsome features are now marked with scars from the Duel that cost him his life, healed improperly by the forces that brought him back from death. His once silver hair is now the blackest of dark, and his green eyes are blind and webbed over. His energy is replaced by the driven shuffle of the undead. His dashing smile replaced with the permanent, maniacal grin of a mindless killer.

Backstory Amaranth had it all. A wonderful family, a village of people who adored him, and no self-image issues to speak of. He was decreed the local Summoner at a young age, and helped people to commune with spirits of old. And should the need arise, he would also defend the village, and he did, easily, many times. The little hamlet was a fortress under his young eyes, and he would not allow a threat to harm a single blade of grass in the fields. Until Zaddicus. When Zaddicus took over, he sent out a small squadron of his royal forces to bring Amaranth to him, wanting him as an elite warrior. Amaranth politely refused, saying he was needed in his village. When Zaddicus heard this, it was from battered and terrified soldiers who dared not describe what Amaranth had done. Zaddicus sent one of his elites to handle the matter, declaring that Amaranth would join him or pay dearly. The elite suffered the same fate, only he was incapable of relaying this information to his king, for he was catatonic. So Zaddicus went himself.

Zaddicus crushed Amaranth, killed him, and threw him from a cliff in a rage. The village was immediately occupied by Zaddicus' forces, and he believed the matter finished. He could not have been more wrong.

Amaranth cried out to the spirits in his dying moments, and ancient beings awoke from the disturbance that was Zaddicus and Amaranth's Duel. these creatures gave their power to him, and swiftly, he returned to life. A mere fortnight after his death, Amaranth clawed his way back from the grave, twisted in agony, corrupted by power, and hungry for blood. He razed his old village to the ground in mere minutes, and in the process, discovered The Hanged Tarot, drawn to his now immense power. This, he decided, was a perfect opportunity, since he could practically smell Zaddicus' power on the Tarot Card, and made straight for Zaddicus' castle.

Deck Earthbound Immortals: Amaranth, now a vessel for the power of ancient titans, wields monstrous creatures with effects that wreak havoc on his opponents. However, he cannot summon them on this earth, so he must call up the grounds of other worlds to release them, his favourite being Mausoleum of The Emperor.

Misc. Information
Amaranth has retained his strangely polite mannerisms, despite trying to kill everyone he meets.

love the revenge scheme and backstory to his deck but the hanged man represents passivity and sacrifice (fun fact the typical image of the Hanged man tarot card is a depiction of Odin hanging from the world tree), while Amaranth has lost much it was not by his own choice and it seems his methods to achieve his goal are anything but passive, the reverse of this card is a warning, you have gained without sacrifice or struggle and refuse the path of passivity, both of these can lead to a cosmic punishment or a failure to achieve what you seek, take time to reflect or be doomed to repeat your mistakes, i believe this interpretation, while not necessarily represented in your character, is a possible future he could face, let his rage consume him and he will again fail, accepted

Just a side note, can i make a 2nd char?

of course, i actually plan on doing a second once i finish the archetype for them

a note for Yuya-Kun, Predraelia is a kingdom not a town, i'm only mentioning because there will be several named towns in Predreaelia (including the capital where Zadicus' palace is) that could come up

Yuya-Kun, please refrain from making OOC posts in the IC thread, you can finish the duel but next time ask first, also when a card is played in an actual duel please state it's stats in parenthesis when activated, preferably in this format

name

level

attribute

type (include subtype such as tuner, gemini, synchro ect.)

effect (if any)

atk

def

name

spell or trap

type (continuous, field, ect.)

effect
